Westwego Park

This park is Child & Adult friendly .there a nice playground for the children to swing & play, A Base ball area, clean Restroom area &
walking Trail for the adults, &;also a parked policeman . I enjoyed my short walk & will definitely go back on a nicer day. It is starting to rain I have to go before I check everything out.

There is plenty of shade on hot days. You can bring a blanket and be cool most of the day. They also cut the grass pretty regularly as well. In short it is pretty nice to just chill the day away there if you want to get out of the house.

Great shady walking path in an old southern neighborhood on the rise. Plenty of towering cypress trees and wide shady oaks shield the path from the sun. A great newer play area for the kiddies and a brand new clean well appointed restroom. Its small but well maintained and enjoyable. I do have to say that the tennis court and batting cages have seen better days. Westwego could use a dog park and a splash pad for tots too...but this park is a gem.

My grandson loves this park. It has slides, swings, monkey bars, Merry go round and tennis courts, also a walking trail...

Great place for toddlers to burn up some energy

I took the grandbaby here for the first time we had a wonderful day it's nice and clean plenty of things to play on and run around we enjoyed ourselves and on the outside in the Park area the squirrels and beautiful trees very nice place to take the kids. However no picnicking inside the play area unfortunately.

A place everyone should go to. They Have a Place for RV and Travel Trailers to set up and all a place for the ones that wants to just spend a day there . Great Beach , Great picnic areas with grill to cook on. And Some covered areas all with Tables . Very clean and lots of room , Has Bathrooms and a concession stand with ice cream Snow cones, hotdogs , hamburgers, And more . Great weekend get away for everyone. And Golf Carts welcomed. And bring your Boat, and fishing poles.. They have a area for that to.5 star rating from me

Nice shady place for kids and adults alike!

This park is nice and clean , five times around is 1 mile. It's durable folks, you can do it daily. 1 mile a day helps with your breathing and slims you down a bit. Give it a try and help yourself.Say to yourself , I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, Phil 4:13. Also there is a playground for the kids to play.Sorry but no pets allowed on the walking trail.

Very peaceful, I've been going to this park since i was a baby, great track for walking & a good safe play are for your children with lots of shade and seating. This park is very clean, it has trash bens around the park & has a tennis court and a practice area for baseball.

Looks good ready for the kids there Did see a officer pass it helped me because first walk in awhile got scared for a sec but was assured being elderly and sick that they are watching out for us ty.

Grandkids absolutely love this park.Take them at least twice aweek..
But I still carry a little potty for the little one.Hope the bathroom is going to be ready soon

They just put in a new playground for the kids. They have a walking track and also 2 big soft- baseball fields. We enjoy going to this park.

It's a great park with things for the kids to do. Has a tennis court, and a walking path. It's also has a few pavilion's but no chairs and tables.

Family reunion was held there today and was great place for family fun ! Need closer bathrooms to large pavilions but other than that was perfect! Would do it again!

Park was nicely decorated for Christmas by multiple volunteers. There was a large crowd enjoying the festivities.

Quiet neighborhood park with a quaint walking park with age old trees and benches for resting. Speed limit 15 around so be careful.

I was the Princess of Westwego Park in 1992 I think it was 92, I lost my sash but pretty sure. Anyway, it was a great time in my life. I was a Warrior for Softball as well. I was awesome. JS #TeamNini
