Dr Higgins is an amazing loving, nurturing, proud and intelligent veterinarian and women! She is always there for her staff (even former staff from previous jobs) who lives & loves what she does from emergency to surgery, general practice and holistic specialties. When I found out she was the owner of this clinic I was overjoyed so many pets would receive the best care ❤☮

Absolutely fantastic staff and Dr. Higgins is incredibly knowledgeable. Very thorough, she takes all the time in the world with you and your fur babies. You never feel rushed. She wants nothing but the best for all of her patients and she finds other methods besides drugs, pills, and shots to fix the issue at hand. Carol, the office manager, is very reliable and always follows through in getting back to you or getting you in for an emergency. I cannot say enough about this place. Dr. Higgins is truly a gift!

Dr. Higgins and her staff are one of a kind! She goes above and beyond for my Frenchie and takes the time to explain whatever is needed and any alternative treatments to make you feel comfortable. She has a true passion for animals and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Dr. Higgins is a very special vet. Words cannot explain how wonderful she is. Even though her waiting room is full, she takes her time and listens to your concerns. She is smart and I feel comfortable with her suggestions and care. I have never felt like she is over charging me and/or over treating my dog which is a big concern with other vets. Carol her Vet nurse is just as lovely as Dr. Higgins. Thank you Dr. Higgins for the love you have shown my sweet dog.

Dr. Higgins is simply the best. She truly cares about the animals. I cannot say enough good things about her and how she cares for animals.

Both my father and husband have used Dr. Tanya Higgins and have had wonderful experiences with her and her staff. My father has used her to board and immunize 2 dogs and my husband has gone there with his dogs and also an injured cat he found at his workplace. The care and compassion that Dr. Higgins has for animals is astounding. I highly recommend her office!

Visits were efficient, Dr. Higgins and staff were friendly and made me and my pets comfortable. Brianna went above and beyond to help me when I requested important documents for my pets for our move.

All 3 of my dogs see Dr. Higgins. (2 Golden Retrievers and 2 Miniature Dachshund) and i can’t imagine them going to see anyone else. First, it’s a privately owned practice, which in and of itself means that no one is going to push a bunch of corporate prices on you, and of course I would much rather go with a local business owner. Second, the level of care and TIME Dr. Higgins spends with her clients is unmatched. She never rushes in and out of the appointment. She answers questions and makes sure that we understand. Her staff is amazing as well. Just all around super people who love my pets as much as I do. You can’t ask for anything more.

Dr. Higgins is the best. I have had dogs and cats my whole life and have probably seen at least 15 different doctors.

When I got my dog Fiona from Broward Animal Shelter, she had to go for a follow up visit. Dr. Higgins was one of the vets on the list the shelter provided.

I have finally found a vet that really cares. Nice small office with very nice staff. I highly recommend Davie Creek Animal Hospital for everyone.

Dr. Higgins and her staff are truly amazing. They go above and beyond to help pet parents help their babies. For my first appointment alone, Dr. Higgins came in an hour early so that she could give my dog an hour and a half of her full attention. With only one visit, my big baby made almost a complete recovery from his back pains. I highly recommend Dr. Higgins and her methods to everyone.

Took my almost 11 year old female rottweiler to Dr. Higgins' office and it was a fantastic experience. Literally every member of the office i spoke to was extremely friendly and thorough with explaining my dogs issues and how to resolve them. She ended up have a bunch of issues that i wasnt aware of, ear infection, arthritis, worms etc. Dr. Higgins addressed every issue and gave not only western medicine but holistic treatments, which im a huge fan of. i would recommend her to anyone.

I don't think you could ask for more in a veterinarian. Dr. Higgins's office is conveniently located in Davie on University Dr. I had a good feeling from the first time I called her clinic and was greeted by a very friendly voice on the other line. She and her staff are warm, personable, and attentive. The office is clean and fresh-smelling. I could tell that she really has a love for what she does by the way she gently and thoroughly treated my pit/boxer mix. I also like that she offers the best of both traditional and holistic animal care. I'm so lucky to have found such a great vet!

This clinic is understanding and caring to my pets. Dr.Higgins has dealt with all of my pets since I have adopted them. Her office is nothing but professional. I will always trust her with my animals. I highly reccommed her!!!

Dr Higgins has to be the most amazing and kind hearted person I’ve ever meet. You can tell she loves doing what she does and is great with people and our furry family. I only take my pups to her.

Dr. Higgins is an amazing vet. Due to moving around, my dogs have jumped from vet to vet; however, I cannot imagine going to anywhere but Davie Creek Animal Hospital now.

She is kind, understanding and patient - to both dogs and people! My beagle is a pain when it comes to going to the vet but she manages to sooth him and get the job done.

Had a fantastic experience at Davie Creek animal hospital. My German Shepherd Hope was diagnosed with a skin allergy and Dr Higgins took time to explain the causes of Hopes issues. I now realize great veterinarian cannot be rushed. Thanks again

I met Dr. Higgins while she was moonlighting at St. Francis Animal Hospital. I immediately surprised to see that she took such an active interest in my pet's needs. She was concerned about my dog's overall well-being; she actually engaged herself with the animal and appeared to try to develop a relationship with both the pet and owner. I feel that like that component is very important in a veterinarian, just like one would desire that with a good primary care physician for one's personal health.

She also has a great knowledge of traditional and holistic approaches, like Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, which is useful for those seeking animal care in that methods. She has ambient sounds, small plants, and fountains arranged in the office to develop a sense of Feng Shui. The staff, though small, seems close-knit and continue that same theme of building a personal relationship. Dr. Higgins has a natural love for animals and people that carries into her work, and I recommend her for anyone seeking veterinarian services.

I can't say enough about this place, the staff and the vet Dr. HIggins. This is the place to go if you want a loving compassionate team looking after your furry friend. Amazing people who actually care about the animal, not just the bill. A welcomed and refreshing change from most of the other vets or pet care institutions. I highly recommend.
