Rustic Inn Crabhouse

I thought it was like eating in a high school lunch room cafeteria. The expensive food served in trays was interesting. I suppose that is what the Rustic stands for. We brought our family from out of town and they really liked the Snapper and I liked the Salmon. The Shrimp was also very good as an appetizer. The service was great and so was the food! Next time I visit, I will eat outside.

Haven't been here in years. My mom's choice was to go to Seafood World in LHP. But they've changed since Covid so I surprised her with a visit here. Nicholas was our server and a delight to have. Helpful, informative, on point and cracked my 74 year old moms Alaskan King crab for her which she loved. The food was amazing m, service on point. What an amazing experience. Will definitely be back. Thank you Nicholas for making it a great experience for us all during out birthdays.

We were in Fort Lauderdale visiting family for Christmas. One of the places they suggested was Rustic Inn Crabhouse. It’s such a fun place to dine in with your family. My kids had so much.

The entrees, if you like seafood, this is the place to be. We ordered only a few entrees but was able to feed 6 people and some. Very big portion.

It’s super crowded so arrive earlier to get a table.

Amazing restaurant with waterside seating, knowledge servers and delicious food. Went for dinner with my wife and the server seated us at a secluded table at the back of the deck area with a great view of the sunset. Really appreciated that. The restaurant is also located really close to the airport so you can see planes flying overhead. Really cool! Food was great, we had the old bay seasoned peel-and-eat shrimp, fried calamari, lobster bisque, and the crab sampler platter. The seafood tasted super fresh, the fried calamari was probably the best I've ever had but the real star were the crabs as expected. Particularly the Dungeness crab which was super flavorful. Only had a short amount of time on my visit to Fort Lauderdale and I'm so glad I chose this restaurant to eat at, it was an amazing experience!

Food was delicious! Oysters were gigantic and oh so yummy. Bloody Mary was really good and the service was stellar. Will definitely visit again if we're back in the area.

Gorgeous restaurant with fast and friendly atmosphere. Such a good choice to dine here with my friends. Everything tasted fresh and delicious and was served promptly. I'd suggest that you give this place a try...you won't be disappointed!

You won’t find a better place for seafood! The relaxed dining atmosphere is warm and inviting and very enjoyable. The food is delicious l! The Oyster Rockefeller mmmmmm. We had the sampler and that can feed 3 people easily. We ordered the kids rib as they call it. It’s a half slab and the meat just fell off the bone.

The only downside was our waiter. He should look for a different line of work. He looked miserable and was not attentive nor helpful. But the rest of the staff was. Maybe he was having off day that happens but it didn’t make for a good experience. Thank God the food more than made up for it.

I heard great things about this place. I had to try it. Party of four. Two of us split one dish. The other two each had their own. The prices were high for each of us. I have to say, one of the few times high prices were worth the experience. This place is not fancy, but I don't think upscale table cloths would change anything. Great quality food. Great service. Worth every penny. Our waiter explained everything including how to crack open the various seafood items. The drinks were on point. We all had a great time. Plenty of parking. Clean restrooms. $$$ I will come back.

Great for 2 or large groups. Staff very friendly and professional.went for stone crabs and they had them Ala Carte which was great ....a little small for medium but they were good we were able to add them to our meal. definitely will return

Best service from Danielle! Best lobster ever! Loved the fun atmosphere!!!! Definitely glad we found this during our one night here in Florida!!! And it was in walking distance from our hotel!!!

We’re only in Fort Lauderdale for a night but had recommendations from friends that we had to come here and I’m so glad we did!
Food and service were both absolutely superb. Firstly, our server was attentive, informative and knowledgeable about the menu selection and overall had a wonderful demeanor that not only elevated our experience, but memorable too. You just have to come and try their satiable menu, that they’re so accommodating to make adjustments to for their patrons. My only complaint is I didn’t have enough room left to try any of their desserts. Next time we are back in the area we will definitely be back!!!

Best seafood restaurant in the area! We love taking all of our out of town guests here. Ask for Karen!! She will take great care of you. Crab legs are always cooked to perfection. They have a crab stuffed shrimp platter that is to die for as well. Even the scallops were cooked perfect. 5/5 for sure and a must visit seafood restaurant if you are visiting Fort Lauderdale.

This is a MUST if you are near Ft. Lauderdale. Iconic. Never disappoints. The garlic crabs are to die for as is the lobster fra diavolo! Yum.Yum.Yum. Casual setting, service was great!! Jose was the best server!

We had a HUGE platter of all kinds of different crabs as a storm blasted outside. It was SO delicious! We sat on their patio (which they had tented) and enjoyed the sound and the food! We'll certainly be back next year when we visit Miami again!

Three for lunch. Ample sized parking slots and a big lot. Greeted and seated with a table outside. Service was excellent as our drink orders were taken right away. The daughter had the Mai-Mai with fresh vegetables. A very generous serving of both fish and vegetables. The wife ordered shrimp scampi with fettuccine in red sauce. Again, it is a very generous serving with a lot of shrimp. I ordered the Friday shrimp special. Shrimp 3 ways. Grilled shrimp, shrimp in old bay spice, and garlic butter sauce. Cole slaw and potatoes in a bowl. Ice tea for all with lunch. Reasonable prices and quality food.

The food is always delicious. The service was exceptional. We live in California, but every time we're in the area for the past 12 years, it has been a must to eat at the Rustic Inn.

What a fun place! This is not a formal place - quite the opposite, but the food was outstanding. Big portions and very tasty!

Good food, atmosphere and service! We had an awesome time.

We arrived closer to 9pm without a reservation and we’re seated promptly. I recommend getting a reservation booked for an earlier seating as they do get very busy each night. We asked for a table outside and by the canal and we’re happily accommodated. We started with a slightly spiced chowder which was Delish. We ordered the Crabs with Garlic Sampler and as usual we’re not disappointed with the sizes of the crabs and the quantity we received. The Rustic Inn is one of our favorites to dine at when in the Ft. Lauderdale area.
