It's Tabu Sushi

It was my first time eating here. I am not a fan of sushi, so I tried their cooked meals. They have a good variety of cooked meals as well as sushi and appetizers. I ordered gyozas and a bento meal. The order of gyozas didn't take long to arrive and was very warm and crunchy. They tasted amazing, and their dipping sauce was good, but it is a bit spicy. The bento comes with soup and salad. Everything was brought pretty quickly, but it was well prepared. The whole meal was delicious, the portion size was good, and the price was great. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. Will definitely eat here again.

Had to come check this place out after seeing one of my friends story on IG with a picture of her food. I was not disappointed, loved the sushi 🍣.

Hands down the best sushi I've ever had. So fresh. The combination of rice to seafood was perfect. Everything was so good. Will definitely be back!

Didn't taste like it came out of the freezer. Very fresh. Staff very friendly, asked what she recommended and provided great recommendations. Reasonable portions, not too much not too little. 👍

Tabu Sushi is our new favorite place for happy hour and dinner! We always have great service and the atmosphere is warm and lively. They have great happy hour deals. Sushi and ramen are fantastic.

The food is amazing here. This is our go to sushi place every time! Hands down the perfect sushi spot.

In our most recent visit, Taylor attended us and she was very patient with our group. Also, did us the favor of splitting the bill. She was super friendly and quick with all of her requests. Very happy with her service!

Excellent food and service always on point. The food is always delicious, large portions and the servers are very attentive always, great customer service. My husband and I have been coming here for 3 years now and is always great!

We had such a great time celebrating my friends birthday. It was my first time in this location, typically I go to the one in Vista. I got to try more rolls with a larger group an can recommend the Avatar Roll, Lemon Cilantro Roll, Sexy Roll, After Burner Roll.... shoot most of the rolls i tried were really good and the presentation was great too. Fun to come with friends or alone at the bar. Apparently the bar is not yet fully operational but they have great beer. The photo is of a custom roll: shrimp tempura inside, topped with tuna and mango and some spice. It was good

Our favorite sushi place in San Diego county. The only problem with this place is that they're too far from home! If they were closer, we would be there a lot more often, for sure.

When you go (Yes, you really have to go), be sure to order the beer and sake combo, and order the Asahi beer... A much better flavor than Kirin or Sapporo. We prefer the sake warm, but to each his own.

Once your drink order is out of the way, it's time to get down to the serious business of enjoying their food!

Sometimes we like to hit it at happy hour, and order one of just about everything, but it's just as good to hit it with their normal menu, and enjoy the regular prices with the absolutely awesome rolls. Today was kind of special, we hit it at the end of happy hour, So we got a few happy hour treats and then moved on to their usual selection of really great rolls.

Yeah, there are other sushi places we visit, mostly because they're closer to home, but when we have the time, It's Tabu Sushi is always our number one choice.

I love this sushi restaurant! The food and the cocktails are fresh, well crafted, and tasty. The staff are welcoming and patient. The restaurant has great atmosphere and they play sports on their flat screen TVs. Lastly, they have great selection on drinks (beers,sake, and cocktails).

The atmosphere is very quaint and the staff was very attentive. It didn't hurt that this roll may not be on their regular menu. Not knowing how to order sushi wasn't a problem here. The combination of Sweet, Salty, Creamy, and Spicy all rolled up into this "SEXY Roll" has made It's Tabu Sushi my new favorite spot for my sushi fix!!!

If you are a lover of breakfast and sushi, "It's Tabu" is the place to get your cravings filled. They have a rolled called the "Twister roll" and it is wrapped in hash brown potatoes and deep fried until crispy! Toby, one of the sushi chefs, provided a delicious recommendation on some rolls to start out with. It's Tabu is a great place to expierence, with the variety in their menu I would come again just to try everything they have to offer.

The hostess that has Harley Quinn hair was rude but the bartender and the other hostess with the wavy hair was very helpful and polite and helped us pick out rolls and got us seated and and fed. We had a great time and they had amazing rolls. The only one I didn't like was the dynamite roll it had a weird taste but everything else was great, the stuffed jalapenos, the sexy roll and the other 6 rolls we ordered were amazing. We had hot saki and Japanese beer. The people who were there and were obviously local regulars were chill and funny and had nothing but good vibes and recommendations hence the 6 rolls. Good time.
