Harris Teeter Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. I absolutely love this pharmacy. They always notify me when refills are due. And I am able to pick it up the next day. They have bent over backwards to get my medication that the manufacturer has trouble keeping in stock. Very professional and always a smile on their faces.

There is a good reason that Sonya is the manager. Sonya is efficient as well as polite to the customers.

The 5 stars go to Joseph only, the kind pharmacy technician who gave us our Covid vaccine. He was so professional and very informative, letting us know what to expect and precautions to think about. By far, he is the friendliest employee at this pharmacy.

I've been using this location for 7 months and the staff are courteous and capable. I haven't had the same experience as the negative reviewers.

I have never had a bad experience getting my prescriptions filled or refilled at this location. Very easy to refill prescriptions online, and wait times have always been short or non-existent.

Not impressed. Slow and disinterested service. But, my Rx (not covered by insurance) was a LOT cheaper than Walgreens/CVS, so I guess I’m getting what I’m paying for...

The women working at this pharmacy are the worst. You will spend 40 minutes on hold. Sonja is a power tripping glorified cashier who will hold your medication or refuse to fill it because she is having a bad day with no regard for your health or safety and will hang up on you. Malpractice lawsuits coming your way. Do not go here for your prescriptions.

This pharmacy never picks up the phone. Even after calling the store manager, he walked the phone to them and they still ignored it. I could hear the full of every conversation for at least another 20 minutes (after 30 minutes of trying to call), before giving up and hanging up. Horrible.

This pharmacy is extremely unprofessional. For months, they will take days to fill prescriptions sent by my doctor to be filled that day with no explanation. Sonya also changes her mind as to when and how she feels like refilling a prescription. Last month she refused to fill an as-needed prescription because it was "too soon" and she went by what was written on the prescription. Now as I try to get another refill, even though it is days after when the supply is done, she is saying she will NOT go by what is written on the prescription and she needs to talk to the doctor. Don't trust this place with your medication.

Have they ever answered the phone EVER? Unreachable. Website doesn't give details to things so you try to call and they dont answer and then come in only to find they don't have some medication or vaccine available. Waste of time.

rude pharmacist No customers for shot & next scheduled in 15 minutes-would not take me without appointment .

I went to this pharmacy last Thursday to get my prescriptions filled. The pharmacist on duty told me that Sunday would be the earliest time they coould fill the order. I received a call from the pharmacy on Sunday letting me know my order was ready. I arrive on Monday approximately 4pm to pick up my order only to be greeted with disgust and anguish.
The pharmacist manager was on duty and asked for my name and birthday. She then proceeded to tell me that there was no order filled for me and there was nothing she could do. I told her it seemed very suspicious that there was no record of me being there and no prescriptions filled. She said she would look into it later and I demanded that she proceed abruptly due to the fact that one of the prescriptions was a controlled substance. She did not look on any shelf. She dod not look for any paperwork. She just stood there and lied to my face about everything. I called my doctor and told them of the incident and only when I told her I was going to call the police next did my medicine magically appear. Odd right. I spoke with the assistant manager about the situation.
She said she would talk to her. Not only did she like and say my prescriptions were not there, I am also missing 60 of 90 prescribed pills. It is my conclusion that the pharmacist manager is a thief and addict. I will definitely continue to make sure this gets resolved to the fullest extent to which the law allows me.

I've never found their customer service great, and they've been sometimes very dismissive of my questions - but that's fine as long as I can get what I came for at a location that's convenient. But this most recent, very routine Rx I'm trying to fill has been completely bungled, and even my doctors office can't seem to get it sorted out. It's been five days. I'll be switching pharmacies after this.

Lots of things to get but staff were rude. I took something to check ingredients, then I put it down because it had something I can’t have. An employee started yelling about how she just straightened the shelves and I ruined it. I said “sorry” but she said to never do this again! So I decided never to go to that location again

Appointments for vaccines are useless. They shouldn’t even offer them. I wouldn’t recommend using this pharmacy for vaccine services.

Does not answer the phone. 15 minutes on the line during normal hours and I was treated to a combination of ringing, looping back to the menu, and fuzzy hold music.
