Went on a weekend and it was an amazing experience. Getting to see what fire trucks were like back in the days, as well as the structure of buildings. Loved each of MLK’s important quotes being written on the wall as you walk down the waterway. I don’t remember buying tickets in advance, but it’s always good to be proactive. I gained a lot of insight and knowledge from this visit, more than some of the books told us to be honest.

Simply amazing.
Weekend trip w/ the minions. So much to learn and absorb- I knew the man but his wife just as incredible, I’d not known just how much! ❤❤BHM’2024. Please visit for yourselves.

Absolutely loved this experience. I hadn't been since the exhibit was complete but am so happy to have the experience. Wonderful job Atlanta!! It would be nice if the home tours started a little earlier but this exhibit is a must see. I'd say do this over the Civil Rights Museum. At least this paints a positive picture of the happenings of the times. If we are going to tell the story...tell it right or tell it right. Those that have gone to both will understand what I mean. Thank you to this center for being beautiful. Thumbs up👍🏽!

So glad we stopped in to visit this site. It's a somber and informative place to learn more about the greatest civil rights leader in history and pay your respects. If you haven't visited and are interested in this topic, it's a must. Thanks to the staff for keeping it beautiful and operating well.

This historical museum is a must visit! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this museum as a MUST SEE!! Coming here and walking through each of the exhibits is eye opening. To hear the recording of the people from that time area speak about their experiences is educational. To see all of the items in this museum is amazing. Seeing the items from Rosa Park and Mahna Gandhi is amazing as well. You can spend hours here. There was some preservation being done to the waterfall, so one side of the museum was not accessible. Ebenezer Baptist Church was open to the public on a schedule. Parking is free a cross the street. Entry into the church and museum is free. I’m thankful to have visited this museum.

We flew to Atlanta for a short 2 day date trip with no expectations. Only after we booked our trip, did we do some research and discovered Martin Luther King Jr's grave site and national park was there. We went with no expectations and I would have to say, it is a must see for anyone who goes there. The history and experience will knock your socks off. I am a history buff, but learned so much. He is buried next to his wife approximately 1 block from where he was born and next to the church he served as an associate pastor.

Please, if you are in the area, do yourself a favor and spend a couple hours here.

Beautiful memorial park, maybe the best I've been to. In nearly 25 yrs of visiting Atlanta, I don't know how it has taken me so long to make it here. As unable to visit the house or Ebenezer Baptist because I did no advance prep work to find out tour times & get tickets, so I only did the self-guided tour.

Visiting the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park was a profound experience. The reflecting pool and eternal flame at Dr. King's tomb were incredibly moving. The visitor center provided a wealth of information about Dr. King's life and the civil rights era. The staff were knowledgeable and passionate about sharing the park's significance. I left with a renewed appreciation for Dr. King's contributions to equality and justice.

Beautiful place to learn more about the impact of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Mrs Coretta Scott King. It was so important for our kids to learn more about the history of our country, segregation, and the impact of the past on our future.

Tremendously insightful visit with a much deeper emotional impact than I could’ve imagined. Honored to have had glimpses into the life of MLK for my own personal education, to some extent, of his inspirations and dreams.

This is a great homage to a great man. The defender of human rights’ place of birth and where he spend most of his life. A common man with a genius mind. It made me think about how ignorant and small minded are most people who dare to treat their own differently just for their color, religion or gender.

We need a lot more people like him in our crazy world.

Such an amazing place, was glad I made it there on my trip. Very well put together, he would be proud n grateful. The love felt for him in the preservation of his things can be felt along with the pain and hurt that comes with this part of history.
Facilities were clean and staff were lovely 😊 would love to go back, didn't get to go inside MLK's home as we weren't informed initially that we needed a ticket from main office (free) to entre; with the kids we couldn't make it back to office then back to the house ☹
3 gift shops reasonably priced with ample quality of items to purchase. My favourite place was the the waters MLK and Mrs King laid rest 🫠 an amazing feeling comes over you when standing there. A wonderful day! 🥰

This is a very inspiring and emotional place. I was in tears twice. First while watching the movie. Second, looking at the carrier that carried the MLK dead body from Memphis to Atlanta.

We have come so far in the journey, but so much has changed since. Every visitor to Atlanta or Georgia must have the opportunity to visit the place. Google maps takes you to the wrong place, and it may feel out of normal memorials, but it's there nearby, parking is free and not very crowded.

For my little daughter it was good learning and for us a family too.

First time in Atlanta and it was for a business trip. My best friend knows I create black history trivia [under my nonprofit - Black Cards Of History] so this was the first place he took after I got off the Greyhound. I'm so thankful of seeing this place and the scenery, events, short film, and so much more about MLK.

All I can say is GO! What an experience. I visited the church, eternal flame and went inside to the museum itself. I can't believe this is where MLK is buried alongside his wife, Coretta. This place, this whole road has such a rich a history to it. Being in the church was something I'll always remember, that's the place where many things happened and many words were spoken. I would go and will go again when in Atlanta, next.

It's an excellent memorial and museum. It definitely worth the visit. Takes 1-2h. King is one of the most inspiring leaders ever.
