Justus Orchard

Justus Orchard is a family owned and operated orchard with plenty of room for the kiddos to run.
Their prices were competitive to the other orchards and definitely a more affordable place for those on a budget. Bonus points for not having a wild crowd even with a giant tour bus of people there and their lines moved quick.

We had a great time! The apple desserts were delicious. The apple picking process was great. Everyone in our group (ages 5-73) was happy and satisfied with the experience! 🍎🍏🍎

My family has made wonderful memories at this orchard for many years and we love it. The orchard is beautiful and scenic, the donuts and slushies are tasty, and the apples are wonderful. But we so enjoy the family who owns it. They have poured their heart and soul into the place and it shows.

The big playground is also great for the kids!

Lots of fun. Fried Apple pies and churro with ice cream were great. Fun zone for kids. Great apples.

We absolutely love this apple orchard located in Hendersonville NC. Family run since 1968. There are so many to choose from but this one is our favorite and we've been to atleast 4 other ones in this area to compare. Very family friendly. They have wagons to pull to the field . one orchard, ill not name, we visited refused to let us pull the wagon to the field this one allows it. They have a playground, picnic area, yummy foods from donuts to fritters, bathrooms, great parking but get there early. Dogs allowed on leash. Give them a try.....UPDATE ....9/25/2023. Once again we returned to Justus. We chose to go on a Monday. The weekends can be very hectic and the car lines very long. We practically had the orchard to ourselves. I love the Justis family and all their staff. Yummy Donuts, fritters and apple juice. We were able to oick 1 peck each family unit. There is more apples in the store to purchase.

Beautiful drive to a beautiful orchard. We had a great time picking apples! Haven't done it since I was young. The kids loved the playground and we loved being able to bring a picnic lunch and eat at the tables provided. Beautiful property. Great prices. Will be back!

Large area, excellent to take a picnic and enjoy. Rides and extras only on the weekends. Ask where to pick so you can make the most with little kids

This is an awesome place to have apple picking. It's a large country style farm. They have many varieties of apples. Early fuji is one of our favorites. They also have vineyards, small playgrounds for kids, apple products, and bakery shop. Kids will love this place, so as adults.

What a fun family place. Had the fried apple pie with ice cream! Holy cow. Delicious. Also the donuts the following day, but didn't get a pic. Everyone there soooo nice! Cute little shop, great apples. Definitely a must go if around Hendersonville NC.

A wonderful selection of apples, I really appreciate you can mix and match so you can try them all!

What a wonderful experience! We drove about 2.5 hours to come visit. We were told that Justus apple cider donuts and Apple cider are the best around. It was SO WORTH the trip. The layout was easy to navigate with kids. Baskets and wagons were available to use which made apple picking much easier. There was quite the variety of apples available as well as jams, jellies, syrups, cider, cookbooks, and so much more. Prices were more than reasonable.

The donuts are out of this world as was the apple cider slushies! Made fresh daily since the donuts we had were still warm.

The playground was awesome and huge!! My kids had an absolute blast and I appreciated the tables and shade.

We will definitely be back next season and this will become our annual fall break day trip!

Amazing property. They have pretty much everything. Even a petting zoo and 2 apple Cannons. My kids had a blast and so did we. Make sure you try a fried apple pie because its the best we've ever had.

This is our "go-to" spot for apple picking because there is so much to do and the staff is always amazing! This trip we picked some Gala, Fuji and the best Golden Delicious I've ever eaten. The kids had a great time! 🍏🍎

THE FRESHEST BLACKBERRIES! This place offers more than of course just BB but it was the greatest little experience having the family out picking blackberries and coming home to enjoy. 100 times better than the store. Couldn’t ask for a more beautiful backdrop. All in all, a nice break for the whole fam. Great playground and inflated bounce pad. Then when done you can take home local apples, apple cider, donuts etc.

Very helpful and friendly place! Yummy food as well! I made delicious homemade applesauce with some of the apples we purchased as requested by granddaughters❣🍎🍏

Wonderful experience, perfect day out. You can purchase apples, gifts, treats and other baked or you can go and pick your own. Apple cider slush was delicious after roaming the orchard!

Lots to see and do. My boys absolutely loved the apple cannon and the jump pillow. We also enjoyed picking fresh apples, the store and the apple cider slushes. A little something for everyone. Great family activity to do on a budget. We discovered it a bit late in the day so didn't get to do everything we had wanted to do but we will be going back. All staff we seen were super helpful and friendly. Great place to go. We highly recommend it.

A great location for apple picking. We’ve gone on the weekend when they’ve had all the activities for kids with the jump pad and caterpillar car and apple shoot. We have also
gone during the week when it’s a little quieter and just enjoyed the playground and the apple picking. A great location for Anyone who wants to pick a variety of apples.

Justus is so much better, not because of anything different between them and sky top. But sky top is so busy you'll wait a hour to get in going up a steep mountain, and an hour getting through the lines. Justus flows well has a nice play area for the kids, cow colored/shaped carts pulled by a 🚜 and allow a few animals to be pet. Apple canon is fun!

Beautiful orchard. Good selection of apples. Samples are available for tasting to help in your selection of apple varieties. The staff is pleasant, helpful and informative. The baked goods are delicious! I prefer the donuts. Saturdays are especially busy with families as the play area for children is quite popular. I like to arrive soon after opening to avoid the crowds.
