When I came to Foundation Fitness it was the first time I had ever walked into a gym. The twice weekly sessions have been terrific. Ester is so very good at what she does. She is very focused on form and provides excellent feedback to be sure I am doing the exercises correctly and getting the most out of them. Ester is encouraging and positive and just a pleasant person to be around. There are never more than a few people training at any given time and everyone is very friendly. CJ (owner) is very responsive if you ever need anything. I am so grateful to have found this gym and to have been connected with Ester.

Foundation Fitness and its trainers are excellent. I’ve been working with Nigel over a year and have had a great experience. My goals have changed over time since working with him and he has adjusted my workouts to match my goals. He is always paying attention to correct form when I need it. Great gym, very friendly, and excellent quality of training. Highly recommend!

Foundation Fitness is top notch! I worked with CJ for several months earlier this year. He did a great job getting to know me - my strengths and limitations - and then customizing workouts that challenged me. The facility is clean and welcoming. Everyone is super friendly. I genuinely looked forward to working out there. Fingers crossed that I can figure out my work schedule and get back in the doors this fall.

I needed to get active again after years of working from home. I have some physical limitations and needed guidance and modifications that workout videos couldn't provide. Ive been coming to Foundation Fitness for 10 months and they always have a modification to keep me working towards my goals. The trainers care about their clients and the environment is comfortable and low stress. The other clients are a friendly community of different folks aiming for their own personal goals too. Foundation Fitness is exactly what I was looking for - a supportive place to receive guidance, work on my goals, and stay encouraged to continue the course. If you want a personalized program catered to your goals and a low key community of others focused on achieving personal goals, Foundation Fitness is the place for you!

My husband and I have been training with CJ since May and our workouts with him have easily become the highlights of our week. We started the process as a lead up to our wedding and it definitely made a huge difference in our confidence on the big day.
CJ makes every workout interesting, difficult, and dare I say it, FUN. He always makes us feel like a priority and can turn an unmotivated day into one of our best workouts. Foundation Fitness is such a welcoming environment and we truly love every session we have there!

I have had such a positive experience at Foundation Fitness over the past (almost) year! I’d had a series of injuries over the last few years and needed to get stronger - without fear of further injuring myself. The team at Foundation Fitness and most especially Ester and CJ have been amazing in working with me to understand my specific needs/challenges and helping me work toward my goals and get stronger. I particularly appreciate Ester’s attention to form and where my movements may need to be adjusted based on how my body is feeling/reacting (I’m hyper nervous about my back!). I’ve also found FF to be a fun, supportive and welcoming environment to work out in. My pup Blondie adds 5 (ok, 50) enthusiastic tail wags for Foundation Fitness - she also loves to stop by and visit on our walks!

Foundation Fitness (and more specifically CJ) has been a fantastic experience for both myself and my wife. We started training to get in shape in advance of our wedding and CJ has motivated us to reach our goals while keeping sessions fun and varying workouts. He has taken a personal interest in our success and transformed workouts from a chore to something we look forward to. Have been a member for almost a year and it's been a great experience. From day one, CJ and team make you feel like part of the family. My trainer, Stephanie, has been awesome to work with and cares sincerely about her clients. She is always responsive and willing to accommodate my schedule, and also somehow manages to create every single workout in a way that it is challenging but achievable if you push yourself. Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking to get healthier!

I've been coming here about a year, so obviously I like it! Highly recommended. Nigel is awesome. Great with workout form, and he always keeps the workouts challenging. I've gained so much strength since I started coming here and, because Nigel switches up the workouts before I plateau, I'm still making gains one year in. Outstanding.

Review up front: 5 stars, 100% go in and visit. I had not seriously worked out in a number of years. Foundation's personal training will work with any level of individual - from those starting out doing a single sit-up to get out of bed each day, to those who've hit a serious training plateau and need a new approach.

CJ runs the place great - extremely welcoming, outgoing, and builds community. I train with Esther - absolutely amazing trainer, explains and demonstrates safe and proper technique, customizes your whole routine based on you, and not a second wasted during each session! Highly recommend - so go check it out!

I joined foundation fitness after the last two years completely derailed my health. I used to lift back in my younger days so wanted a program that included weights. I've been training with Stephanie for a little over 3 months so far and I'm happy with the results. I'm down 15 pounds so far and have lost inches and gained muscle. Stephanie creates good workouts for me, modifying it when I need it for my knee injury, and pushes me without being annoying. Happy customer so far!

Foundation Fitness is about family, fun, and of course- getting fit. You’ll get completely personalized training whether you’re a teen athlete or an adult recovering from a back surgery (like me!), the space is always immaculate, the trainers are friendly and serious about their work, and I love the delightful surprises like essential oil-infused towels for your post workout cool down.

I’ve worked with other trainers in the past and this is the one I’m sticking with. CJ is creative and knowledgeable so you’ll never get bored, and he’s so experienced that you feel confident in even the most challenging of cases. He helps you find new internal strength you didn’t know you had. He’s also committed to his community, which is a bonus if you care about who you’re investing in for your health and wellness.

You’ll *want* to go to the gym when you train at Foundation Fitness.

This personal training facility is filled to the brim with incredible trainers. CJ runs a tight ship and is so knowledgeable; every time I come in, it's new and fun. Everybody is welcome, and no matter your level, from beginner to seasoned athlete, he'll put you through an excellent regimen.

After almost a year of physical therapy, I was ready to get back in the game. During my rehabilitation, I lost a lot of muscle and was in poor shape. My physical therapist and I knew that I needed expert help to meet my goals without injuring myself. She recommended Foundation Fitness because she knew that they had the expertise to help me meet my fitness goals. I started working with CJ a little over a month ago and I have already made significant gains. CJ is the epitome of professionalism and brilliant at his craft. The staff is knowledgeable and encouraging. The gym itself is very clean and welcoming; they sanitize equipment frequently, trainers wear masks, the total number of people in the building at one time is usually no more than 5. All of which has given me peace of mind to continue training during the pandemic. Most importantly, I am improving my fitness level and strength each week. I truly look forward to being challenged during my sessions with CJ.

I started working with CJ and Foundation Fitness in January 2021. We hit the ground running and I never looked back. CJ tailors my workouts weekly to ensure he’s addressing my concerns and helping me achieve my fitness goals. I was relatively fit before joining but can honestly say that I have never felt stronger or more healthy in my adult life. CJ has been instrumental in pushing me beyond my own limits and helping me realize my fitness potential. It’s also nice watching my body transform and tone from week to week. Might I add that they are very reasonably priced. I did a lot of research before selecting this gym and am more than happy with my decision.

The gym is also very clean and everyone adheres to COVID 19 protocols. I feel completely safe during my training sessions.

Stephanie is everything you can ask for in a trainer. She is knowledgeable, observant, listens well, and is always on time. Form is important to me to prevent injuries, she watches my form intently and under her direction I make adjustments as needed. Sometimes I have aches and pains from poor sleep and computer use, she listens to how I am feeling and switches the workout routine accordingly. I have been weightlifting since I was 10 and working with Stephanie for under a year. She has taught me so much and a truly value her input and support. I see so many benefits physically and mentally. Thank you:)

Joining this gym was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I feel totally comfortable here, which is something I never thought I’d say about a gym! I’ve made tons of progress with my trainer, CJ, and he has taken the time to get to know me, my abilities, and how to motivate me. I highly recommend visiting to see if this gym might be right for you— for me this kind of personal training has made all the difference.
