I cannot thank Dr. McLean enough for helping my poor cat Diablo. Back in Dec he was attacked while he was outside and needed to have his back leg stapled. Not only was Dr. McLean and his staff attentive but also very reasonably priced. Diablo is back to his normal feisty self (hence the name). Now all of my animals get seen here and they make sure to look at everything, to include bloodwork. To some that might be seen as unnecessary but to me it means that we are looking to make sure there is not something wrong before it is too late. Better to be proactive then reactive, just like our own health and wellness. If you are looking for a Dr. and staff that really care then look no further.

I took my German Shepherd to get checked for his eyes. They took him in right away and took amazing care of him. The office was really clean and such an amazing staff members. I love how they retreated us and give us everything my dog needed to get better. They have very good price as well. I highly recommend them and will keep going into their office.

Our pup had a minor emergency and Dr McClean at Belmont was able to get him in right away. He provided great service and seemed like a compassionate and caring doctor. The office was convenient and clean and the staff all were very warm to us. Would highly recommend.

I'm extremely thankful for Dr. McLean, Ben, Alani & the remaining staff at VetCare @Belmont... They are literal life savers! My Bella had gone to TWO other vets, the first could not perform the procedure and the second wanted more than what I paid for my car for the procedure... (I'm not kidding).... My cat (Bella) had to have her right rear leg removed. I was lucky to have found them, the price was reasonable and no where near what I was previously quoted. They took excellent care of her and just two days from surgery and she is not only walking on three legs, but jumping up and down off my bed! They kept in contact with me the entire time, explained everything thoroughly, discussed all the payment options. They made a stressful situation very comfortable and I will say, although my cat was a great patient, my attitude was .... well less than pleasant... I was concerned for my animal, under a financial burden and honestly upset from the two prior vets. They understood my concerns, provided options and were just probably better to me than I deserved. So I thank you!! And my cat Thanks you!

This place is nothing short of amazing! My Shih Tzu doggie Bella had an ear infection a few weeks ago, & her regular Vet clinic was full & not avail for several days. I was referred here, & they were open & had a slot avail right away! Dr. McClean and his lovely wife were amazing. His bedside manner is very caring and gentle. You can tell he has a genuine love for our furry friends/family members. You will not go wrong giving this New Vet ofc a try. Please give them a chance, you will be a forever customer for sure like us. We love them. Bella does too!

Dr.McLean is the absolute BEST veterinarian I have ever dealt with.
He literally saved my 13 year old Golden Retriever after my other vet wanted to put him down. I will never be able to thank him and his wonderful staff; Brenda, Alani and Ben for all they did for Harley and continue to do with my other 2 goldens, Frankie and Otto.
Any time, day or night and even weekends they are always available. Dr. McLeans emergency after hours number is his personal cell phone. You can reach him by phone or text snd he will always reply. His office hours are amazing too!
The entire staff goes above and beyond. I have never been more pleased with my pets veterinary care and his professional and caring demeanor. He truly loves what he does and it shows.

My cat is a high anxiety, scaredy cat, and she had no problems here. Hamdulilah the staff were nice, informative, and transparent with all pricing, and the space was very clean. We will be coming back!

I love this place! They have given wonderful care to our 10 year old Bella. She had to have major surgery and they walked us through every step of the way. They always called back in a timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone. THANK YOU for giving our Bella a better quality of life ❤

Veterinary Care at Belmont is absolutely heaven sent. My cat Tam had an emergency at the end of last year and the Veterinary Care at Belmont team was the only vet office that was kind, compassionate, caring and patient with me and Tam as it was a super scary situation.

This year my Tam begun to have horrible stomach problems and thanks to Dr. McLean I felt like my fur baby was in good hands.

I can admit I am a very passionate and concerned pet mom, I ask A LOT of questions and need time to make decisions when it comes to my cats health. Dr McLean is SO patient, explains everything to me thoroughly & provides updates on Tam when she's in his care, to ease my spirit.

The front desk staff & staff behind the scenes are also ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. They're kind, patient, knowledgeable and you can tell they truly love animals.

This is the first time in a long time that I've felt safe and comfortable when it comes to dropping my Tam off at a vet and I am SO grateful for the day my mom learned of them.

We’re new in the area and we’re so thankful to have found this vet clinic. Initially, we came here because my dog ate a new food and it didn’t sit well with her. Dr. McLean was so caring and attentive to my dog, Sugar. He prescribed her medications and gave her a shot. It took almost two weeks for her bowels to be normal again.

Then a week later, we came back because Sugar was attacked at the dog park. I called the vet clinic the next day to set an appt and they were ready to help me out. All the staff came in and took care of her. She ended up with 4 staples on her right ear.

Her staples are removed now and she’s healing well! I just want to thank the staff in VeterinaryCare at Belmont for being so friendly, caring, and attentive to my dog and to us. I feel better and relieved knowing I can rely on the staff and the clinic in any situations.

I love the staff and Dr. McClean. Everyone is so attentive and friendly. We are not from Georgia, so we had to find a random vet for our dog’s needs, and I’m thankful I found this place. The doctor listens to your concerns and explains everything in a way you could understand. The Doctor had the best bedside manner. I can’t say enough great things about his practice. Would 100% recommend him to everyone. Thank you for taking care of my sweet Ellie.

