The Front Porch

So this place has been on my bucket list for a while!! Always loved passing by and seeing the fire and lights :)). Online says it’s closed Sunday & Monday but as of now it is open! We went today on a Monday. Have to come try!

This place is fantastic. Wife and I stopped in for a quick bite on a Saturday morning. Great service, amazing food and reasonable prices.

Their drinks aren't really anything special, but the food is delicious. The prices are in line with the area (perhaps a bit below the norm giving a slight bump to value).

Highly recommend the breakfast sandwich if you're there for brunch time.

The Front Porch/Evening Star Cafe is a lovely area. The patio extends behind the building, so there is a lots of seating. Our order was placed and paid for via our phones (no servers physically taking orders), which was pretty cool. The drinks and food came out promptly after our order was placed. The food was good - not excellent, but solid. I’d go back for the atmosphere alone.

A cool local place and it’s just off I 95. If you are craving for some coffee it’s worth the detour. The staff were very friendly. I highly recommend it.
We got the Berry Lemonade and Sweet Citrus coffee. Both were amazing. They are a bit pricy for the quantity though just a heads up.

So the Front Porch is a combo of the Evening Star as well. Recommend getting a reservation just in case it’s full. But the staff were very friendly and informative. All we had to do was scan to order. The system charged per person so very simple and easy. Can order multiple drinks at once which was very nice. The biscuits and gravy were delicious!! And everything was spaced out well.

Great place to sit outside and have a few drinks with friends. The bourbon slush is fantastic. Food is surprising excellent. Recommend the Pork bowl.

Outdoor seating was nicely spaced apart, and heaters were great for keeping the temperature comfortable. Ordering online was a breeze, and helped with keeping the space feeling clean and sanitary. Lots of families around. The fried cauliflower was delicious and the cocktails were delicious. Would highly recommend if you are in the area, though make sure to make a reservation, as it seems to be a popular place to be!

We had Sam as our server and he was absolutely LOVELY! He made some great recommendations for us, since we were out-of-town guests with no idea what to try.

Good food and drinks. It was very easy to order and pay from our phones. I felt comfortable and safe. I sat outside on a hot day so I'm sure the food would have been more enjoyable inside an air-conditioned room but alas.

Great lil place for a delicious bite and a nice cold beverage. Clare was excellent as were the others who constantly refilled our water and were attentive to us and those around.

Walked up in a chance to get a table outside... Ace, the hostess, was gracious and worked us in. Suggested the Thai Mules... delicious! The best part was Ace- a super friendly face, happy to see us. Thank you!

The food was excellent and the atmosphere is really great. One would expect so from sitting outside. They even have a small place for the kids to play, complete with Tonka-style trucks.

Lovely place to spend a nice evening outside. Clearly the connection between Evening Star and Planet Wine makes this special.

Outdoor comfort food with heaters and fire pits in the winter. Healthy, delicious kids menu; they'll love it and you won't feel guilty.

Great little slice of heaven in Fabulous Del Ray

It has a great atmosphere! When the weather is warm, it is amazing to sit out front and try a bourbon slushy.

Had a drink here, and it was amazing to sit by the fire. Great experience!

This is our favorite summer place in the neighborhood. Great beer selection, good food, very chill to relax and have a conversation with a friend.
