Gallivant Coffee

Discovered this rare gem not too long ago and am now a happy regular🩵 Everything is vegan and made in-house including the cream cheese and spreads they use. The lattes are incredibly good and the breakfast bagels are delicious. My go-to’s are the miso mocha and avocado sunrise w/ vegan sausage patty. Have not tried the pastries yet but they look so good too. It’s such a cute and quaint little place, great for working or just chilling. Quiet… good vibes… friendly people 🙏🏻🩵

Excellent food and pastries! It’s rare to find a place that’s 100% vegan and we were so grateful to find this spot. Delicious lattes and fabulous service.

We had an amazing lemon pine muffin and bagel sandwich for breakfast here. Spinach feta croissant wasn’t my favorite but I’m a big feta lover and it was light on the feta.

Cold brew was good, cappuccino was good, service was delightful.

Their logical progression program looks awesome (discounted drinks if you bring your own vessel).

Only complaint is that seating is limited - I wouldn’t come work here, but it’s delightful for a quick stop in.

This was the best Chai Tea ever! Yummy! All things tried today was absolutely AMAZING. Definitely worth the visit to support this location if you are ever in Asheville.

Pretty sure this place was made for me. So lovely, so vegan, so gluten free and radical environment practices that I love. The coffee was excellent, so was the staff and atmosphere and the wildflower shortbread was 100% perfect.

My daughter and I adore this sweet spot. The space has a warm and inviting vibe, the menu offerings for food and drink are plentiful and creative (I am obsessed with the carrot based "lox" bagel), and the service is top notch. We love that this business is owned and operated by a vegan family and go there as often as possible to support them. Gallivant is a a lovely addition to the Woodfin community, and we are rooting for their success. Be sure to check out the wonderful general store next to the cafe with natural goods and bulk items.

Wow, 4.9/5 and im not surprised. First time in today and the barista was very friendly, explained some menu items they had for us and they offer some amazing in-house flavor options and great tasting lattes. Very creative, only thing was small interior seating. This place tops my list as of now for coffee shops in asheville.

This is now my favorite coffee shop in the US. Every coffee is made with state of the art technology, making their coffees the best I've had. We tried 5 of their pastries, and each one was delicious.

Love this animal friendly coffee and baked goods cafe in Woodfin near Asheville. Cool friendly people who know coffee and make creative specialty coffees. The vegan baked goods are delicious and pretty. The place is dog friendly.

Definitely best coffee shop in town. I randomly stumbled upon while driving around, it’s so nice having an all vegan place where the pastries, food and coffee are delicious and made with love, this place is definitely underrated. Can’t wait to go back

I cannot sing Gallivant Coffee's praises enough! Great drinks and even better savory and sweet pastries—all made without animal products. Such a cute and uplifting café.
I particularly love their spinach and feta croissant, mushroom and caramelized hand pie, baked apple tart, maple pecan pop-tart, breakfast empanada, and everything bagel with garden veggie "cream cheese."
I'm so happy you all exist! I can't wait to return to Asheville so I can feast on your offerings.

The best cafe in North Asheville. The daily staff is welcoming attentive and always down to recommend or explain something. The owners are also lovely people. A lot of people try to spend local in town and it ends up far away due to marketing making you think the owners are normal people running a business but this is the real deal. After visiting this spot a few dozen times I can vouch for their commitment to service and providing a good ethical product.

Stayed in Woodfin for a weekend getaway and our AirBNB was close to this shop. The coffee was AMAZING (I got a honey and smoked sea salt latte!) and the service was very friendly. I can't wait to stop in next time I'm in the area!

Best coffee shop in Asheville, hands-down. Great coffee, sandwiches, breakfast options. Friendly staff that cares deeply about the ethics of their products. They recently opened a provisions store right next to the coffee shop that has great, unique products you can't find anywhere else.

I love this place! All vegan everything! Great coffee, creative lattes. Limited food menu but the carrot lox bagel was fantastic. Service was a bit slow due to heavy traffic, but that’s the price of being popular. Take your time. It’s worth the wait.

Everyone at Gallivant was so kind! I had an oatmilk latte and lemon poppy muffin - both were phenomenal. They also had a lot of gluten free and vegan pastry options.

I am so glad I found this hidden gem! Everything is plant based and they even have some gluten free options! Everyone is so nice who works there. Excited to try everything on the menu 🤗

We shared a delicious piece of orange & spice cake with a caramel latte and a chai latte.

The caramel latte was smooth, not overly sweet.
The chai was YumO! But the star of our treat was the slice of cake. Rich, moist cake with just the right amount of spice and orange.

The prices are pretty outrageous- $20 for a coffee, tea and a slice of cake, but I like that it is a local place using local products, so to me it was worth it!