My first experience with Belmont was an emergency visit at 8 PM on a Friday. I was hysterical from my dog being injured, with a possible need for an amputation. I cannot praise the staff and medical team at Belmont enough for their patience and elite care of my pup. She has made a full recovery and is healthier than ever! Even though I’ve since moved to Dallas, I will remain loyal to this clinic indefinitely. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough!

I almost never write reviews but Dr. McLean and his staff delivered top notch care to my 14 year old Norwich Terrier (Harley). Dr. McLean answered the phone on a Sunday and was able to see us Monday which was Memorial Day. They performed a thorough exam and found signs of vestibular syndrome (inner ear infection) causing his symptoms. They treated with fluids and antibiotics and even sent us a cute little video to update us on his progress. Harley is home now and well on his way to recovery! Their new office is also located in a beautiful brand new facility, I can’t recommend this caring practice enough! Thank you so much for all that you do for our pets and rescues alike. You have a loyal customer for life.

If I could give this location a 10 U would. My Shih Tzu suffered a fracture in his paw and every other vet immediately stated he needed surgery which would have been well over $5,000 dollars. There was also significant risk with that process as since his bones are smaller there was a high chance of his bones being fractured which could lead to amputation of that paw. I found this location and they were able to put him in cast as opposed to surgery. It was a longer healing healing process but significantly cheaper and no other vet gave me this option they all said he needed surgery. My dog is now fully healed and it's great to see him smiling and running again. They are my new primary vet, feels like a family atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and they try their best to work with you. By far the best vet experience I have had , would highly recommend , thanks again guys!!

Love Belmont Vet they are amazing I have been dealing with them for a few years now. They saved one of cats when he had a urinary obstruction. They just treated my other kitty for Bronchitis. It’s always super clean and they are always very friendly. Finding a good vet can be so stressful I don’t write many reviews but they deserve much more than a 5 star review. From the front desk to everyone in the back thanks for all you guys do keep up the great work !!!

Dr. McLean and his staff truly give their all to provide the best care to your pets with the best service possible. Myself and several of my friends have been taking our dogs and cats to him for years at their old location, and now that they’ve moved into a bigger facility the expeditious, thorough care they have always offered is now even more so. If you have new pets or are looking for a better veterinary option, do yourself a favor and bring them here!

I have been going to dr. McLean for years prior to him moving to this new clinic, and he is always thorough with my dog Remy, and care for her as his own. The staff is nice and always professional, they are truly my family. ☺

I found Dr. McLean when I lived two minutes away from Santa Marietta animal hospital and had an emergency for my newly adopted cat three years ago. On a Saturday night he answered the phone and calmly advised me on what to do for the night then he took her in first thing Sunday morning. I moved away from Marietta Summer of 2019 and have been in East Atlanta since last April so I visited a couple new vets in this time. When my kitten had several random bouts of extreme diarrhea and anxiety last Fall I took her to two different vets in the East Atlanta area. No one could find answers and wanted to charge an arm and a leg up front for any care for her. I emailed a dozen locations in the Atlanta area asking if they had payment plan options or worked with anyone who would help me financially other than Care Credit. Half didn’t respond and half said “no sorry.” I called Dr. McLean’s office at 3am after my kitten had an another episode expecting to get the answering machine. To my surprise, Dr. McLean answered and told me to bring my kitten in first thing in the morning. Then a few weeks ago when I got the same kitten fixed I was concerned with how her incision site looked two days post-op, I called the vet that’s local I’ve taken both kitties to for shots and they just told me to keep her in a cone and it will look gross at first. That answer didn’t satisfy me so I called Dr. McLean’s office and Alani promptly answered the phone asking me multiple questions and requested I send photos. Upon doing that Dr. McLean wanted to see my kitty. Turns out she had a fat hernia. He reassured me that it was a simple procedure and he took great care of my baby. I’m so glad I reached out to him. It may be a 30-45 minute drive from my current location but he’s consistently proven to be thorough, knowledgeable, kind and dependable so I will absolutely make that drive. He eases my anxious kitty mom mind and I always know when I have to leave my babies with him that they’re in great hands. Not to mention Alani has been working there since I started going and she has also always been so kind and informative. Living paycheck to paycheck makes things tough for planning for unexpected vet visits and she informed me of iCare so I didn’t have to worry about coming up with the money up front. My only tiny complaint is email correspondence isn’t always timely. Despite this minor issue, I know that Dr. McLean is a vet that cares and will always go above and beyond to not only take care of your pet but take care of you. This office works long hours and I know they’re working hard during these times. I am so grateful for Veterinary Care at Belmont!

The Dr., as well as the technicians, were informative and professional. They described every step and process with my pet's diagnoses and treatment. They were able to diagnose and treat my fur baby successfully in a timely manner. The Dr. is very experienced and is a gift to pet owners of Smyrna.

Dr. McLean and staff are the best! He thinks outside the box and gave us unexpected quality time with our senior dog who is like our baby! Thank you Dr. McLean, Alani, Kethryn, Brenda, Donna and Ben and all. Y'all are the best!
