My favorite vet! My cat has issues no other vet was able to diagnose. Dr. Holland got to the bottom of it right away. Excellent; I wish I could leave 6 stars!
And, more affordable than the other clinics I’ve dealt with.

I found myself in a serious dilemma on a rainy Saturday morning; my dog was in stage 4 kidney failure when I realized all my attempts to beat the deadly disease or even bring short term relief was of no progress. I sadly came to terms that it was time to let go and say goodbye to my fur- CHILD. My primary vet provided me with 4 days of fluids and a host of medications to get through until he returned from an out of state trip.

I started frantically calling around to local vets, Cobb Emergency being one of them (outrageous people) explaining that I didn't have much money left after spending over $1500 on hospitalization along with take home medication/fluids. I expressed in desperation the need to relieve my dog of any further suffering by having her humanely euthanized.

Feeling hopeless while driving down Austell rd, I noticed a small vet on the side of the road named " Fair Oaks Veterinary Hospital", I thought to myself , "its going to be the same thing like every other hospital I've reached out to," figuring I had nothing to lose, I called. Michelle answered my call and listened to me so attentively, soaking in every detail almost like how a sponge soaks in water. She asked important questions, showed genuine concern. I felt like I was on the phone with a 911 dispatcher. She didn't leave me in limbo; refusing to hang up or call me back, she briefly placed me on hold to get answers and ultimately spoke on my behalf ( a complete stranger to her) to the Dr. and hospital staff allowing me to come in for immediate assistance.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by Michelle at my vehicle and assisted into the front door with my girl. Michelle quickly guided me into a private room bypassing the lobby and front desk/check in. She moved with precision in getting some basic information and getting me checked in. As I was sitting in the room waiting for "what's next", Sam and Kat came in the room. I believe both ladies were technicians, both were very knowledgeable and informative. I actually thought one of the two must have been the doctor. They were kind. They were understanding. They were sympathetic and sensitive to my situation. At some point Sam advised that the doctor would be in shortly to see me. In a matter of 2 to 3 minutes the doctor was knocking at the door.

Dr. Edwards (an angle in disguise) came in and not only consoled me, but she began assessing my dogs condition. I thought the doctor was going to come in with a needle and quickly put my dog down without question or hesitation, considering I was already not paying for the euthanasia. However, that certainly was not the case . Dr. Edwards started to do a full examination of my dog trying to determine if there was any other solution other than to put my girl down. She was patient. She thought things through. She asked more questions. She genuinely wanted a happier outcome for me and my dog. She finally gave me her much needed opinion on what she felt was within the best interest of my dog. Once I agreed with proceeding with the euthanasia, Dr. Edwards explained the entire process in full detail and what to expect. She even went so far to allow me to play some background music ( to comfort me and my dog) while she proceeded with the euthanasia. I held my girl tightly, embracing her as Dr. Edwards spoke gently to her as she simultaneously administered the last act of kindness. My girl peacefully fell asleep in my arms pain free. Thank you Dr. Edwards, Ms. Sam, Ms, Kat, and Ms Michelle!! You women are heaven-sent. What you did for me and Envy will forever be in my heart. I will never forget you ladies. I want to thank you all again for your unmatched compassion and support in one of the most difficult times in my life. I want to thank you all on behalf of Envy for holding her with such delicacy and providing a level of comfort to her that made her transition gracefully and peacefully. Thank you. :-)

I just moved here from Virginia, and I'm happy to say I've found my fur babies new vet! My 11 year old chihuahua needed a dental cleaning, and from scheduling, to the procedure, I was treated so well. Dr. Holland's staff is very upbeat and the entire staff from front desk to the doctor herself treated my pet like she was their own pet. The price was extremely fair, my dog no longer has swamp breath, and I even found out during my dogs visit, that Dr. Holland sees exotic pets like reptiles and small furry animals. I have 2 guinea pigs and a leopard gecko who will come to see Dr. Holland soon!

