Mezza Luna Pasta & Seafood

Amazing new owner/chef alert!! So excited this local restaurant got an upgrade! After the most delicious lunch with attentive service I was so impressed with their improvements I scheduled our company's office Christmas party there, and it was perfect. Pleased even the pickiest foodies! The family style set up for out team was authentically superb and did not skimp on the portions, the service was over the top perfect and accommodating for anything we needed, and the atmosphere is classic, intimate and relaxing for any lunch, dinner, or event! So impressed, I can't wait to go back!

This place is truly a gem, and I can’t believe I’ve driven by it for so long. My wife & I found Mezza Luna while swiping through restaurant options and decided to give it a try. It was a great decision! We started off with the octopus salad, which was great. The octopus was very tender and had an amazing flavor. We started with the Fettucine Alla Pescatora and the Tortellini Alla Romagnola. Both dishes were mind blowing….great flavor notes and well balanced. The tortellini was very rich and flavorful, hands down definitely something I would order again.

We also had an absolutely amazing waitress, Kim. She was the only person manning the front, along with being the bartender, online order taker, and hostess. She handled the entire room gracefully, and tended to every patron in a timely manner. She was extremely personable and very knowledgeable on the menu items, but most importantly she was honest.

We will definitely come back soon.

As an American living in Italy, I can say this is the best Italian food I've had in the US. It's owned and operated by a lovely couple from southern Italy (Calabria). I brought my parents here, and it was a great experience. My mom can't travel, so to have a little slice of Italy here in Georgia for her to get a taste of authentic Italian food from proper Italians was really special.

I highly recommend the orecchiette pugliese and tiramisù.

So, last night the whole family went to celebrate Mom’s 91st birthday and Mother’s Day and it was a truly a wonderful experience. We started with a Vermintino white. Then, the bartender, Scott, made a lavender cocktail called a gin-tile touch, that was really fun and delicious with a hint, but not too much, lavender. It was one of those drinks that goes by on a tray and you say,”what is that? I want one!” One of the app specials was lobster bisque and it came brimming with lobster. It was a rich, decadent cream soup that was really a meal in itself. My husband had the mozzarella app. Fried tiles of mozzarella that were crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. My sister had the arugula salad. You don’t see that too often and she said it was good, too. For entrees, my mom had the lamb chop special. She got the hugest lamb chops at about 3” thick each. They were cooked perfectly. I had chicken parm, which is about my favorite dish of all time. The chicken was pounded, fried crispy with a lovely blanket of mozz and sauce. The star, though, was the perfect house made spaghetti. Daniele is a real Italian chef with a talent. Zaner was our server, but I have to say, it seemed like they all worked as a team, because service was pretty seamless. A memorable experience.

Everything about Mezza Luna is upscale. They have a robust drink menu and the in-house crafted cuisine is so fresh and full of flavor. We’ve been to Italy and the meals here were just as authentic. Great staff! Great location!

Hands down the best Italian food in and around Atlanta! I came here last night for my birthday, and Kim was our server. She was SO lovely and gave us a top tier experience! The mixologist at the bar made me a custom birthday drink- he came and asked what I do/don’t like in a drink, and then surprised me with a beautiful color changing cocktail that was unbelievably delicious! We had incredible bruschetta for appetizers. For entrees we had chicken parmigiana, lasagna, and the most incredible halibut and shrimp special! All of them were unbelievably good! For dessert, Kim brought out the sweetest birthday dish of cannolis and a chocolate powder “happy birthday” message, and the mixologist brought me a chocolate martini shot that was out of this world.

We sat outside- they set up the cutest outdoor eating area that truly makes you forget you’re in a shopping area in Marietta Georgia.

These lovely people are so passionate about their work and this restaurant, and it shows in every single detail. I will absolutely be coming back and bringing everyone I know!

Everything was absolutely delicious from the bread to the pasta to the cake at the end. The service was lovely and friendly, and the staff were all in genuinely high spirits.

Absolutely worth the price. It's an excellent place for a celebration.

My favorite Italian restaurant.. the chef is phenomenal. Authentic, delicious, everything is great. Nice wine menu, amazing food. Pasta is made from scratch, noodles and all. Cute place with nice ambiance. Chef Daniele has been making my favorite dish for 10 years and it’s the most delicious thing on the planet 😝

This was our first time here and they didn't disappoint!! The atmosphere is very intimate but friendly. Our waitress was really nice and gave some really good recommendations. I can't remember the actual name of my dish but it was a pasta dish with shrimp, calamari, mussels and clams in a white wine sauce. Let me tell you.... this was REAL pasta!! You can immediately tell a difference in texture. This dish was ABSOLUTELY awesome!!! I also had a pomegranate martini with my meal. I highly recommend this place for a nice date night.

One of the most enjoyable Italian restaurants that I’ve visited! The pasta, soup, and bread was delicious. Kim was an absolute gem, a really fantastic server and made our experience great. She went above and beyond from the start. I’ll definitely be coming back!

One of the most authentic Italian cuisine we've had since in Italy. This family takes hospitality to another level. They were trained in culinary in Italy and brought those skills here to the States and you can experience the real deal. We've had many nice Italian meals nearby but the choice in flavors and selections of cheese, meats and pastas made me feel just like I was back in Florence right here in Marietta. Can't wait to go back and try a different dish here. Save room for dessert!

Fantastic family owned restaurant. Our food was delicious and the service was amazing. We shared the appetizer special, which was a burrata prosciutto salad. For our entrees, we had the Tortellini alla Romagnola and Tagliatelle Black Squid Ink Cartoccio. Everything was fresh and the pasta was made from scratch. We ended our meal with limoncello and homemade cannolis. We will definitely be back and highly recommend you make a visit as well!

The food was INCREDIBLE. Our server suggested the octopus salad and it was the best octopus I've ever eaten. The chicken Marsala was delicious as well. Service was great, a little pricey but I loved the small restaurant atmosphere, definitely will be going again.

What a great experience we had here at Mezza Luna. Our server Bella was amazing! The food was fresh, full of flavor, and was plentiful. Mezza Luna is an excellent choice for a date night, a little family gathering, or going solo at the bar and grabbing a drink. We cannot wait to come back for more delicious food and wonderful service!

My husband and I were there yesterday, Nella was our server and she was amazing and friendly. We will be back soon 🙂

Kim was exceptional. The ravioli w/ filet mignon special and fettuccine alla panna were delicious.

Family atmosphere, excellent food and great service make this place top notch.
The appetizers (Bruschetta, Caprese, Burrata cheese) were especially tasty. Fresh ingredients and just right portions left no room for dessert unfortunately. The fettuccini was not the Americanized creamy sauce but a drier cheese sauce. The Branzino was a bit salty at certain bites but with fresh veggies it was great. Spaghetti Romana was really good. Someone in our party had the Lobster Ravioli special and said it was overloaded with seafood besides the yummy ravioli. The only oops moment was when the hostess dropped a menu on the floor then proceed to pick it up and put on top of one of our dishes. 😳

I took 2 years off due to some poor experiences. Allow me to say, they are back on track! My wife and I had an incredible Mothers Day dinner. The chef/owner had his A game on...will return!

Mezza Luna is our go to for Italian! Kim is a fantastic server and extremely attentive. The food is delicious, we have never had a bad meal! I highly recommend you give Mezza Luna a try?

Food AMAZING! Service PHENOMENAL! Atmosphere quaint & cozy. Loved the carpaccio, lasagna, pappardelle bolognese, mussels - truly everything was tasty, well seasoned and fresh.
