Emory Haircutters is very close to Emory (walking distance), you can book appointments online, the staff is extremely friendly, and the service is pretty quick. I get my hair cut by Dennis and I have never been disappointed!

I had an amazing experience cutting here. Super clean facilities, gave me a great recommendation and cut. Very experienced barbers. Neck shave was amazing too with the warm towel rub.

I just happened upon this Barber Shop after seeing the sign on Clairmont. I've been frequenting barber shops for 25 years and needed a new one after I moved. From the moment I walked in, Mark was responsive and let me know that one customer was ahead of me and the approximate wait time. He had great interaction with the customer before me and continued this service with me. The haircut was fantastic as he paid great attention to detail and wanted to make sure that I was satisfied before I even left the chair. Conversation flowed easily and it felt as if I was talking with someone I had known for a long time. I couldn't be happier with the result and look forward to returning here for all future cuts.

If you prefer quality over quantity then this is definitely the place for you. Definitely 5 stars!

Tried this place out after moving to Atlanta and reading the reviews and have been coming back ever since. Mark, the owner, is phenomenal - all the other praise reviews are true - he really pays attention to detail and genuinely cares about giving QUALITY haircuts. What some of the other reviews neglect is that, yes, Mark is awesome, but so are his other hair cutters. My first time here, I had a newer employee and when she needed a little help, Mark took the time to come over and really explain and help train/educate her and made a good haircut great! Since then I've also had a couple others besides Mark, but they've all been fantastic. I can't say enough good things about this place and on top of everything... it's only $17! Incredible.

I have been going to John for my haircuts for well over a decade and never a bad cut. Great to see him with his own space and doing things the way he wants. A low key, high quality men's barber shop! Be sure to make your appointment as they are usually too busy for walk-ins.

Emory Haircutters is one of the best barber shops in the Southeast, and boasts some of the most capable and skilled barbers in the business. The shop itself is perfectly appointed with ample parking. All of the tools and supplies, from the clippers to the shampoo, are top quality. And most important of all, the barbers are capable, dependable, and knowledgeable.

My barber, Dennis, combines the best traits of any barber. He's talkative if you wish to chat or quiet if not. He can replicate exactly the style you want or he can give suggestions based on his years of experience. And best of all, he is trustworthy and creative, treating each client like a friend worthy of the best possible service.

To illustrate how much I trust Dennis, when I got married, Dennis handled my haircut and the haircuts of several people in my wedding party and guests as well. He did an incredible job, as always.

Dennis shears is amazing and did the job with utmost precision. I just showed him the picture of a cut i needed only once and he did it exactly that. I would go here again. Great value for money and the hot towel massage after a neck shave is worth the buck.

Mark is easy to talk to and always provides a great cut. The price is just slightly higher than Great Clips or Supercuts, but I never have to do touch-ups at home afterwards. I also never feel like I have to wait a week after I get it cut for my hair to look or feel right. The service you are getting is a deal at this price.

Mark is a great barber. Every haircut I've received from him has been top notch and I really appreciate the consistency and quality. He's very precise and he's a very genial gentleman which makes the process all the more pleasant.

John Bond simply is the best. We’ve followed him through various locations over the past 12 years. And finally he’s got his own shop. Congratulations!! If you seek meticulous service, calm presence, attention to detail, world class technique with razor, scissors, blades, quality hair products, John and Mark offer all of that for a fair price. Excellent hair cut. Mark does a great job listening to you and working with you to make you look good. He knows his stuff. I've officially changed barbers because of Mark. Come support this excellent barber shop near Emory and Decatur!

I went to this shop based on the reviews from Yelp and Goggle+ that recommended the high degree of personal service, and I was impressed. Mark took the time to make sure he understood what I wanted and stopped at several points along the way to make sure he was following my directions.
While I was there, a few other people came in, and he addressed them and gave them approximate wait times, but he didn't hurry my cut, which made me feel valued as a client/customer.
The haircut was great and the price is less than many other places around Decatur.
The only caveat is that he is a sole operator, so you might have to wait if someone else is ahead of you, but when it's your turn in the chair, you'll be glad that you are getting the undivided attention you deserve. I would recommend he add free WIFI to help with any wait times.
Give this place a shot, and I think you'll be impressed.

Fantastic barber. Takes his time to really know your hair, be precise and figure out how best to cut/style your hair. Loved my short new haircut from him. Super friendly and well priced. I would recommend Mark to anyone.

Truly a GREAT haircut experience. The shop is new, the owner is a very talented barber, and he makes you feel like an old friend from the moment you sit in the chair. I decided to go based on the recommendation of someone who had his hair cut there. I could not have been more HAPPY I decided to get my haircut at Emory Haircutters. The cut is even, textured, and polished all the way around. Please GO and see for yourself (we need a good barber shop in the area that is not a repository for those who merely think they can cut hair). I am VERY PICKY and do not generally write reviews, but this fantastic haircut warrants one. So, 5 stars from me.

A great men's haircut/barbershop, no issue of suffering the smell of hair dye it other chemicals. Quiet, low key, simple, with a focus in friendly casual conversation during a great cut. Can't recommend John enough! Good parking but can be a challenge to get into and out of the location.

Needed a haircut and stopped in on impulse. Mark does a great job! Showed him a picture of the style i was thinking about. He was able to make it look great and unique for me. He's very focused on getting your hair to looking way you want it. So glad I found this place.

I've now been here two times. Hesitant about trying a new barber, the first time I walked in, I said "lets see what you got, no instruction just make me look good" and sure enough I walked out with something I'd never had before and really liked it! The next visit wasn't even for me. My dad came in town from another state, but badly needed a haircut, and the same thing "Make him look good again!" HE DID GREAT! Not only was my father impressed, but I was again!

Every time I come in, I am greeted by my first name, he remembers who I am, what I do, my hobbies and I actually enjoy speaking with him. I will continue to recommend this Barber Shop to all of my friends and strangers because I believe he does the best work around.

I just had my 2nd cut, and sure enough... killed it again!

IF you are questioning whether or not to go here, I say YES, 100% of the time.