Dr. Holland has seen my pets for many years now. She is an excellent vet, and even sees exotic pets. She has seen all of my previous rabbits, snakes, rats and currently my ferret and bearded dragon. She also sees my dogs and cat, and my cat isn't nice when he goes but she still treats him amazingly. Her staff is always patient with my animals, and her staff are well trained and educated. My dogs wag their tails the whole time they are there and love going. They give my dogs cheese treats and use small needles for the vaccines, and i have seen her change to a brand new one so its more sanitary and very sharp. I don't have to drag my dogs thru the door like at previous vets. It's always clean and never smells like animals.

Dr. Holland and Samantha were thorough, kind, and caring. They took the time to get to know my hen's health history, thoroughly checked her out, and involved me in the care decisions, even inviting me to look through the microscope to see what was going on. They were kind and sensitive to my hen's comfort and very caring in her treatment. They were patient and went above and beyond to get me everything I needed, including calling me back the following day with additional information and to answer my questions. It was one of the best veterinary experiences I've had.

I’ve brought my pets here for many years. Dr. Holland is a great vet. She also sees exotic pets as well. The pricing is fair and reasonable. There is sometimes a wait but that’s to be expected at a doctor visit. The staff is always knowledgeable and respectful.

Both of my pups come to this vet. I have not had any issues at all. I can say the Dr can be a bit straight to the point and people can take her the wrong way but I know she does not mean any harm. I recommended Fair Oaks to my daughter for my grand pup. She lives all the way in Douglasville and has been taking him here. That is how much I trust Fair Oaks to take care of our pups. I highly recommend!!!

Had my cats seen here. Dr. Holland and her staff were wonderful with them. I would recommend them to all of my friends and family. Prices were reasonable and everyone treated my cats like they were their own pets.

Dr. Teresa Holland (sp?), is a no nonsense vet with a loving and careful group of support staff (Michelle, Joy, Sam, et al). My SO and I have always wanted a vet that loved our pets more than us... they do.

I have been taking my dog Bailey for 3 years to Dr. Holland, and Tandy for a year. Recently, Tandy needed some medical attention and they took Tandy right in. Let me tell you, Dr. Holland is by far the best and her staff is very compassionate and cares for animals. They will always give you a quote up front in writing before any procedures take place and let you ask questions BEFORE ANYTHING IS DONE. I have always loved knowing ahead of time and does not leave any surprises after the pups get care. It leaves you in the captain seat to make a decision as to what you can do and want to do for your pet. I have absolutely loved having Dr. Holland and her staff as part of my family. They are always smiling, and doing their best in spite of knowing they are going through their own personal challenges. The vet does have grooming, and other services. The prices are reasonable, Any time I have ever had and questions about Bailey, all I did was ask, and I am glad to have my new fur baby as part of the Fair Oaks Family. Thank you Dr. Holland and Fair Oaks Staff for caring for my fur babies.

These guys are wonderful. I have many animal that I have brought to different vets. The compassion and the care they gave Daisy was above and beyond. This was just for a spay. From the front desk to the back the staff is kind and professional and I truly see the love they have for animals. There were many vets in between that I would not leave my pet with. The warmth of these guys truly touched my heart ❤. Thank you so much!!!

I have a senior dog (Deuce). He stopped eating and drinking, and teeth was bad. Michelle and Joy the receptionist was so helpful and got him right in that day. Dr. Holland noticed that he noticed one large testicle and sent us home with medicine within a week he was not holding the food down and his testicle had enlarged. Dr Holland did an emergency surgery and neutered and removed his bad teeth and kept him for 2 days to make sure that he was good. I brought back home a new dog. Dr Holland saved my baby and the staff kept me informed and eased my mind. I HIGHLY recommend Fair Oats to anybody that loves their animals. Thank you Fair Oats.I love all of you.

I came to know Dr. Holland by way of a 10 year old cat whose family had had him since he was a kitten that had to re-home him due to a family member's allergies. I have plenty of cats already, but couldn't stand to see him go to a shelter and not be adopted so I welcomed him into our home. When it came time to take him to the vet I learned that Fair Oaks was where he had always gone and Dr. Holland was very familiar with Battle Cat and said she had been caring for him since he was a baby. That right there meant a lot to me. She had been caring for him his whole life and he was in very good health and she knew all about his need for special food because he can get crystals in his urine that could cause him to have accidents. Since learning that he's not had any accidents in our house and we got his weight down which is very good for his overall health and well-being.

