Asheville Raven and Crone

I stopped by this amazing store on a recent trip to Asheville. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Vast array of things to look at and, of course, purchase. Highly recommend this shop if you're looking for incense, crystals, talismans, candles, and all things witchy. I also got some amazing henna done by a fabulous artist named Jessica, who was an absolute delight!!

Absolutely incredible shop. After multiple visits I can say this place has phenomenal energy. I purchased one of their dressed candles on my most recent stop in and noticed immediate results, as did my partner. The pieces I’ve purchased for my altar have also elevated my practice & I am just truly impressed!

Business has relocated to a different area since I visited 6 years ago. But at the original location, they had a very good selection of glass vigil candles as well as herbs and other metaphysical supplies. To my recollection. They didn't have as many books as one might like, but that may have changed in the intervening years.

First visit in was super welcoming. The store was pretty busy, but I had employees come up throughout my visit. Very helpful, not pushy. It seemed like 3 employees and each one came up once.

I came in for embroidery kits, and left with books, jewelry, magnets from another local vendor pop up, in the store and more. I found a cute item in clearance, too.

Def recommend.

I love this place. Just so fun to look around. Cool book section. Good price on incense. The guy working the counter was very kind, he let my 2 yr old have a free tube of bubble soap with a little wand. Their website is well put together. What's not to love?

Look up! Raven and Crone is on the second story of the shopping plaza building. Great variety of items well laid out and organized. The store is clean and bright and the team checked in with me several times to see if I was finding everything alright. They had a substantial book selection. I appreciated that they had a communal altar set up for Samhain. Prices were reasonable compared to other locations in Asheville.

I love this store so much! A must go anytime I’m in Asheville. Lots of different things for whatever you may be interested in. Everyone has always been so pleasant and welcoming!

I was visiting the area and my bestie told me we have to stop by this very charming and lovely store. From the moment I walked through the door I was in love! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Every inch has something new to explore. Love love love. Every time I come to Asheville I will be stopping by Raven and Crone.

I went in for help with insomnia and PTSD. I found one of the greatest human beings ever! You have to meet Soul, she is so knowledgeable and kind. She is a beautiful badass!! She helped me more than she will ever know! I was able to get me set up with the right products as well. I will definitely be back!

I loved my experience here, not sure why my phone decided to give a false review. My pixel wants me to review everything and this must have popped up but I most definitely did not rate it a one star on purpose, 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!! My second time in and I get lost in all of the products. I look forward to checking out the classes offered after the very friendly sales people offered me a newsletter to find out what is going on! I brought my best friend here from Charlotte and she was in love. Your shop made her little witchy heart full! Everyone was very pleasant and helpful and while I don't have a path just yet I know that continuing to shop in your store will get me there and much more!

Such a great place with knowledgeable staff and something for everyone. Always a peaceful energy and the tools of the craft are thoughtfully available. Just heard they will be moving shortly just a few blocks up the road by Zen Sushi in Merrimon Square plaza. Can’t wait to see the new place and new vibes :).

This is the store I’ve been looking for. I love my local hippie shops, but this is the place for witches and pagans. I could’ve spent days in the shop. The books! And the community involvement. A fun little event for the kids for the holidays, while I was looking around - amazing. This is community at its finest. This is the kind of community I want to be part of. Thank you for existing, and for your friendly, knowledgeable service. Yall were nicer than 80% of the shops in Glastonbury. I’ve been looking for y’all since I was a wee “eclectic Wiccan”. Thank you for supporting the southern pagan community. Yall do us damn proud. I can’t wait to be back for Imbolc (my fave holy day). 🖤

We always make a special trip to visit this store. It's a great place for handmade quality incenses, essential oils and more. Unfortunately, they didn't have the tea blend for headaches at the time of visit but managed to get a few incense and sage.

This place is practically the last word in anything dealing with the supernatural, the occult, ancient earth religions, pagan ancestry, and more of the like. I've already made some purchases here including at least one statue and attended at least one of their gatherings in the past. It's all here: mini-cauldrons, books, visual art, crystal balls, wands, witches' brooms, statuettes of gods and goddesses, incense and scented perfumes, colorful embroidery, you name it! They also have conveniently relocated to the second floor of the small plaza on Merrimon Ave. across the way from the Asheville Pizza and Brewing Co. movie theater and Vinnie's Neighborhood Italian, just next to Zen Sushi and above Great Clips, and close to The Hop-The Pop and Octopus Garden, so you can either stop in there and then visit the other places (grabbing a haircut or ice cream along the way), or come out of the other places and pay them a visit next! Either way, it's just another awesome reason to check out North Asheville to see what else it has to offer apart from the UNC-Asheville campus and Beaver Lake!

Everyone was very nice! Because of the pandemic it was by appointment and pick up only, and I appreciate that so much as someone with a compromised immune system. My friend told me about this store and took me there today and I couldn't have been more delighted. I'll definitely be back soon!

Beautiful metaphysical/pagan store. Very helpful folks here with lots of different worldviews. There are oils, crystals, incense, bath scrubs, spell kits, statues, candles, altar pieces, flags, LGBTQ+ merchandise, books, teas and other fantastic items.

So I was recently here on vacation and needed some supplies and I was amazed at just how much they had only because it's hard to find a good store where I live that has a variety of different things as opposed to multiple shops focusing on one thing. When I walked in I was not immediately bombarded with do you need help but I also walked to welcome would like tea love that 😊 and the woman I spoke to was ever so nice to me I even came back to just buy some more things part because like I said hard to find a good store where I live and part because I wanted to say goodbye to this woman who was so nice and sweet and helpful. Thank you and the next time I come into town again I will definitely stop again.

Absolutely wonderful shop. Been ordering from these folks for some time now and have always been 100 % satisfied. Their oils are absolutely authentic and handcrafted by actual witches and magickal practitioners. ARC is always at the top of my list for supplies.
