Both were delicious. The location is in a lovely little spot & Staff was kind. Everything the staff was bringing out to eat looked delectable. Can’t wait to come back!

The Biscuit with Fried Chicken with Pimento Cheese is a weird delicious work of food art. This is a knife and fork sandwich and worth the effort.

The Biscuits with Sausage Gravy are old timey delicious with updated flare. The gravy is silky and buttery and when you smother a Stomping Ground biscuit the skies clear and your day is instantly better.

The Gouda Grits Bowl is a game changer. Anson Mill grits, Chorizo, Salsa Verde, Smoked Gouda, and a perfectly Poached Egg. This will put a smile on your face and a pep in your step.

There was a line to the door when we came in... But wait was worth it. Staff was courteous and attentive. The food was great the Farmers Fritatta was very fresh. The biscuit and gravy had me worried. it looked very white and pale, all of this made me worried I was going to be eating paste, but the experience was divine, the gravy had depth and and flavor with no need to add salt or pepper. The real show stopper were the Breakfast nachos. Amazing presentation and the nachos were layered with toppings so everything had a little of something on them the entire way down. We went for the option without chicken and honestly I don't think it needed it. Awesome experience.

We came on a Saturday and this place was bustling! There is a lively and local farmers market Just next door and this was the perfect place to grab a good coffee and a scrumptious breakfast sandwhich. A little pricey perhaps ($16 for a veggie hash on a biscuit) but worth it!

The harissa chicken salad gives me life (to the point where I’ve never photographed it beforehand because I always want to scarf it immediately). The biscuits are delicious (and I say this as someone who eats them frequently), and I love the grits. Fantastic service from kind and caring staff. Nicole and company are always working hard and innovating to give us delicious things, and Del Ray appreciates it.

I went to stomping ground recently with a close friend on a hunt for the DMV‘s best fried chicken sandwich. They have two different types of fried chicken sandwiches. I tried the classic one. I was very impressed. The pimento cheese really complimented the biscuits and the chicken itself. I highly recommend this place. It’s in a very comfortable environment.

Killer fried chicken as always. This was my first trip for dinner. I'll be back. I ate the dinner chicken biscuit. Kids fried chicken is about as high quality as possible, and they loved it. Brussels were perfectly crisped and had a nice tangy sauce.

Tried Stomping Ground today and was very pleased. The coffee was delicious. It had a nutty flavor. It was a medium or light roast with no hint of bitterness. I ordered a mocha and it was lightly sweetened, but not overpowering. I also ordered a rice krispy treat. The rice krispy was literally a huge brick.

The environment was cozy and clean. Service was exceptional and the barista was great! I highly recommend this coffee shop.

I love this spot and the spot in Arlington. Me and my partner come here to hangout and relish our food. This neighborhood restaurant has great food vibes. The staff is the best here. Many items are great from this menu.

Great quiet little coffee shop located in Del Rey. The biscuits and sausage gravy is fantastic as is the frittata. The Chai iced coffee is so delicious too. If you're in the area, make a plan to stop by and enjoy this local favorite.

The energy here is extremely lively and the staff was extremely engaging. I had contact with about 4 employees while visiting...the cashier, the table server, a gentleman stocking, and a server....all greeted me and made me feel quite welcome. I got a iced coffee, blueberry scone, and oatmeal cream pie. All were delectable. The cafe has a variety of indoor and outdoor seating and sells their own beans and ground coffee. They provide to go orders which can be preordered on the phone.

Delicious fried chicken biscuit! Tried both the traditional and the not-so-traditional, both were great, but I think the sauces on the not so traditional offer more flavor. The place is small so seating might be an issue during busy times.

The Iced Latte was wonderful for a summer morning. Quaint coffee shop that also serves food and has outdoor seating. Didn’t seem to mind bringing donuts in from across the street.

Lovely artsy spot, the food was good beside the roasted chicken which looked like left over chicken from the day before, but it was shredded chicken with oil in it, hence :-(. Everything else was on point.

The energy in this place!! And the food to top it off! Seriously, the women behind the counter could flip any bad mood with their presence - beautiful attitudes. The not so classic chicken biscuit was ridiculous!! Perfect moist yet crumbly biscuit with a super tender and moist perfectly fried piece of chicken. SO memorable here. And fresh flowers on the table too! Love it.

Amazing breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. While they're known for their biscuits, the breakfast nachos and chicken harissa salad are also amazing!

The biscuit with the cheese frittata was amazing, fluffy and delicious. Coffee was great as well.

Nice open coffee shop with excellent biscuits. Had mine with gravy. A little kick to it which just added to the large, fluffy biscuit. Coffee is strong but not bitter. Highly recommend.

The biscuit was incredibly moist and the coffee was good!

I don't know what brand their cheese is come up but that was also pretty boss
