Jeffrey B Harris, DO

Dr. Harris is an amazing doctor. Very personable and professional. He gets to the core of what is going on and can explain why and how to remedy or fix the issue. He also gives you an opportunity to ask questions and options, most of the time several ways to handle what is happening with your health. He very intuitive and can can just look at you and know what and how you are feeling. I have been a patient of his for 3 or 4 years now and drive from downtown Newport News to see him in Yorktown even though he has an office in Newport New, because I like the entire staff and practice. All of the staff there are very kind and considerate.

Dr. Harris has been my PCP for the last three years. He has great bedside manner, attentive, compassionate, and knowledgable. He spends time with you and doesn't rush out of the room. I trust him with my medical care and my family's. 5 stars all around.

Dr. Harris and his entire team is amazing! My mother doesn't speak English well so I was present as interpreter, however they all took time to "speak" and "listen" to my mother. I helped my mom a little but overall they understood each other. That tells me their compassionate in caring and patient centeredness. My mother is super happy with their care!!! As always, thank you for taking care of my mother!

I had the same doctor from when I was born until I moved away from San Diego at the age of 21. It was really difficult finding another doctor that I was comfortable with and felt really matched my needs and cared deeply about my health - not just my weight.

Dr. Harris has been nothing but kind, understanding, thorough, and caring. He has honestly and truly cared about my health, not just my weight. He has met with me about everything from fertility to weird dry skin issues to my mental health. Every single time, he has gone through everything with me so that I understood.

He prefers to use medication as a last resort, which I deeply appreciate, but knows when it’s a must and is supportive of whatever ends up helping the most in a healthy and responsible way.

I can not recommend him enough. He honest and truly had a hand in saving my life and I will be forever grateful for that.

My husband was able to see Dr. Harris the same day we called for a condition that had kept him up all night. A great relief. Dr.Harris is outstanding, and so is this exceptional office-- considerate, efficient, and not overscheduled. All you hope to have for medical care. Can't rate them highly enough.

Dr Harris is first class as have all of the Doc's I've seen in this practice since I started seeing them in 1964 in downtown Yorktowne. My family of five children and my wife started with Dr Bailey. I would recommend Dr Harris to anyone. I haven't been to any of the other Docs but wouldn't hesitate to go.

During my visits (routine and non-routine) the past couple of years, Dr. Harris has always been friendly, thorough, caring and precise with his evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and follow-on care. Recently, his alertness about an issue I was having and trying to dismiss as nothing serious, resulted in an immediate referral and follow-on care, including successful surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Harris to anyone looking for a top-rate PCP on the Peninsula.

Doctor Jeffery B Harris has been my doctor for nearly 3 years . He has been very Attentively And concerned about all my health problems. From my very first visit he has made me feel very comfortable talking about all of my illness and concerns and he is vey patient and kind and that includes his nurse Donna and the medical staff .
