Verret's Lounge

So happy to have stumbled upon this little gem.
It's a small bar, but they've got games to play like scrabble and a mini basketball game. The bartender, Dwayne, was a riot! So happy to have met him.

From out of town, wandered in. The bartender was amazing. The place seemed like it was filled with family. Great dive bar atmosphere. It would be a hangout if I didn't live 1000 miles away

Didn't order food but came in early for drinks and games. Had a great time.

Great place to grab a quick drink, or meet up with friends. Great atmosphere, and the server Duane is Fabulous!!

We stumbled upon Verret’s and loved it!! Dwayne is a gem!!! He was so welcoming and hilarious!! Go to Verret’s!

Great lounge bartender was awesome gave us some great tips about things to do locally. Drink pricing was great they didn't try an gouge...highly recommend

This is very much a dive bar. Good beer specials. Don’t expect a nice clean place. It is what it is. Friendly people and always someone interesting to talk to.

Great local hangout, I was visiting the city for the weekend and found this little gem of a bar near my Airbnb. The staff were friendly and atmosphere was great!

Great drinks and local characters. Pop-up food offerings a couple times a week. Had the best chicken taco there on a Saturday night.
Afternoon cinema, evening eclectic mix of music. Just a couple off St. Charles, in a nice community.

We could not have had a better night at Verret’s. As a group of friends visiting NOLA from Philly, it was so nice to walk in and meet Dom; when we saw his “jawn” tattoo, we instantly felt at home. The bartender/bouncer/wonderful human Mariah and her dog, Nae Nae, were the highlight of our night! I could not recommend this place enough for the amazing staff, vibes, and drink prices and quality <3 Keep being awesome!!

Jake and Voddie are kings of the bar. Always made me feel welcome and have a safe space when it was needed. Pop into Verret’s to see them ASAP, totally worth it. & the drinks are hella affordable too!

This is not a place for ballroom dancing or fine wine & cheese. It is a great dive bar with personality from your bartenders and customers. Plus scrumptious BBQ pop-up and occasional funky live music. And a big covered patio. And it's on the second line route. So much goodness packed into a central city institution

I'm a Bartender in the area and this is the best place to come unwind after work. Love all the Bartenders and the new management is awesome.

Awesome little bar we hoped into to get out of the heat and have a drink. So glad we did. E was fantastic and we ended up hanging out for a couple of hours. He also suggest the Starlight Lounge in the quarter which was perfect.

Safe inside and outside seating. Great service and cold drinks. Customers are friendly and fun loving. Staff is on point and politeness is really important for everyone. 👍👏🏼😊🤗😎😄

Always an interesting time. Was impressed that they had Jameson during the great Jameson shortage of 2022! Enjoyed the bartenders princess costume.

A great atmasphere for a bar. Lot's of friendly down to earth local patrons. Great place to try if you are just visiting the "Big Easy".

Went once and felt like family immediately.
Great dive vibe. Awesome food. Friendly staff.
