Hyatt Centric Old Town Alexandria

Excellent spot to stay if you are visiting the area. Short 10 min walking to the metro train. In the Alexandria historic street so you can walk all the way to the water. The room was clean and the shower pressure was one of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a place. The have a valet or you can do street parking. There are parking garages in the area too. Great restaurant below.

Stayed here over St. Patrick's day weekend.

Pros: Location is great. It is right on King St., like 2 or 3 blocks from the metro. There's a restaurant attached and multiple within a few blocks. They have valet, but I got lucky and was able to find street parking. The rooms were small but clean and well-situated. Every employee I encountered was so nice and helpful.

Cons: I stayed in 2 different rooms because I had an existing reservation and wanted an extra night. As previously mentioned, the rooms are small. My first night, I stayed in what was designated as a king room (room 524). It was not a king bed, it was a queen. It didn't bother me because I was alone. I just think it was worth mentioning. There's no minifridge or microwave in the room but the front desk has both. Also you have to get your ice from the front desk.

Overall, it was an excellent stay and I will be back.

This is a nice little property. Rooms are small but clean and new. The shower is outstanding; I'd come back just for that. Good location and great staff. They were able to quickly accommodate my request for a small fan in my room. Definitely recommend.

We stayed a night here to avoid DC traffic and loved it. The location is great and public transportation is easily accessible.

The hotel room is small, but the bedding was absolutely wonderful. Ocean at the front desk was wonderful.

Stayed here on new year eve for 1 night. There was no self parking in the hotel but they offered a valet parking. The valet service was convenient and fast. The hotel located in the center of tourist attractions and easy walk to the waterfront of potomac river to see the firework. Lots of restaurants nearby. The service from checkin to checkout was awesome. The room was on the small side but was clean and have everything you need.

Located right on historic king street, this was an awesome location. The rooms were so clean and comfortable. They had these amazing little motion sensor lights on the bottom of the beds for nighttime, so helpful. The service was top notch from every individual I dealt with during my stay. Valet was efficient and helpful. Will absolutely stay here again when in town for business.

I was very happy with my one night weekend stay. Received the suite upgrade as a globalist. Room was quiet with nice views. Valet parking was very fast (<5 mins waiting time for pick up). Breakfast had good options for vegetarians. WIFI was not the fastest with a download speed of 9 mb/s. Did not find a USB charger near the night stand.

Clean hotel, EXCELLENT service (valet was always prompt, quick and friendly) with an excellent restaurant and staff. This is a hotel valued for it's location, so as far as value for your money, you'll be paying a lot more than a hotel 10 mins away, but you won't be able to just walk out into the heart of Old Alexandria. For a work conference/vacation, the location was wonderful. If you're ready to spend some money, you'll have a quality stay here.

Alexandria is gonna give you old world charm. Happy hour at the restaurant and nice gym.

Perfectly respectable accommodations for this kind of hotel but what really set our stay apart was the staff. They were friendly and attentive and gave the place the feel of a family-run inn rather than a chain hotel. The front desk even made sure that I got the wedding rate we thought we had missed out on. The location is solid, close to the Metro on the off-chance that it's running and you can take the trolley down King Street. Valet was excellent and prompt, but that is the only parking option if you don't want to go to another garage. Room was clean, if small (though not for the area), with a surprisingly nice shower.

Stayed here for work. Very nice location. Walking distance to most of all the nice restaurants in Alexandria. The food was good at the restaurant for breakfast. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Rooms are compact, but they have everything you need, are clean, and look to have been updated nicely over the years. The staff is friendly and attentive. Compared to hotels of similar quality in nearby locations, this place is cheaper - this is a clear and obvious choice if you are looking to visit the DC area but are on a bit of a budget and unwilling to compromise on quality - especially during the winter as the lack of a pool is no issue.

The older gentleman who works at the front desk deserves a raise honestly he was so nice and informative and I felt like he genuinely was concerned for my safety during the 4th of July, he answered all my questions and was a joy to be around I wish I remembered his name. The area is beautiful walking distance to absolutely everything and the metro is easy to understand and use for people not from here.

Price was reasonable with parking and valet being worthil every penny

I stay in a significant amount of hotels due to my job, once I found this hotel I stopped using every other hotel in Alexandria/Old Town. This hotel is phenomenal. They have always been extremely welcoming to my 100lb hound. The rooms are very nice, super comfortable beds, you can cast to the tv, and the hotel gym is clean. Above all else, Kelly is superb! She is professional and friendly.

Cleanest, most comfortable and friendliest hotel stay I've ever had. The staff is friendly, accommodating and efficient. The beds and bedding are so comfortable. Air conditioning worked very well, as did the smart TV with Googlecast. Bathroom was immaculate. The high end hair dryer was a really nice touch. Sure, the parking is $35/day, but that includes a prompt valet service (honestly worth it). It was a flawless stay and the location is great. So many places to shop and eat on and around King Street.