Since my experience with Battle has been so good, I've since taken one of my other cats there when she started losing her front teeth without any signs of other trauma. Dr. Holland was very knowledgeable and her and her staff made Teeny Tiny Tabby feel very at ease and Dr. Holland explained every little detail to me and was able to get Teeny's diagnosis under control with proper medication and the teeth that were bad in the back she pulled and the cost was extremely reasonable. We had regular follow up appointments until Dr. Holland felt sure that she was in good shape, but never tried to just get our money. I've read other reviews and I strongly disagree with them.

I even brought my friend's cat that had been hit by a car in to see Dr. Holland and she didn't waste our money with any expensive x-rays or surgeries. She told us that he likely would be able to make a full recovery if kept secluded and limited in activity for a week and sure enough he did! He made 100% recovery and only prescribed the meds necessary for his healing. Needless to say I've told many others to go to Fair Oaks because of Dr. Holland and her staff. Trust me I've been to many clinics over the course of having pets and this is the only one that I've had the best experience with and whose prices are much better than others that don't have nearly the same level of care as Fair Oaks. Remember people are quick to post complaints, but don't bother speaking to Dr. Holland or the staff before expressing their bad review on here.

Fair Oaks Vet Hospital and staff are great! I recently moved to the Marietta, GA area and called a few hospitals and what was the deal maker to me was how nicely I was spoken to on the phone. The receptionists who scheduled my appointment were very attentive and able to answer all my questions and get me price estimates for boarding, grooming and vaccines for my Poodle, Tina. I love that the doctor is so attentive! When I came in for boarding, Dr Holland noticed the beginning of an ear infection, and were able to get me in the right direction for taking care of Tina's ears. When I picked up Tina from boarding, she smelled great, and everyone said she had a nice time at camp! They really care about your pets like family, and I love that about Fair Oaks! The groomer Sam is great! I brought a picture of how Tina gets groomed from my old groomer, and she made it perfect! She even matched her bow color to her collar, which was so cute!

Dr Holland's staff are WONDERFUL! Very professional and kind. Never once have I had a bad experience. I have been bringing my tri-pawed pitbull and cocker here for years. Dr Holland is extremely knowledgeable and careing. She's direct & to the point. (Even hums as she works!) If you need a groomer - LOOK NO MORE! Sam is EXCELLENT! Wouldn't have my cocker groomed anywhere else!

I can not explain how much I greatly appreciate Fair Oaks Veterinary Hospital. Starting with my first call, Michelle allowed me to bring my dog in to be seen for an emergency appointment. When I got there they greeted me and my dog and I was taken to a room immediately. Dr. Holland came in and right away we figured out what was wrong with my puppy. Thank god he went when he did because he had to go into emergency surgery to save his life. And that is exactly what they did, they saved my dogs life. They took such good care of my puppy and I can’t explain how much it means to me to see how much they all cared for my puppy as much as I do. From the front desk staff, doctors, and everyone else who works here THANK YOU!!!!

Dr. Holland is an incredibly caring and pragmatic vet with a wealth of knowledge. She and her team are kind and thorough, ensuring that all possible treatments are considered for your pet. We’ve moved yet still travel 40 minutes across town to see her due to her unparalleled attentive care. Her second opinion is giving our 15 year old cat a new lease on life.

I took my guinea pig in earlier today for Dr. Holland to look her over and I am so glad I did. Dr. Holland is kind, compassionate, and very knowledgeable in the field of veterinary medicine. The staff is also really nice and helpful as well. After my guinea pig was diagnosed with pneumonia, I needed a second opinion about her treatment and chose Dr. Holland. They really give you lots of great information about your animals and their care to give them the best and richest lives possible. They really take up time with you, ask you questions, get to know you and your pet, and they overall really put my mind at ease about my sweet piggie. I highly recommend Dr. Holland and her staff! Thank you all!
