Exceptional shop, cool stuff to look at while waiting. Owner is a wealth of information and the technicians are helpful and class acts. Will never take my car for service anywhere else but here in Asheville. Had some front end work and brakes completed here extremely fair pricing.

I locked myself out of my truck near this auto shop and walked over to see if they could help. The owner, Robert, was incredibly kind to me and had his employee, Justin, get me out of a sticky situation! They were complete angels on a day when I felt like nothing could go right. Went here back in October of 22 for a wheel speed sensor problem while traveling through the area. They were able to get me in with vwry short notice. Unfortunately, the only part available was an aftermarket with is fine. However, it would not communicate with my car pcm. They then put the old part back in and only charged me for minimal labor, which is much appreciated. They even offered a loaner car and that was very helpful due to our very tight schedule. The shop was very clean and customer service was fantastic! The owner and employees were super friendly. Of I were local this would be my go to shop. Thanks again, guys.

Was able to take my car in while traveling and they held it for a few days. Unfortunately my car needed a different part than the original they got for me. They refunded me and gave me a recommendation to better suit my car. Great costumer service and a reputable business!

Can't say thank you enough to Rob and his mechanic for working us in on a busy Friday. We were in town on vacation and our "Slightly" modified E63 needed TLC. As a shop owner I understand the stress a customer like me can bring in on a Friday. Rob said no problem, we will work you in.... they did! Can’t say enough good things about this shop. This fall I had a bunch of small issues with our two cars and every time Elk Mountain Motors handled them quickly and at a fair price. Very professional and knowledgeable. Glad to have them in the neighborhood.

I brought my truck in for routine maintenance and due to a faulty component that was installed, the engine seized up while it was under Mike's care. Mike and his team took 100% responsibility and replaced the engine and warrantied their work. Mike's professionalism, commitment to quality work and friendly staff are what made a potentially stressful situation feel so smooth for me. It is because of Mike's integrity as a business owner that I will continue to take my vehicles to him and recommend anyone to him as well.

Rob and his team are the best! I experienced a puttering engine and a check engine light. went here first thing in the morning. Not only did I pay what I was quoted , but they fixed my car and had it ready the same day. I can’t recommend them enough. I will definitely be back for any auto needs. Highly recommend

Mike's Auto came highly recommended to me. I had a unique situation with a very old car and Mike's Auto Services found that it could not be fixed. When I asked for the charge, they said nothing. Since we couldn't fix it, we are not going to charge you. I was very impressed with them since I knew they spent their valuable time checking out my car. I give them 5 stars!

Honest, dependable, highly recommend. We were in from out of town and our car was overheating. They got us in same day and diagnosed and resolved the issue quickly. Very reasonably priced, knowledgeable and friendly. So glad we found this place.

I have used Mike's serveral times in the last several months for a couple of significant repairs. Very positive results and experience.

From the road, the shop looks pretty basic but inside you find clean, spacious and well equipped bays.

We count on Mike's for service and repairs on all of our vehicles. So happy to have him and his ace crew nearby our home in North Asheville. When necessary they even pick us up or drive us home. It's like having a life-long friend who runs a stellar automotive shop in your neighborhood. Highly recommended.
