Mr.Sushi North

I enjoyed a Tasty Sushi Bowl with salmon and I enjoyed every bite. Yum! Then I had a Philly roll with salmon and it was equally delicious. Mr. Sushi for the win!

We stopped in here after a shopping trip. So worth the visit!!!!! I lived on Okinawa for three years and honestly, this is the first time since then, I've had anything remotely close to authentic. Please stop in and give this family your business. Absolutely amazing. We will make the trip back soon!

If I could give 10 stars I would! My wife and I are here on our anniversary and we love Sushi! We had the Crab Rangoon roll, crunchy Texas Roll and Kung Pao steak we ate every last bit. The absolute best service and good pricing. I highly recommend this place!

This place is amazing! The people are so kind that it feels like family when I go there. The food is authentic, fresh and absolutely delicious. I'll be back every time I want sushi in North Asheville!

Oh my goodness!!!! I am so happy I found this place, totally by chance. I got the chicken & steak habachi with the spicy dragon roll (I think). Staff was very friendly and it tasted amazing.

Ordered the 12 piece sushi (ngiri) and pork katsu — and to say we were pleasantly surprised would be an understatement.

It was proper Japanese style ngiri sushi and each piece was just fantastic. The pork cutlet had a delicious thick cut and incredible homemade katsu sauce. Highly recommend if you want an authentic Japanese taste dining experience.

Consistently good! Sushi always tastes fresh and flavorful and the roll options are great. I would say this is my go to for sushi in Asheville!

My favorite place in Asheville for sushi, so good! Now that they have Boba Tea and Poke Bowls it’s even better. Fish tastes good and fresh. I am no sushi noob either. Here is a picture of my Maui Poke Bowl.

There are many other Sushi places near Asheville. As a Sushi lover who came from Korea, I should say Mr. Sushi is the place to go in this area.

So good! A lot of gluten free customers. They make their own soy sauce, but I couldn’t have it. It was neat to see an all woman staff! So friendly! I will be back!

We loved it! Stopped by for dinner with my son. We split the teriyaki shrimp and dynamite roll. The staff is extremely sweet and very attentive. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Great sushi, friendly employees, convenient lication, fast service and consistent quality. We enjoyed their Black Dragon Roll and No Rice Sushi w/ Tuna (wrapped in cucumber) today.

Their food is so good and the staff are so sweet and nice. They have great vegan options as well.

The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, they thoroughly explain their rolls and they know their own menu. Ask a question and get a thought out and well composed answer, as well as recommendations.

They have a calm, quiet atmosphere that could be described as nothing short but refreshing, given their prime location only a stone throw away from the heart of downtown Asheville.

I ordered a "Black Dragon Eel Roll" on my first venture, but I will surely be visiting again. It was prepared and at my table ready to be enjoyed so quick that I found myself surprised.

Nothing but high hopes and good vibes for this new location that I can't wait to watch grow.

Delicious, fresh and beautiful sushi rolls! The tempura shrimp was so perfectly light and crunchy without any oily flavors…I am still thinking about it. The fried chicken katsu with rice dish was also amazing. We loved everything we have tried so far! Staff was super friendly and attentive. Really love this family run spot and already looking forward to our next visit. We have tried all of the sushi spots in the area and this is our go to choice.

Always a wonderful experience here and a great place to take children. Not fussy and the prices are very reasonable and the place is very very clean.

Solid standard sushi at a reasonable price with friendly staff. I over ordered, because sushi, and got the Carolina roll and the Combo #6. Both full meals on their own.

You can get the combo nigri chefs choice - you don't have to pick one type of fish! I like variety, so appreciated this.

The Carolina was huge. It had a bit more mayo than I like, but easily scraped off. The avocado was ripe, which is a plus. So often places just slice up an unripe avocado and it just runs the roll.

Plenty of wasabi, which if you're like me, is the best. I want to see God when I dine.

Drove across the street to Weaver Park and enjoyed a little sushi picnic in the sun.

One of the best sushi places I've had the pleasure of visiting. Clean, great prices, tasty food, efficient, kind, intelligent staff and owners. Either a quick bite or a sit down meal Mr. Sushi is the place to go.
