Rise 'n Shine Café

FANTASTIC Food. Fresh, delicious, great service. I can't say enough about the heirloom tomato/goat cheese/basil pie that I ordered. It was perfectly balanced with tomatoes and cheese, and the basil elevated the flavor profile. The sides of Salad (greens, microgreens, pumpkin seeds & cranberries with a light balsamic) and fruit medley (banana, strawberry, blueberry, and grape), balanced the richness of the pie nicely.

Had a pleasant experience here! As someone with a medical disability, it was comforting in knowing I had a choice not to wear my mask. Other businesses should be following the same requirement given our protections under the ADA. The staff were very polite and the blueberry pancakes were delicious! Definitely my new favorite breakfast spot in town. I will be back!

Extremely Friendly stop. We went there for breakfast today, 10/5/21, and had a good meal that was well prepared and reasonably priced. The service was above and beyond. They have the best blueberry jam ever. I NEED that recipe! We had decaf and regular coffee, fruit with yogurt and granola, bacon and eggs, home fries and biscuits. Yum!

It is a very low-key type of breakfast place. Not fancy at all. But they've got free range eggs and tempe to appeal to a wide variety of chilled out breakfast folk. They have outdoor dining available, at least when it's warm out. The owners and everyone I've seen working there are very respectful of people's differences - of which people seem to have a lot lately, if you know what I mean. They won't infringe upon your privacy by asking your medical status, they will allow you to practice social distancing and any other safety measures that you feel are necessary without judging you, and they will stand up for your bodily autonomy and right to independent self-direction. They have an atmosphere of inclusivity and actively take a stand towards protecting human rights around the world.

We LOVE this restaurant! Everything is delicious and the staff are super friendly. We also love that they value local and organic foods. Lots of yummy options! And praise God we didn't have to wear a mask to go from the door to the table only to take it off once we got to the table because of course, "covid" stops being a threat once you are sitting down at the table to eat. Thank you thank you for standing up for our human sovereign right to choose our own health freedom! I am from Asheville (born and raised) and as a local, I fully support this business for their food, customer service, ethics, values, policies, and freedom of choice.

My wife and I were looking for breakfast in Asheville on a busy Saturday. Everywhere downtown had an hour or longer wait time just to get seated. Rise n Shine Cafe was a hidden gem that was a super short drive from downtown and we were able to seat ourselves immediately. Our waiter was super friendly and the food was phenomenal. Recommending this place to everyone! I highly recommend the blueberry pancakes.

Wow 👏. Well done Rise N Shine! My wife is super picky about her bacon being crispy but you nailed it. My breakfast sandwich was huge. Service was especially friendly and helpful. Never had to ask for a coffee refill once (a sure test of great breakfast service😉). Light, clean atmosphere and Locally owned. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit and will definitely recommend!

The food is delicious! I especially love the omelettes with the free range eggs and the smoothies! The prices can’t be beat. The staff are wonderful — very helpful with my food sensitivities. Love this place. I am so glad my friends told me to come here.

Rise and Shine is one of our favorite breakfast spots and one we highly recommend to all of our guests. I’m a creature of habit and my go to favorite is their roasted potato bowl- so good! Their grits are also delicious. The food is consistently high quality and the service (which is always fantastic, friendly, and attentive) keeps us coming back!

Was in town for business and heard they were a free face friendly establishment and decided to have lunch there because of that. Thanks for standing for freedom Rise and Shine! I enjoyed my lunch and will come back next time I’m in town. I had a burger , no complaints! My friend and Aunt both had the Avocado blt and were also pleased.

This place is amazing..I've been wanting to try it for a long time and finally stopped in...man I wish I had gone sooner! Their food is crafted with love, and you can taste it in each bite! Much of the food is locally grown, and it comes out in a plate that looks like a piece of art! The staff is just as incredible...the environment was welcoming, friendly, and relaxed. I will definitely be there again!

My husband and I had breakfast this morning on a rare date - it smelled incredible when we walked in. We are both vegetarian, and were so happy to see so many veg options (local tempeh and veg sausage!), local eggs, Chaga tea.....friendly service and a good vibe!! I’m so happy we gave Rise n Shine a try. We’ll definitely be back!!

Great place. Food was wonderful. I got the potato bowl with a fried egg and bacon. It was great food that really hit the spot. The sweet tea was excellent as well. The staff were friendly and inviting. Will definitely be back.

I went into Rise 'n Shine to get lunch to-go. I ordered a BLT. So yummy and it came out quickly. I really enjoyed the hash brown too. I asked for them to be not so greasy and they came out perfectly.

The unique beverages are amazing and refreshing! You won't find them anywhere else. I got a blue drink made from a butterfly flower. So awesome!

Every December the company I work for always treats their employees to a Christmas Brunch. It's a beautiful tradition that we all enjoy and appreciate. This past December, Rise 'n Shine catered our brunch. It was fantastic! You could instantly tell they put a lot of love and hard work into their food....not to mention fresh ingredients! Highly recommend!

Hands down the best dining experience we’ve had in our six months staying in Asheville! They have excellent food and amazing service (loved our waitress). But my FAVORITE part of the experience was that they do not require a mask to enter their restaurant! Don’t be fooled by the negative reviews. And to those of you who have left bad reviews, you should stop eating out if you truly believe we are in a pandemic. The only pandemic we have is the spreading of propaganda and lies. If your logic has led you to believe that this virus only spreads while standing up before you are seated in a restaurant and while going to the restroom but not while you’re sitting at a table eating your food, I see how you’ve been deceived. One last thing you ought to consider: the very people you’re spewing hatred towards at RisenShine Cafe are among the few left fighting for YOUR rights! Wake up!
We will be eating at this cafe regularly going forward. I highly recommend them!

I love eating at Rise ‘n Shine Cafe. I often bring new friends with me or have meetings with people who haven’t been there before, to spread the word. They invariably love the food and the range of options as much as I do. And there’s something mysterious that goes on too, our conversations always feel relaxed and inspired. I attribute at least some of that to the ambiance and the general spirit of the place. Feels like home away from home.

We dined at Rise and Shine Cafe yesterday. We ordered the Eggs Benedict with sausage and it was so great. The sausage is homemade and just a little spicy and exactly how I make mine at home. Farm fresh local eggs and meats. They have Kefir, healthy smoothies and so many organic ingredients for a reasonable price. A must try.

Wonderful place to escape all the craze for a little while. Wonderful staff and excellent food. The specialty breakfast drinks are fabulous, and the food choices are put together thoughtfully and creatively. The dining area and restrooms are always clean and well taken care of.
We love this place and go as often as we can. It’s our oasis.

This is our new favorite. We went for Mother's Day breakfast and totally enjoyed every bit of our meal. Service was friendly as well. Loved the freedom to choose to NOT wear a mask and commend this business for standing up against the tyranny.
