Superworld Comics

It is important to understand that you must contact Superworld before visiting, as they work primarily through the web, and are not a "day to day" comic store you can just drop in on. That said, a friendly call in advance to arrange an appointment, perhaps with a brief mention of what you are looking for, should work out fine. I have known Ted for years now, and my dealings with him have always been incredibly fair, honest, and I leave each time with a smile on my face. Ted and his crew work very hard to satisfy collectors like myself, and the broad selection of comics they can offer is one of the best around. I have been in the comics business myself since about 1979, dealing with Steve Geppi down in DC before he even had Diamond running, and I never fail to see something rare and unusual when I visit here. Gold, Silver, Bronze age, whatever you are after, there will be something of interest to you. It's my favorite shop to find old EC comics! I tip my hat to them, and look forward to all my future dealings with such a wonderful place. Keep up the great work Ted!

Have not visited Ted's store, but I have sold comics to him that I had kept in decent condition. Ted helped me identify which ones were of value and offered me a solid price on the lot. Stand up business, would reccomend highly!

I’ve bought from several major dealers and I’ve had a good experience with most of the folks I’ve bought from.
That being said , I’ve gotten better deals and quicker turnaround from Ted and his crew than anywhere else. I spend the majority of my buying budget with Superworld.

Superwolrld’s comics if your looking for vintage comics or great comic pages this is place to go. The staff is very friendly and easy to get along with. As for prices of pieces and comics the grading it is really reasonable you do get the value and quality you pay for. I highly recommend Superwolrld comics to anyone who is a comic enthusiast.

You won't find a company who will pay you more fairly for your quality comics than Superworld. Period.

On total trust I sent my books halfway across the country to these guys and they mailed a check back instantly. Perfect deal.

Expert buyer's and seller's of vintage comic books.

I asked about specific flaws beforehand. Two books in a row showed up with flaws. I complained. Here is their e-mail response:
"Oh, brother, You're just too neurotic for us. We'll get you refunded for the #10, and after that, would appreciate no further contact. We've got plenty of customers who aren't constantly complaining, and we'll stick with them. Good luck annoying your next victim."
The first book was refunded after I had to go through the trouble and cost of re-packing it and driving to the post office, but when the second book arrived with flaws I chose to keep it just to avoid the hassle of dealing with the return and will re-sell it below what it cost me because I am HONEST and will be stating exactly what's wrong with it which is what superworld should have done in the first place which is what I had requested.
Everyone I have mentioned this to says they cannot believe a business-owner would write an e-mail like above to a customer, and that complaints and criticisms are a normal part of customer service, especially when the business fails to perform in good faith. Also, it has come out that I am not the only one who superworld has been haphazardly selling flawed books to. Apparently you are just supposed to accept what they send or go through the hassle of returning books instead of them checking their so-called Near-Mint books to make sure they aren't actually only Good or Fine condition.
They refused to check books before selling them to me even though a couple of minutes doing so could have prevented my aggravation and frustration of being sold books with flaws that I specifically asked about. Not recommended - bad dealer.
Asked about tears but one book arrived with large, obvious tears (see photo).
Asked about missing parts but the other book arrived missing a staple (see photo).

Not a comic store. Does not sell anything. Very short with people walking in. They tell you right away when you walk in.
