Adorable Cafe with rustic seating that makes a cozy environment. Super pleasant first thing in the morning. The white chocolate mocha is smooth and awesome! Fresh bagels available and to die for low fat muffins! A definite try for a breakfast or lunch date, or just quietly reading a book for one!

We were looking for a new lunch spot to check out on a rainy afternoon and Uptowner Cafe did not disappoint! It’s a small space with a homey feel and very quick service. Everything was ready in just a few minutes. We loved our sandwiches - no frills and just downright good. My latte was also delicious. Pricing is decent for the area. We will be back!

Laid back atmosphere. I went twice in one day. Love their pumpkin latte and delicious pumpkin muffin.

I went back for quick lunch later. Turkey sandwich and strawberry bubble tea.

An amazing gem, I was there late morning on a Sunday and had one of the best cappuccinos ever, the milk is phenomenal. The ambiance is cozy.

Charming cafe in uptown, a welcome respite from the crowds on the waterfront. A warm, cozy interior delights with a lived in elegance. The lovely couple who runs the cafe are courteous, affable and deliver speedy service. It was our first time here but it will not be our last.

Yummy. And fast. I liked the bagel with lox. The breakfast croissant, and the BLT. I’ll be ordering from here again!

I got an iced coffee, black before a meeting and the coffee was rich and full-bodied while not being too bitter. Very delicious. I also found the staff to be very pleasant and efficient. 10/10

Friendliest staff ever! Went twice while visiting DC and they had already learned our faces. Cozy little shop with great ambiance and decorations. Excellent sandwiches and coffee, and a great way to start a long day of walking and sightseeing.

Excellent coffee and delicious food, the fruit dishes are always fresh and sweet, fresh squeezed orange was delicious, and great service. This is always our go to place for breakfast when we visit Alexandria,VA

Very tasty breakfast on the way to work for a good price. I do like my mocha a little sweeter than they make it, but it was still good nonetheless! The sandwiches here are really amazing!

This place is right next to my hotel. I went in for lunch. Was very good! I had a hot sandwich and the soup of the day(The Washington Street and chicken noodle soup).

I had a very delicious lox bagel and an iced white chocolate mocha. It was great! I’m a bit on the tall side, so some of their tables are a bit small, but service was excellent and it was a calm and chill atmosphere.

Perfect little neighborhood cafe, friendly owners. No bells and whistles, just a good spot for a quick coffee and breakfast (or lunch) with some indoor and outdoor seating if you aren't taking it to go. They even have bubble tea.
