They have taken excellent care of my family's pets since the 90s. Last week Mickey, my 16 year old Chihuahua had surgery. He was groggy the first night, but he's been happy since and has healed nicely.

I've took my dogs there for years. Never had anything but kind courteous service and they really care about the animals. Very reasonable prices as well.

I have always loved Fox Run. Meg is the most calm, gentle vet I have ever met. And everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. Before it became appt. only, we would wait for hours for our turn. It's much better now. They are caring, professional, and very affordable for those on a low or fixed income. Won't go anywhere else.

This place is fabulous! You won't see all the frills and niceties but you cannot beat Megan Presley, the vet! It cost me 85 bucks to have my male dog neutered!! The vet on Leicester Hwy was only going to charge me $230.00!!!!!!!
I try to spend my money as close to home as possible BUT
that difference is ridiculous.
She is a very caring vet!

This place is wonderful! They have a very caring staff. I came in with a chicken with a compound fracture. I was in tears. I think they knew they couldn't save him, but for me and for a chance they worked on him to help me. They are not a farm animals vet! He did die, but I believe they gave him something for the pain to make his passing easier.

Excellent care and compassion. For her, it's not about the money, and you can tell. It can be hard to schedule but that's because it's a preferred vet clinic with reasonable prices. Meg was recommended to me by two horse and dog enthusiasts that used her for more than 35 years. She is good, all the way!

The vet and staff were very compassionate and comforting during my dog's final visit to the vet. It's been nice knowing he was in good hands during his last moments and I am eternally grateful for that. They did everything they could to soften what was the worst day of my life, both for myself and for my dog.

This has been my family veterinarian for almost 20 years. Yes it's a small space, yes you have to wait, yes they are very busy. However, they are great at what they do and this is why. Patience is a must if you want quality affordable veterinarian care.

Over the past 34 years, I have had three dogs and two cats and used at least 3 different veterinary services in the area. The vets at Fox Run have been consistently good at diagnosing whatever health problems my pets have had. I also appreciate their generally conservative approach to treatment and "no frills" office which translate into less expense for the pet owner. Their expanded office hours, including weekends, are helpful to people with full-time jobs.

Best Animal Care EVER. We have cats, and you can tell the cat-lovers on staff: they won't stop petting them! We have seen Dr. Dave the most often, and he, with all the staff we've encountered, are capable and caring, and very fairly priced. Best of luck, guys, and many heartfelt thanks.

Fox Run and Meg Presley don't just talk the talk - they walk the walk when it comes to truly caring for animals. You get the best for less than any one else charges. It is perfectly clear that the animals - not the money - is their motivating factor. If you want a fancy, luxury environment, you won't find it here - that's not their priority. They operate on a first come, first served basis, so if you can't be patient and wait your turn, this is not the place for you. But I have always found it to be worth the wait - and the substantial savings, to take my pets to the truly caring folks at Fox Run. (And as if she wasn't already busy enough, Dr. Presley does volunteer stuff too.)

These people are great. They have gone above and beyond to help me with my elderly dog with surgery and other meds. They have also helped many other pets in my family at great prices. I highly recommend.

I have used Fox Run for at least 15 years I guess. I have always been very pleased with the service I have received. Since I own a farm I have used them for everything from cats to horses. The fact that it is one of the few if not the only vet services available in the evenings says a lot.
I was forced to take one of my cats across the road one time when Fox Run was not open at which point they did all kinds of test and still were not certain of the problem and charged me an arm and a leg. They told me if he had not improved by Monday I should bring him back. Come Monday he had not improved but Fox Run was open so I took him there. The vet took one look and said he has a severe hairball issue. He treated him and supplied me with meds for one tenth of what the others charged. I can't say enough both the vets and the service.

These are the best Vets I have ever known. I am a professional dog breeder, and will not go to anyone else. They are compassionate, honest, and affordable, even for someone like me, with a lot of dogs (canine children) to care for and love.

I've used Fox Run for 10 or 11 years now. They have always given excellent care at a very affordable price. When you go to a Vet and are charged reasonable rates it makes you realize how much you have been getting ripped off by other vets.
Both Vets at Fox Run really care about your animals and do what is necessary to resolve the problem or prevent future problems. The other people who work there are also nice. Their medicines are very reasonably priced.
It's true that it's a first come first serve clinic so sometimes you have to wait a while but well worth the care and savings. Not a fancy office so if you need the posh enviroment, stick with your expensive Vet.
I highly recommend Fox Run.

Dr. Presley really knows her stuff she has saved the lives of two of my precious kitties she has saved the life of my husky. When one of my kitties I took to reach wanted to do all kinds of tests and couldn't figure out what's wrong I brought him to her dr. Presley took one look did a simple test and knew exactly what was wrong treated my baby and he was better. Dr. Presley it's not a textbook that she is an excellent that intuitive and has compassion for all animals. And her prices are affordable she doesn't charge for fancy furniture and Landscaping she charges for veterinarian care.
Thank God there's a vet in Asheville who does not have the Biltmore effect. Best vet in Asheville.
