The Dr is very knowledgeable and does a good job. Today was just a cleaning, but I have had an extraction and it was quick and less pain than I'd anticipated. This dentist is amazing. I highly recommend this practice!!

My schedule is packed each day. I appreciate when businesses recognize the value of time management. Phan Family Dentistry is among the best. I walked in for a short-notice visit due to tooth pain. I was seen promptly and they minimized the paperwork down to the essentials. I was in and out in record time with a referral, a supplemental insurance form they anticipated I'd need (that they pre-filled!), streamlined instructions for next steps, and no hassle with/waiting for insurance paperwork. This team is fantastic. I will be making them my primary dentist.

I took my 5 year old son due to him complaining of a tooth ache the night prior. They were able to give me a same appointment and they also had a a hygienist (I think that’s what her profession was) who spoke Spanish and was able to be with my son who primarily speaks Spanish. They were very friendly my son felt comfortable with the doctor and sat in the hair while he got a regular cleaning without a problem. Very friendly staff and they were very accommodating. Highly recommend this dentist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Phan since the beginning when she opened her practice. I find her and her staff to be professional, comfortable, and delightful to work with. Like most "normal" people, I hate going to the dentist for other than teeth cleaning, but Dr. Phan has performed root canals and extraction and has made both bridges and crowns for me. Although some of the procedures made me feel less than joyful when I left the office, they were warranted. They are punctual and efficient, with never a wait period. I feel like Dr. Phan and her staff are family. Even though I live minutes away from her Kingstowne office, I prefer going to the Martha Custis location for the reasons I cited above. I have and would continue to highly recommend Dr. Phan to my friends. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest, I would give this family dentistry office a 12.

I arrive to my appointment today early eager to have a painful chipped tooth fixed. Turns out I had gotten the day of the appointment wrong. Each member of their team was genuinely considerate kind and above all professional. They manage to squeeze me: Provided me with the teeth cleaning ,x-rays, and repaired a cracked tooth and they did it all without forgetting the Novocain. Superior dental care by any standards and especially so considering I accidentally showed up on the wrong day. I have been a loyal client and their for many years that has only become a more solidified fact after today experience. The dental assistant is very reassuring and attentive and then dentist has competent clever hands, and above all Trish the receptionist keeps the whole show running smoothly. Their Stength They each possess complement the others well.

Dr Phan and her assistant worked quickly and thoroghly and were both very nice & warm & made me feel comfortable as I’m a bit anxious at the dentist. I believe she has her patients best interest in mind always, and she’s a great dentist. She was honest with me and helped me save a lot of money on my crown, which I very much appreciate! I’m so happy I found her.

I arrived for my 6 month check up, was greeted by the receptionist and ushered into the dentist's chair almost immediately. The hygienist did a very thorough cleaning of my teeth and Dr. Phan followed with her exam. All was very timely and efficient.

I recently had a filling done at that office from a chipped tooth. I was very nervous about going into the office because I had never had a filling and I was worried about comestic repairs and cost for my chipped tooth; the front desk receptionist was very kind, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions about the procedure and cost before I went it. The procedure was painless and was quick. I was astonished at the end result. It looked as if nothing ever happened. I highly recommend this office for any dental needs.

First and foremost I never been to a dentist a day in my life until I finally built some courage to go and this place was recommend by many people I knew and customers I worked on (I'm a nail Technician) this place made me feel at home. Everyone I spoke to made me feel very welcome ! I will definitely recommend going here 120% to anyone who needs a new dentist office! Thank you I will be coming back soon for sure!

Hello i had not seen a dentist in quite some time when i came into the Dr's office i was sort afraid but the dr and his staff set me at ease. The receptionist and the assistant helped me stay calm. Now was there pain no but a little discomfort. But all in all a pleasant experience. I would recommend this Dr.

Choosing a dentist is hard when all you know about their office is its location. I blindly picked this dentist's office due to its proximity to my work. I'm happy to say that it worked out well. Trish, at the front desk, is exceptionally helpful and the hygienist was kind and patient. Dr. Doa was knowledgeable and thorough and that's all I want from a dentist and a dentist's office. The office is not fancy nor spacious, so if you need that kind of thing, you've been warned.

Been to the super expensive dental practice and it just wasn’t a pleasant experience and I’m a gal who actually enjoys going to the dentist! Trish, your initial contact with the practice is friendly, genuine and really is a bulldog when dealing with insurance. I did not know until last night that in the almost 2 years of patronizing this practice she had been dealing with my insurance company who hadn’t paid anything. Her tenacity paid off and my dentist finally got paid. Myra is the hygienist who preps you for treatment and assists the dentist. She is warm, engaging and professional. Dr. Dah is the dentist I see and I just love him. At this practice the dentists actually clean your teeth and perform the treatments. He is thorough, precise and gets the job done. Is this a high end practice with all the unnecessary bells and whistles? No. No tv’s in every room. There’s not 15 hygienists and treatment rooms. There’s not 6 receptionists full time and 3 office managers. This is a full service, caring dental office, that after one visit will know who you are when calling in. I highly recommend Phan Family Dentistry and have referred 3 others too as well.❤❤❤❤❤

Phan Family Dentistry has always provided me with caring, careful and very professional treatment. I've never felt like I was being "sold" unnecessary treatment, and Trish, who handles the office, is friendly & efficient. I'm never kept waiting more than five minutes.

These guys are awesome. Had a very quick turnaround for a check-in and cleaning and they did a fantastic job. Very small, family-run shop and great dentist.

I really like this dentist office. I've been for 4-5 visits, two of them root canals. It's nearby and easy to find parking, there's rarely if ever a wait, and the office seems like it's generally well run. Dr. Phan has a thick Vietnamese accent, but it's not too hard to understand. The lab tech has a Spanish accent and seems to work really well with Dr. Phan. Together they are very professional and have a good 'bedside manner' in that they make me feel as comfortable as I could be while having a root canal. I'm not sure about price -- it seems like its expensive. The front-desk receptionist was really good and helped work with my insurance though. It still seems like I have a hefty bill at the end of the session, but I have little frame of reference for dental prices

Updating from four to FIVE stars after being a patient for 7 years. I've never had major dental work done, but Dr Phan has always been exceptionally professional, reliable and has provided the highest quality service. UPDATE after 11 years: I'm still a satisfied patient! Very low, if any, staff turnover makes this dentist office a pleasure. Professional, efficient, friendly, high quality care. Can't ask for better.

Have just started with this clinic as part of Aetna HMO dental plan. Location is very convenient with lots of nearby parking. I and my child were seen on time for the appointments with what we needed done completed.

I always go in on Saturday’s so I don’t have to get a sitter or take time off work. I thought my husband would be available to watch our 2 year old, but he had to go in to work. So I brought him with me and the receptionist colored with him in the lobby! I’m also 34 weeks pregnant and fainted in the chair and woke up to the Dr rubbing my hands and peeling me a tangerine 😊

These people CARE! And they do a great job!
