Cafe Efendi Mediterranean Restaurant

We recently took my boyfriend’s parents to eat here for a late afternoon/early supper meal. They love Mediterranean food and we wanted to try a new Mediterranean place so we decided on Cafe Efendi. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful! It looks very elegant but feels casual. It’s a great vibe! We got the small appetizer sampler to start and it was very good! Had 5 different dips to choose from and it came with fresh bread. I always love when a sampler is available so you can try everything! For the main course, I chose to get a side of falafel and the Efendi salad. Both were very good!! The salad was huge and was full of flavor. The falafel was fried to perfection. My boyfriend got the gyro meat platter and it was super good as well! The portion of gyro meat was large and the flavor was amazing. The rice was also 10/10! We really enjoyed our meals here! I’m very happy we stopped in and finally tried it! Definitely recommend for a yum Mediterranean meal!

With family and friends, we had dinner.
First of all, foods are delicious. We ordered Lahmacun and Adana Kebap. Both were delicious. Lahmacun was my favorite.
There are plenty of sitting areas, and the atmosphere is good.

All stuff has a very kind and smily face. Especially Mahmut was really very friendly and kind. We had a good conversation with him

I had an exceptional dining experience at Cafe Efendi! The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was top-notch. The staff's friendliness added a warm touch to the overall atmosphere. I highly recommend visiting this cafe for an unforgettable meal and excellent service.
My favorite food is as always Lahmacun.

Amazing birthday celebration! This one dish fed 8 adults plus 2-3 boxes of left overs. Extra star needed for service. Definitely feel pride of ownership from staff. Fun extra for B-day.

Very good Turkish restaurant option in Atlanta with good service and food quality. We tried lahmacun, adana kebap and steak shish kebap, all was tasty and close to the original tastes in Turkey. Lahmacun was crispy and kebaps were balanced in fat and meat. You can also find Turkish traditional raki and Turkish wine too. Reservations are recommended especially for dinner at the weekend.

Great food. Great dining service. One of the best Mediterranean restaurants in the area. Food came out fast, and staff was quick to clear the table. Amazing experience overall. We would definitely come back!

I love Turkish food and this is the closest I can get to Turkiye in GA. I LOVE their sauced eggplant and Doner Kebab. Today I tried their Artic Samon and enjoyed it equally as much.
I haven't h a d a chance to try their hooka, but it smells good from afar.

It is a great place to hangout with friends. Friendly staff, great selection of music beats that includes a mix of Turkish, American, also played 2 Bollywood tracks. People usually dance near their tables, A belly dancer is also an attraction here. Food is a bit expensive but you are paying for the good times, not just an item on the menu.

Really nice Mediterranean restaurant, also one of the few ones that stay open late in Atlanta. The service is impressive. Portions are decent and they have a long drinks and cocktails menu with a good selection. The Turkish coffee served with a bite of Turkish delight comes highly recommended!

A very nice and lively place. Ambiance is more of a party generation as it’s a bit loud. Keep in mind I have only been there past 9pm so if it’s different during day time I can’t answer 😜
I’ve mostly had appetizers and they are definitely worth trying. On weekends there’s also belly dancer at night so be prepared for some awkwardness :). All in all a good place to impress date or coworkers and there’s all kinds of Mediterranean food from veggie to meat lovers. Forgot to mention they have good selection of hookah and they are open till late.

This place is TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! I get so excited when I find healthy food that actually tastes DELISH!

The restaurant is a VIBE on top of the excellent food- this is my spot going forward! Theres musiv playing really low in the background so it’s not invasive Plus the food comes out pretty fast.

Try the lamb kabob, they are to die for!! I ate mine too fast to take a picture! My daughter loved the lamb chops. The meal is served with delectable red cabbage and white rice. We also shared a Greek salad that was just divine.

Service is just as amazing. Our waiter Mahumad had perfect timing and was very kind and gracious.

What a fantastic place! We had such a blast at this amazing restaurant! It is truly a dinning experience! The atmosphere was so chill and our food was delicious!
The meat just melted on our mouths. We had a party of 7, and still got fantastic service. The belly dancer was so fun & the music they play in there sets the perfect vibe. I highly recommend!

Wonderful Mediterranean food in Alpharetta, maybe in top3. Their ambience, bar counters and seating area were well designed. It’s also one of the few nice restaurants that are open late at night.

I ordered a chicken kebab plate to go, it was packed very well. All the items tasted good. The only qualm I had was with the undercooked chicken. Could be a one off thing but not something you can miss as a restaurant

We celebrated my husbands 40th birthday here and Cafe Efendi went all out to make the night even more special! From decorating the table, to the music, to the food, to the cake, it was such a fabulous night!

UPDATE FROM PREVIOUS REVIEW: I brought my friends over this time as my wife and i had such a good time and it was phenomenal! Drinks, food, hookah, belly dancer, atmosphere! Good times for sure!

I love first time visits to new places. Cafe Efendi did not disappoint. I really enjoyed my entire experience. The wait staff were very informative and had no problem answering any questions we had and making menu suggestions.
We tried some of everything from the sampler appetizer, entrees, dessert, coffee, tea, and hookah (ice lemon mint) is highly suggested.
I would definitely suggest this place for a nice night out with friends. The day time vibe I nice, but I would bet this place really comes alive in the evening.

My first time Mediterranean food eating experience at this stunning venue and on a Saturday night no less. WOW, what a great time to have gone there. Highly recommend and now among my favorites.

We usually come here for hookah, tea and knafeh. Emreh is super nice and welcoming. They’re super friendly with our dog and always go above and beyond. We either sit in the patio or outside open area when the weather is nicer.

Great ambiance, excellent service, and amazingly delicious food. Everything we ordered was mouthwatering. We were just sad we didn’t have room for dessert! Highly recommended and will definitely be back!

This place is hands down one of the best Mediterranean restaurants I have been to. The ambience is so pretty and rustic. They have indoor as well as patio seating. And the food is amazing. We had the mixed grill kebab platter and honestly, it surpassed my expectations. All the kebabs were juicy and delightfully flavorful and so was the rice. We'd also had baba ghanoush and that tasted great as well. They also serve hookah. Highly recommend this place.
