Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy

The physical therapists at Ivy Rehab are truly outstanding. They don't just give you one set of exercises and stick with that. They really listen to what you have to say, adjust the exercises accordingly, and then make sure that it is truly addressing your issue. Kayla in particular is fabulous - she is always positive, energetic, and excellent at both physical manipulation/massage and dry needling!

Staff here is amazing, I wouldn't go anywhere else!!!!! Through out my military career, I've been to several Civilian rehab locations in the states and by far this is the best. To them, your rehabilitation is a personal mission of theirs in which they will go the extra mile to ensure you are rehab'd correctly, no matter what it takes. Not all Rehab facilities can stay that and I haven't experienced any that do until i went to Ivy Rehab in Newport News. My journey with them has a year long experience with 3 surgeries on my right shoulder, 2 of which were total replacements.... they were here the whole step of the way to get me back to doing the things I love to do, but most importantly, I've made some new friend's along the way. They have a customer for life!!! Don't waste your time with the others who treat you as a number or like cattle, go to Ivy Rehab in Newport News, you won't regret it.

I don’t know where to begin with my experience at Ivy rehab. I came to Ivy after having long term knee and hip disabilities and having been in PT for almost 3 years prior.

The amount I have progressed and healed so far is astonishing to me. I felt very hopeless with my pain and mobility level with I started here, but the entire team at Ivy has done nothing but motivate, encourage, and push me.

I have had the honor to work with Kayla and Christian. They are both so caring, intelligent, and patient centered. They have given me flexibility, kept me informed on my progress, when brought me into my car plan. I can genuinely say I completely trust them with my health. They are brilliant and passionate with their work. They also have wonderful communication with each other and that translates over to smooth appointments working with both of them.

Martika has also been a very important person during my time here. She takes the time to explain the exercises, help you do them correctly, and really takes the time to get to know her patients. I look forward to seeing her every time I come in.

Grace works the front office and is so well organized, accommodating, when makes you feel so welcome and comfortable when you walk into the office. She’s been able to walk me through insurance and scheduling questions.

If you’re looking for a place to heal, where your concerns will be taken seriously, and you actually look forward to your appointments, this is the place for you.

I’ve had an elbow and wrist replacement, so I’m getting treatment for the wrist right now but not only that I have anxiety that got really bad during my therapy , sometimes I had to miss days & one day I almost had a panic attack they placed me in a room so I could calm down and gave me water and let me do my therapy just so I’d feel comfortable!!!.. Ivy Rehab has helped me so much ! 🥰🥰 when I say ALL THE EMPLOYEES ARE AMAZING! Listening to Kayla I’ve been on the dynasplint for 6 hours a day and my wrist is feeling better than it was before. The therapy treatment is AMAZING 🙌🏾 anyone you see on your appointment will make you feel sooooo good that you wouldn’t need your own treatment at home lol but make sure you do physical therapy at home as well ! When I step into this building all my problems go away I love engaging with the other patients and I love talking with every single employee! I’ve been to a lot of therapy places but this one to me is the BEST hands up and down 💕❤ keep up the great work and keep making your patients feel like they are at home ! I put one of their products for the round of exercises I do !!

Had a great experience rehabing with the outstanding staff at Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy, in Newport News. My surgeon recommended them. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. Helping the individual client meet their goals with positive motivation and encouragement at a pace that's safe and comfortable. Ivy is hands down THE BEST place to rehab and recover. They tailor your plan suite your needs, level of ability, and potential for gains. Everyone from Grace, who checks you in, to the therapists Kayla, Kelly, Jacob and Martika, makes you feel like family and are your biggest supporters in recovery. I have been under Kayla's care for just over a month for TMJ issues. She and all of her team have been nothing but kind and extremely professional. Kayla is amazing at helping figure out what works for you personally and motivating you when that extra step is hard to take. Her team is focused on your wellness and helping set you up for success, from educating you on exercises and getting equipment needed, once you have completed your time with them. I will be sad once I am discharged from their care, but I am so thankful for all of their help!

The staff are amazing! They made me feel comfortable and like I was one of the family. I went from barely being able to move my lower back in the morning to completing weight lifting and exercises I thought I would never be able to do. They were able to set me up with an at-home exercise plan so I can stay in shape. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Amazing technicians of their craft. They really guide you through the work and you definitely feel the change. If you need therapy in the physical sense, this is the place for you.

As I've been working with this team, they have given me a lot of encouragement through my healing. Not only do they commend you when you notice something new in your training and encourage your self advocacy/awareness, they also remind you that healing takes time and patience, which is something we all need to remember.

The members in this facility treat their patients like family. Even when I had some financial issues, they worked with me to still give me the care I need.

Everyone was nice. I have vertigo and the vertigo. Physical therapy was wonderful. I recommend any and everybody who has vertigo and needs to get something done with that to come to Ivy rehab physical therapy. Yes baby thank you thank you thank you.!

I was confident with a bit of hard work and the right Physical Therapist, my lower back pain could be overcome. Thankfully, I found Ivy Rehab Newport News, and no longer have back pain. Each visit and team member were great over the few weeks I was in Rehab. They keep things positive and energetic. Would certainly revisit if needed in the future.

Came here after straining my rotator cuff during a workout. I was really impressed that they were able to fit me in same day! Christian did my eval and I saw Kayla for the rest of my appointments; they were both so nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. I love that Kayla gave me insight on the science behind the exercises as I was doing them!

I've been coming here for TMJ and neck pain after no luck at another local place and it has made such a HUGE difference! The entire staff is fantastic. They are so friendly and make you feel so comfortable. I've been working with Kayla and she explains everything so thoroughly and really makes you feel like she is invested in your treatment.
