Location, Location, Location. This charming hotel is in the heart of Old Town. Park your car for your stay, or don't get one at all, because you will be able to walk to just about every Alexandria attraction from your hotel. Great staff, good rooms, excellent bar and good food. Superior customer service. Rooms could use some updating -like USB charging ports- but the bed is comfortable and the rooms are quiet.

What a great writing the center of it all in Alexandria Virginia. The rooms were big and yet cozy. The restaurant was warm and friendly. The staff had sangria every night at 7:30 p.m. be there or be square. We loved it and we will come back again.

One of the nicest hotel I've stayed at. Location was great; beautiful view of King Street. Clean, nice, and affordable parking close by. The only downsides I can think of are no vent in the bathroom and I don't think the bathroom door has a lock.

Lovely historic hotel in the heart of Alexandria. Rooms are a little dated and could use some refurbishing. The service was a highlight - Reise-Anne and Bethlehem at the front desk were simply amazing at responding to our request and making sure our stay with our pup was comfortable. The EV charging in the basement worked as intended. The biggest surprise was the on-premise restaurant King&Rye that had really good food and drinks. Will definitely stay here again.

We have stayed there several times. We enjoy going there every time in the month of December. The streets are decorated with lights and it really is beautiful. Rooms are always clean, service is great. The Alexandrian is a place I would recommend any day to anyone.

Beautiful hotel within walking distance to the Water & the city Square. So many restaurants, coffee shops & ice cream all around. Plus the room has robes in the closet!

I travel a lot to D.C. for business and the Alexandrian has become my home away from home. Sam, Mustafa, and the rest of the team are so kind and have become like family to me. They truly make each stay wonderful.

The Hotel Alexandrian has been our go-to destination for the last 15 years. Our recent stay, although it started on a rocky note due to a room mix-up, was quickly rectified by the incredible efforts of the hotel staff, particularly Sam, the Area Director Of Rooms, who went above and beyond to ensure that the rest of our stay was nothing short of amazing!

One of the best location in old town. Walking distance to everything. Highly recommend this hotel. Dog friendly establishment and dog friendly area. Great location if you like to run.. visit the farmers market right across the street on Saturday.

Love coming to old town Alexandria!! Love the historic stores and brick walkways. Still working my way though all the restaurants!!

What a fabulous place to stay in Old Town Alexandria. The hotel is beautiful and staff amazing. You step out the front door of the hotel and you are in the heart of the city. Lots of great restaurants like Josephine, Murphy's Irish Pub and a variety of interesting shops including Mint Condition.

The Alexandrian Old Town Hotel was fantastic! It made for a wonderful visit for our trip to DC & VA area. It was a perfect location. We were able to walk around the neighborhoods. Found great restaurants to enjoy!!! So many!! Historic sites were close by we could tour. The water front was just a stroll away. The hotel offered wonderful service for all our needs. The decor was lovely. Our room was beautiful!! The bed was very comfortable!! Wi-Fi was good. Restaurant was next door. It was perfect for our visit!! I highly recommend this hotel!! The people were all so nice & helpful!!!😊💕💕

I am a Titanium Elite member, so I will start by say this is a good hotel for those doing business, on a business trip and looking for a good quality hotel.

A few things about the hotel:

1. If you are a Platinum Elite or above member, the restaurant provides you a $15 voucher for breakfast. There is not lounge at this location.

2. Great location that is in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. Alot of restaurants and the river within walking distance.

3. There is a great gym on site with cardio equipment and light weights.

4. No pool.

5. You do not have to pay for parking.

6. Mini Fridges are in the rooms, but no Microwave.

Nice hotel. Room was huge and clean. Had two queen beds. Could have fit three. Very nice staff was courteous and helpful. Suggested several good restaurants and things to do. Security was good kept on top of who was entering and leaving hotel.

Nice hotel, great staff! Had our annual meeting here. Meeting room was a bit small, but it worked out.

This hotel has changed names and hands through the years, but it is always great. The location can't be beat. All the rooms have fridges (yay). The bathroom lights are all dimmable, which is a really nice touch that is useful when trying to find the loo in a strange place in the middle of the night without turning all lights to full illumination. Bathtubs are deep and comfy. The bed was so wonderfully soft. There are 3 outlets on the room desk, so don't bother to look for wall space.

Parking on-site is a bit of a racket-- you can park in a public garage across the side street for $1/hr instead to save money. I don't recommend overnight street parking, as it is scarce, would require a walk of 2+ blocks, and mercilessly policed.

Lovely spot with very nice people working there. They have a lovely tradition of a specific whiskey drink that they serve every night (except when they don't). The drink is very tasty, but they probably should embrace this more robustly. They were super nice, but couldn't speak to the reason for this. It was great, but could be more fun! Breakfast at King and Rye was very delicious.

I’ve stayed here on numerous occasions, as well as other Marriott properties in Old Town Alexandria and the Alexandrian is by far my favorite.

The front desk staff are wonderful. The lobby area is warm and inviting; atypical of most, but more representative of an Autograph Collection property.

The rooms are nice, well appointed with Keurig coffee makers in each. If you are fortunate enough to get one of the handful of balcony rooms you will have a nice place to sit and look out over the central courtyard vs. the busy King street.

Highly recommend to stay and enjoy old town from a very central location.
