They have really interesting items you don’t see at most grocery stores. The lady checking people out was very personable and seemed to know customers by name. And most importantly.. THEY HAVE BOAR’S HEAD! Only place in Nola I’ve found it.

Best Italian and green onion sausage in the area!! Great selection of Italian pasta, canned tomatoes, Etc. Produce is always super fresh and love Karen’s signs and all the family banter. Nice and affordable selection of wine too!!

I'm never shopping anywhere else. Karen is the nicest! Clean store. Unique selection as well as all the staples.

The stuffed meats and the sausages are the best. Great lil neighborhood store for last minute items.
Karen Terranova makes the best stuffed artichoke that I've ever had and she inice lady.Teach your,daughter in law how to make those stuffed artichokes.

My entire family buys their Hot Sausage and Italian Sausage there. It's home made by the owner of this neighborhood small grocery, that is best known for their delicious sausage!

Never once did I not find what I was looking for in this little gem of a store and I did try to stump Karen occasionally. From Clam Juice to homemade Italian Sausage, if you can't find it ask (you may even be directed to something better). After reading all the reviews, I finally decided to visit this store since it’s in my neighborhood. Everyone said try the stuffed pork chops so of course I got some. The butcher was kind enough to write the grilling instructions on the paper. The pork chops were superb. I cooked them as instructed and they were delectable. I strongly recommend them.

The store itself is a perfect neighborhood market. It has just enough stuff if you forget something to cook or need household items. Everyone working there was kind and helpful.

For the very first time I was invited to window shop at this beautiful market I was amazed. Mr. Benny and his family were the utmost. I can't wait for my next payday to purchase some stuffed pork chops from them. 💕 💜 ❤

Great small Italian slanted grocery with meat counter. Best Italian sausage I've found in New Orleans. All the sausage I've gotten there has been good. Good meats of all types. Nice people. Fair prices.

Have driven by Terranovas dozens of times. Finally stopped and will definately be back. Stuffed pork chops were fantastic! The italian sausage was awesome as well. The produce section was fresh and reasonably priced.

Family run grocery with great house-made sausages and head cheese. Deli meats sliced to order with well-maintained equipment by true professionals. A true New Orleans classic. They don't make 'em like this anymore!

Fresh hoghead cheese made from scratch every day. My dad has been a customer for years, it’s one of his favorites! He said nobody does it like this family and I agree!!

I have been going to Terranova's my entire life. They have the best italian sausage and one of my top favorite hogshead cheese!

Meat/butcher dept very accommodating -- ask for a special Italian/Sicilian type of meat preparations and they accommodated --- had to special order but it was worth wait; also sausage is delicious without processed/packaged stuff that you get in local supermarkets (too much salt etc).

Front counter personnel very nice --- over all "old time New Orleans Italian Neighborhood Grocer ambiance" !!

This is the best corner grocery store in the city. Their meat selection has a ton of great options, most of which are made in house. They have very good snack selections as well with a large variety of specialty treats.

Like the old days, this is a family run Italian market that just happens to have a meat counter in back where, if you’re lucky, you can score some homemade fennel sausage that’s so good I probably shouldn’t even be telling you about this, or I might have to wait in line next time…

A wonderful old school neighborhood grocery. They are so friendly and know every kid by name. Despite the small location they seem to have everything you need.
