My wife and I tried HomeGrown today for our first time. We have been to their other restaurant, Home Ground, many times and figured it was time for a try. The staff was pleasant, the food was delicious and the place has a very chill vibe. We will certainly be back. Cheers!

We went here for brunch on Saturday. Parking is just outside the restaurant, wasn’t extremely crowded. I had the catfish poboy and my friend had buttermilk chicken sandwich with biscuit gravy on the side. We enjoyed our food. The fish was fresh and portion size was more than enough for one person.

Don't let the curbside view fool you, this is Southern Comfort food done right. The blackened trout was cooked just right and the chicken pot pie was a big hit. Service was attentive and well done. Enjoy this unique comfort.

Really enjoyed this place. The Catfish was perfect & all the food was prepared well. The only thing is would be that, there wasn't AC, Except for in one small room. We used that area, so it worked out well. The place is cozy however & it's definitely worth it to eat there. I will definitely return when in the Asheville area!

They have in house made from scratch biscuits. Local farm eggs and local farm sausage. I’m a big breakfast foods fan and sandwich fan. These were hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. Can’t wait to go back to Asheville to have them again.

Best chicken sandwich in Asheville! With the best sauce, honey mustard horse-radish I believe? Whatever it is…. get two of ‘em! Very friendly staff as well and the atmosphere is wonderful. What’s not to love?

Great grilled and fried chicken options plus lots more. New favorite is the pimpin chicken which has piminto cheese on top. Lots of delicious sides including mashed potatoes and broccoli options. Little house with side porch. Food was really good and atmosphere was nice. Order at center and dine in one of the rooms. To go options too.

This place was fantastic. Very small space inside but it's worth visiting.

You order at the counter then they bring out your food. I had the open face biscuit with fried chicken and gravy. I had the potato casserole as a side.

The food was fantastic and the employee that took my order and brought my food out was very nice and cordial. I would definitely return!

We came in for a late lunch based on reviews. You order at the counter and that goes quickly. The employees are friendly.

My husband and I both ordered smoked pork plates. I got mine with cheesy grits and he got the fries. The grits were good but the fries were amazing. He felt the pork was a bit heavy on the pepper but mine was great. The slaw that came with it was also really good. The portion size was good and we left very satisfied.

There are multiple seating areas including some outside.

I would definitely come back.

The open faced biscuit and gravy chicken biscuit was beyond delicious. The award winning fried chicken breast is really just a cut above. They also had a great vegan BBQ tofu sandwich that tastes incredible. Great spot for a quick, affordable, and LOCAL bite!!!

Def the place to come for a super fresh lunch. All the ingredients and options feel and taste home cooked and that is always a great treat. Staff is friendly and lovely.

Five of us came around 430. Not many people. Service excellent. Food outstanding. Pimpin chicken sandwich excellent, trout with sememe kale outstanding. Kid had grilled cheese ate it all(rare). Will return.

Incredible service, staff is constantly attentive and cordial.

The cutlery is clean and prepared, is gets a little hot inside so perhaps look for seating in their patio.

Aliments were prepared with care, workers seem to be enjoying their work.

The dessert is a must have, quite delicious and very generous portions.

There was a surprising amount of parking. The portion services are really good for their price. I got the open face chicken biscuit and it was so hearty and delicious. The banana pudding is amazing and so creamy, highly recommend! The staff were quick and attentive and very kind, overall amazing experience

The building inside and out is a beautiful, farm house type vibe. It just felt homey, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The staff was so very nice and the service was amazing and fast!
Don’t even get me started on how good the food was. It seriously was fantastic both me and my mom were in shock. I got the bbq tofu sandwich with a side of fries and she got the buttermilk fried chicken with a side of Caribbean jerk squash and stewed zucchini with tomatoes. So delicious!! 5 stars from us!

This place was amazing. We really enjoyed the food and the relaxed casual atmosphere. I am especially grateful for the delicious vegetarian options.

Unassuming looking little place that completely exceeded my expectations.

Huevos rancheros were on point. My eggs and bacon were cooked to order perfectly. I will have dreams about these cheese grits.

The art from local artists for sale on the wall of the dining area was a nice touch.

LOVED it!! Too many choices to not come back to try them all! We had shepherd's pie and the redneck arancini (fried pork bbq balls). Yum. Very small so plan for that but everything coming out of that kitchen looked so good.

I love this place. Super local, fun vibe, great staff. Featured pic is their fish and chips with Infruition Tea (locally brewed yum!). The best!

Homegrown is a locally owned and fun place to eat. Atmosphere is very casual with indoor and outdoor seating. Ordering is counter service. Your food is delivered to your table. There are several menu options listed on a blackboard, with local sourcing for many items. Their buttermilk is excellent and available grilled or fried. I like their BBQ tofu and their falafel wrap.
