Neighborhood Pharmacy-Del Ray

I moved to Del Ray a few months ago, and I was desperately looking for a pharmacy to fill my prescription. No luck at the big chain pharmacies because of a national shortage. I called here and was so relieved that they had it. The second time I went in for a prescription for a self-injection. I had never done one before and was really nervous to do it by myself, so I asked if someone could show me. Stacey was so kind while guiding me through it, and I’ve been coming back ever since. The staff at NP are amazing and attentive, and I highly recommend choosing local!

I don't have a lot of prescription needs, but whenever I do go in to Neighborhood Pharmacy, I am greeted name, which is amazing. They help with costs by applying coupons which I would not know about, and treat me like a valued customer. Even though I moved "across the river", I still use NP as my primary pharmacy. I've never had such great service anywhere else.

Unlike the chain pharmacies, they care about you. You can always speak to a human who is helpful. They are so worth traveling a bit farther.

As the name implies, there is a nice personal, neighborhood feel to this pharmacy. Very friendly and helpful service. Infinitely better than going to a CVS or grocery store pharmacy.

I can’t say enough great things about Stacey and her team - I never thought my pharmacy would be like the “Cheers” bar, but when you’re a client here, that’s what you can expect! Staff are super friendly, helpful and they’ll go out of their way to even help you save $$.

I can't say enough good things about Stacy and Neighborhood Pharmacy. After having my prescriptions botched or billed incorrectly or etc, etc at multiple chain pharmacies, I came here. Oh, what an amazing change! Stacy would solve problems for me before I even realized they'd arisen. She was able to verify my insurance info before I even came in the first time. Recognized me on the phone and knew all medications I was using just from memory. They're the absolute best.

- the staff were super friendly, had good attitudes, and were professional.

- nice feeling atmosphere right when you walk in.

- went for a covid vaccine and was super nervous, the lady that did my injection was super nice and was good at dealing with people with anxiety. Honestly probably couldn't of have went to a better place to get it.

- I normally go to the pharmacy down the street from me, but after my visit here I'm switching to this one for the remainder of my time in the area even know it's a 20minute drive more from me.

- place was clean and organized.

- parking wasn't too hard to find.

- definitely will be going back for all my needs here in the future.

Yes, the name is 'Neighborhood pharmacy', but we call it 'Stacy's. We wouldn't go anywhere else for our prescriptions. Stacy and her staff are great at answering questions. She even noticed a conflict with my meds before filling the order and called the doctor back to get an alternative. The staff are also great at advice for over the counter needs. Even have hours on Saturday and Sunday. (Dog friendly - there is a scale if you need to weigh your pup, and they give out dog treats.)

Stacy and the ladies are absolutely outstanding!!!! It has been a long time since I encountered a business so focused on customer service like Stacy and her team at the Pharmacy. They always greet you by name and take the time to answer any and all questions. Plus they are great with my dog too! I am really thankful for finding such an outstanding pharmacy as the Neighborhood Pharmacy of Del Ray. I will not go back to the chain pharmacies because Stacy and her crew are so much better!

Stacy and her team are professional, thoughtful, caring and fun. This type of place simply doesn't exist anymore....except in Del Ray. They know their customers and what their needs are. They know the names of their kids and dogs and make every effort to take care of the community and keep everyone healthy. And they've done it with a smile during a pandemic. There isn't a better place to support.

The pharmacists and associates at this location are friendly & went out of their way to ensure my move to the area went smoothly. We always try to shop small; that includes pharmacy & they do not disappoint.

These people are amazing! The owners are the friendliest people I've met. For a local business this place knows customer service and they serve the customer so well. I'd start ditching chain stores like CVS, walgreens and what not and come here. You get the same medicines with 10x greater service. These people care about you and are great to do business with!

We are so lucky they opened in the neighborhood! Completely agree with others regarding how friendly and helpful they are. Not only do they take great care of the people in our home, they take care of the dogs too (and know them by name). I can't imagine ever going back to a chain pharmacy!

My primary pharmacy now is The Neighborhood Pharmacy of Del Ray! They are friendly, welcoming, and truly get to know you on a first name basis. They special order certain medications and are always prompt in filling prescriptions. I used to go to big chain pharmacies like Costco, CVS, Rite Aid, etc. However, the service was always mediocre and impersonal. The ONLY time I go to a chain is if an emergency medication is necessary and it is after hours (24 hour pharmacies). This pharmacy is so kind, welcoming, friendly, and they are always on top of things (medication info, interactions, etc.). They are even like friends to me now! Highly recommended!

I love this pharmacy. They are so accommodating and know their clients when they walk in the door. I also had a bad relationship with CVS pharmacy and these guys broke up with them for me! Highly recommend this pharmacy. The staff is friendly and extremely competent in their business practices.

We love Del Ray pharmacy. I recently had to pick up antibiotics for my son. I called and told them I had three kids in the car and they ran the prescription out to me in the back lot. Wonderful people.

It’s so nice to have a local pharmacy in town with friendly and helpful staff. They usually have what I’m looking for and it’s easy to get prescriptions filled here, too. My go-to pharmacy.

I wholeheartedly agree with other customers!!! When you arise today, ditch CVS, Walgreen's, Rite-Aid and watch your life change for the better when you join the Neighborhood Pharmacy cavalcade!!! Sick of dealing with the impersonal, inefficient, alienating environment at CVS, I took the plunge 3 weeks ago and have so enjoyed dealing with the friendly, empathetic unique folks at Neighborhood. Almost immediately, they knew my name and my various ailments. They are astonishingly proactive, energetic and downright human. It's like you took a time capsule back to the days of Marcus Welby, the Waltons, and Father Knows best!! Just sit and listen to the conversations about customers'' weddings, babies, and dogs. Does thiis ever happen at big box drugstores?? Plus these folks are adept at dealing with Medicare, CareFirst, and Aetna. They are determined to get you the drugs you need today and the prices are no higher than the big competitors.

I so wish that we could go back to a world where all businesses oprated like these caretakers. It is so unlikely, bu this gives me a glimmer fo hope.

Particular kudos to Stacy, who runs the show like a maestro and offers excellent adcice and laughs at my jokes. Also to Natalie, who works as hard as any pharmacy staffer I have ever encountered.

Everyone who works there is so nice and they always go the extra mile to ensure your prescription is filled as fast as possible. Sometimes there can be a bit of a line on the weekend, so be prepared to wait. They even have Sunday hours, which is awesome.
