Great airport overall. Easy to navigate and fairly efficient to move around in due to the train. Definitely, definitely take the train unless you're just a glutton for punishment or training for a marathon. Ensure you have reasonable time for connections and layovers because this airport is huge. It's very clean and the staff is generally very friendly and helpful. Lots of good food and fancy drink options all through the terminals.

This is one busy airport. This is a hub for a few airlines. This airport is so large the tram is need to get to baggage claim. You can walk but that is long walk. There is a lot of eateries within the airport. The is a lot of history and sculptures. If you have the time enjoy the history that is displayed in this airport. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Drop off is a hot mess right now with all the construction that limits the amount of lanes that are open. Security was fast and easy even with a mass of people traveling. The facility is clean and welcoming. I personally love waking to the terminal vs taking the train.

Nice Airport, extremely crowded but employees got it under control. Hartsfield-Jackson has been the world's busiest airport by passenger traffic. In 2022, the airport had over 93.6 million passengers, the most of any airport in the world.(wiki)

I recently had the pleasure of traveling through the Atlanta airport and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the cleanliness and efficiency of the facility. The staff were friendly and helpful, directing me to my gate with ease.

The shuttle drivers provide outstanding customer service, offering a quick and efficient way to navigate in and out of the area while bypassing traffic congestion. Their prompt and courteous service significantly enhances the travel experience.

By far, the best large airport around. East access with the Marta transit System, TSA was fast and smooth. The prices at the restaurants and vending machines was very reasonable. Boarding was quick, and we departed and landed ahead of schedule.

This is a big airport
Be sure to put on some comfortable walking shoes.

If this is your first time I suggest getting there early because of the long security lines.

Be familiar with the map and where you need to go is another good suggestion.

They do have some decent shops and restaurants, just not on every concourse so I would also shop that around.

Quick walk. Good pricing if you book rarely. Long lines for most rental car companies. They need the self automated system kiosks. Overall, good experience. Ask for free upgrade. It doesn’t hurt to try. We got one by asking.

Amazing service and process to pick up the car and return. Getting to and from the airport is very easy with the train. This is all new to me. Loved it! I used Avis.

Hartsfield Airport in Atlanta is number one. All staff are polite,helpful and go out of their way to meet your needs. Juan Medina in baggage claims was off but still helped me with my baggage needs. Security guards help me find restrooms 🚻 and bus for hotel pickup. Best food courts and trains to move you around. Earlier at LAX airport had to walk 5 plus miles, no good foods, and no one cares to help. Everyone there too busy to even ask can i help you. Very rude when boarding plane to Atlanta.

Largest airport by passenger traffic. Located in the south side of Atlanta and well connected by I-75, I-85, I-285 and more roads. Plenty of parking. Great airport with wonderful amenities. Give plenty of time to park & get to the airport, security check and to get to your gate. Most terminals have plenty of food options but please check the terminal map if you are looking for any particular kind of food or have any restrictions.

Always a good experience and this time was no exception. Plane was slightly late, but the luggage was there when I got up there to get it. Staff was nice and eateries were delicious!

I love the Atlanta airport. Honestly they have so many art displays and lots of information on the history of African Americans in this country. I almost look at it like a black history museum that you can explore while waiting for your flight. But you can spend at least two to three hours waiting to get through TSA.

Very trendy super efficient airport. Plenty of clean bathroom options including larger bathrooms outside arrival gates and other pertinent areas. Shopping choices are plentiful and a good variety at the duty free. Clean, and plenty of support for kiosks and keeping traffic moving for pickup drop-off.

I was so impressed by the TSA check this morning! I didn’t wait in line for more than 10 minutes. There were plenty of staff, and everyone I talked to was kind.

Pretty big airport that requires plenty of walking. A train that connects terminals help but you'll still need to wal to train. The week I was here, the elevators were all broken except for the T terminal so you had to go there to use the elevator.
