Holiday Inn Express Harvey-Marrero, an IHG Hotel

What a wonderful hotel and staff! We got here in the middle of the night and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Jaila got us our room right away, and the night security guard even helped us find a place we could park our truck and boat and told us he would be checking on it every 30mins to an hour throughout the night. The breakfast was great as well with a ton of options. Can't say enough great things about our experience!

I’ll keep this simple… I really like this hotel. It’s up-to-date, clean, in a good location, the staff is great, and it’s also very reasonably priced.

I visit the region often for work and stay at several different hotels, of varying cost, based on my location/needs that night. But I’m so impressed here, I’ll do my best to try and stay here exclusively from now on.

I was at an “elite” hotel two nights ago at twice the price (paid for by the company, so no skin off my nose) and could have stayed there again… but I’d rather be here.

Check in and out was simple and easy. Love the host and the manager here. Both amazing women. Was always greeted with a smile.

Stayed here for work and it was excellent. Comfortable, staff was attentive, and friendly. I would stay here on vacation.

The staff was really friendly, helpful and funny. I had a good time there.

Near to restaurants and fast food and other shopping. They are remodeling but the staff all made the stay enjoyable. Would stay here again.

The customer service was great and available at all times. Tranishia made our experience a good one from reservation, check in to check out which im sure will be the same! She was very informative, helpful and patient! We really felt welcomed and will return. We also had a pleasant experience when using room service.

I often frequent this particular establishment when I'm n NOLA!
For the first time, I encountered an issue with housekeeping.
I simply asked her to change the linen & to gv me extra towels for the nxt day.
I stripped the bed for her.
She put folded fresh linen on the bed & asked if I wanted her to make the bed-
Duuuh! At today's prices, yes PLEASE make the freaking bed- IT'S YOUR JOB!
I can do it, but why should I...
She told me she'd return shortly.
I left the hotel within 5-10 minutes & returned 7 hrs ltr just to find the room in the condition I left it.

I went to the front desk to speak w the ladies abt my issue...
They were sooo very helpful! One employee (I feel bad for not getting her name) returned to the room with me & offered to help me change the linen; she took out the trash & brought more trash liners, apologized for the housekeepers lack of & left a note for her supervisor.

2 days ltr, Ty, (the supervisor) called me to follow up on the note she recv'd frm the front desk employee.
She was very apologetic, very professional & she understood my concern(s).
She went above & beyond to take care of the situation in a manner that I was VERY pleased with!!

WE NEED MORE PEOPLE IN THE WRK FORCE LIKE TY!

Nice hotel, great breakfast n awesome people work here. We stayed here 2 days before a cruise trip. It’s not a cheap hotel price speaking but very comparable to others in the area n only approximately 7 miles from cruise port n 9 to French Quarterly, Bourbons street. Everyone is friendly n makes you feel like you’re home! Can’t say enough about how Kind everyone was!!!!! Pool open only May-September

The staff is very friendly and welcoming! A great variety of breakfast food. The location is good, close to restaurants and Walgreens. Clean room, clean bathroom, AC is cold, transportation to the cruise ports, ice and vending machines, and there is a washer and dryer that accepts quarters. Price is reasonable.

I'm having glorious time staying at Best Western Express. The Entire staff are very courteous,polite, and very helpful. The rooms are very clean, the pool and hot tub are a delight and the poolside bar and lounge is wonderful. Everyday they also have a complimentary breakfast for guests. I couldn't be more delighted. Hard to navigate around the town but that isn't the hotels fault. It was clean, the employees were nice, certain locations in the hotel kind of smelled weird, and the pool was closed even though it was 80 degrees outside.

From the beginning our stay was AMAZING! Front desk staff was quick and super welcoming. Housekeeping staff was very fast and friendly. Breakfast was AWESOME, with a huge selection of different foods. Everyone in the whole hotel that we encountered was happy and very knowledgeable. We will definitely stay here when we come back in January for our cruise!!

Everyone was very professional and did a great job. The friendliest person was the Leslie in the continental breakfast room. She had a great knowledge about NOLA and that was very helpful for a great time there. I will visit there again.

Whether for business or vaca this Holiday Inn is awesome, the staff couldn't have been more courteous, service could not have been any better. We had no complaints about the room everything we needed was provided it was clean and comfortable. I wish their pool have been open! At least they raised their standards. And I must say, I noticed a big difference is that it wasn't run by foreigners. And I'm just saying oh, they have a reputation for not keeping those same level standards for their hotels. So, yes it did make a difference that it was not one of those foreigner owned hotels. Definitely stop by if you ever through the area.

Definitely a wonderful property! Room was immaculate and the breakfast was amazing! Ashley, the breakfast hostess was awesome. The body wash was a plus! They offer Watkins body wash and bar soap; not that cheap stuff that’ll irritate your skin!!! We will definitely return on our next visit to NOLA!

We were in town for a wedding and wanted a hotel close to the venue as well as our relatives. The rates were reasonable, the room was clean and the staff very courteous. We had an issue with our bathtub draining very slowly which was resolved quickly. The hotel is tucked behind a strip center, so it can be easily overlooked, so make sure to use GPS if you've never been before. Breakfast is included. I've had better in terms of quality and flavor, but theirs offers decent variety.

Staff is very friendly. Great breakfast and nice extras like popcorn in the evenings and lavender cloths with chamomile tea for sleeping. Rooms are clean and Vedas comfy. Nice area with lots of shopping and dining nearby. Only cons were a bathtub that didn't drain fast and no bathroom fan. Would stay here again.

The staff at Holiday Inn Express Harvey is great. I travel 5 days a week and this is my favorite hotel. It's well managed, house keeping does a good job, and the rooms are nice and pretty well furnished. I've paid three times more for rooms downtown and not had good customer service, the staff here is great. Management has done a spectacular job.

We had a 3 night stay at the Holiday Inn Express 6/28 thru 7/02, and I have to say I absolutely had no complaints. This hotel was very clean, the beds were fresh and clean, the staff were extremely nice and willing to go the extra mile to make sure your stay was pleasant. To top it off, we had a full breakfast! We were thoroughly pleased with our stay. If you are visiting the New Orleans area, I recommend for you to stay at this hotel, you won't be disappointed.
