J&P Autoworks

We discovered J&P on the internet while searching for a new mechanic/auto repair shop. We’ve used different car dealerships service but never felt great about the service or high costs. We’ve also tried Midas, Goodyear, Grismer, & Oxford….but also never came away feeling totally certain about the work or their service recommendations.
The reviews on J&P were excellent so we decided to give them a shot. We brought in our Jeep for some maintenance before a long road trip. And from the outset, Sukh & Pavi, brothers who run the business, made us feel extremely comfortable and confident we came to the right place. Throughout our first experience, it became apparent that they knew what they were doing, were experienced, knowledgeable, and trustworthy.
They even fit us in on a tight schedule and couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating.
It’s really hard to find an auto shop you can trust these days, but we feel totally confident that we found our shop w/ Pavi & Sukh at J&P Autoworks. Their recommendations were straight forward, and their service was excellent. They earned our trust and we highly recommend to family & friends.

I’m reluctant to write this review because I don’t want too many to know about this gem of a mechanic. They are always honest, only suggesting what is needed to be done, and do all work at a lower than normal price. I take every vehicle I have to J&P for any service that’s needed. They’re friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and handsome too.

I’ve been coming here for several years, and everyone is always so kind and informative. I always feel taken care of when my car has any issues.

These guys really care about you as a customer. They keep in mind your budget and will help but you prioritize if there are a lot of fixes needed. They have been my mechanics for over 5 years now and I love seeing their business grow because they are both good hearted individuals who have a high standard of quality and are honest with you. I couldn't recommend them more highly!

One of the best automotive repair shops in Columbus, if not the best. Pavi and Sukh are very knowledgeable in the automotive sector. They are willing to go above and beyond for your car. I will only trust them with my vehicles.

I have had them work on two vehicles over the years. They have always been straight forward with me about what needs done and what the price will be. We have taken our car her twice now, and not only was the work done for a reasonable price, but it was done fast and done right.

My husband is an ex-mechanic so he is always leery of shops we don't know. This one has a good local reputation so we took our car there to have the AC fixed. I was back on the road in an hour with a working AC, for a good price. Highly recommend these guys!!

J+P is one of the best 2 or 3 places I have used in my 55 years of driving. They are knowledgeable, honest, and thoughtful. Like most places of business, they are currently short-staffed. However, they are well worth the current minor inconveniences which being short-staffed brings.

Excellent! These guys are the mechanics you want to go to and recommend. I trust these guys. They do Excellent work. Turn around is great. They are honest. They will not gauge you. One of the owners, Joey, even cautioned me before putting more money into my current car because of the age....after their own inspection. You don't get that everywhere.

Great "Mom and Pop" mechanics with extensive knowledge. They go that extra mile for your vehicle. Have been there 3 times now over the last couple of years for 2 of our cars. Always do a thorough job during an inspection of your vehicle.

They are the best. The truly just want to help and are very honest. I took my CRV to them and while they could have fixed it, it would have cost me a significant amount more due to them not having a welder. Joey told me to go to a place that did, as the entire pipe was not bad just the connectors, and saved me hundreds. My whole family goes to them and we all love them.

Thank you J&P for the hassle free experience. My first time here and I have never felt this relaxed having someone work on my car and know I would get a honest feedback on what the issue is with the car and get a fair price quoted for the repairs.

I have in the past been ripped off at other repair shops on things I found out later that the car never needed fixed.

I will be glad to take my car to J&P for any work needed on my car in the future.

This shop is the best and the only place I trust! I have taken my car there twice and will be taking it there again for all future service and repairs. Great employees and fair prices. I don't feel like they are trying to rip me off, they are definitely honest and they get the job done fast!

I was looking for a reliable and honest mechanic to take my aging car to. The reviews pointed me to J&P Autoworks. Even though it was a simple battery replacement, Joey walked me through how to get the warranty and went above and beyond to get the battery from a local shop for me. I'm so impressed by the customer service. They are now my go-to car repair shop.

You guys have done some work in the past for me. You had to call in a specialist to do some type of programming for you guys and help figure out my car. This is more of a question but also a good review of the previous work you did. First thanks for fixing my car and calling in the “big guns” when there was a doubt about what was wrong. I never had a problem with my car again after the guy you called looked at it and you fixed it! Secondly does the guy you use do house calls? I would like to get his information if you don’t mind my daughters car is stalling on its own and taking 20 to 30 minutes to start up again have had it to 5 shops including the GM dealership no one I mean no one can fix her car. Please help. Thanks!

These guys are incredible and really know their stuff! I left Germain Honda with my very overpriced quote and had that work, AND more done for less than the Germain quote ( that I had to pay $85 for)! Even better they know Honda's inside and out! Couldn't recommend them more! Thanks John!

I was referred to J & P Autoworks from a friend of mine about a year ago. I have several cars that are older and require maintenance frequently. The problems have been minor to more serious but regardless everyone has been extremely forth right and look for ways to save you money. This just doesn’t happen anymore except it does exist at J & P. They are extremely knowledgeable, very conscientious and genuinely great folks!!
