Walgreens

Went to the cvs nearby and they were of no help. The difference is huge between them and this walgreens! Came here to pick up my son’s prescriptions and the tech was very helpful, pleasant over the phone, and efficient. I appreciated how fast and responsive they were to a tired mom of a sick kid.

Only reviewing because of an experience I had here. As I was checking out the person behind me was just talking to the checkout guy and being mildly rude to him about wearing gloves or something of that sort- rude especially because I was checking out and he was behind me, and talking over the cashier trying to help me put my card in the reader. I just appreciated how the cashier brushed the guy off in a funny and polite manner and continued to help me regardless! Very nice of him and professional.

I used to use Rite Aid across the street, but I had to switch to this Walgreens since Rite Aid closed last year. My only problem here is that I wish I started getting my prescriptions filled at this Walgreens much sooner. The Pharmacy Manager, Becca, is always very friendly and helpfull, and I havent had any problems with my prescriptions since switching here. The last time I was in, Becca went out of her way to talk with me about alternatives to a current medication that I take because my copay went from 25.00 to 100.00. I called my doctor and she agreed with Becca's suggestion, and I am now on a medication that only costs 10 dollars per month. Thank you for going out of your way!

Honestly one of the most chill Walgreens I’ve been to. My cashier was super friendly , and everything was clean.

I've revised my review after originally leaving one star. Honestly it's pretty hit or miss but they've consistently come through on ordering a brand medication for me when other pharmacies have failed. Just don't go during peak hours

They were ok. Mildly clean.

This is for LabCorp at Walgreens. Two stars only because it appeared clean. Candy needs to find a new line of work if she has no patience for patients who are nervous about being stuck with a needle. Seriously.

She appeared to be in an argument with the patient ahead of me whose order was not in the system, and Candy carried her annoyance into my time with her.

Don't bother making an appointment, it's first signed in-first served, whether you have an appointment or not. BRING PAPERWORK. Don't believe your dr's office when they tell you it's in the system.

The staff in the pharmacy are rude. The service is very very slow. I cannot get calls answered even after waiting for an hour. Short staffed? i.e. the Dahlonega Walgreens is friendly and efficient. I will be transferring my RXs asap. The staff needs to communicate with their customers.

Service took almost 20 minutes in drive thru and then Mandy almost gave me someone else's prescription was same last name and changing the address to someone who wasnt me. I did present my good rx coupon for RX from good RX but didnt seem to know how to enter it in the system. Please train the people in the pharmacy correctly.
