HOT SPOT

I love the staff here, they are better than any of the others in town.
Every time I go in there it's always a friendly greeting. The managers and clerks get along well which is wild to me cause every gas station I have worked at, the boss is rude and inconsiderate. But I can sense a real good energy from staff and boss and customers. Some of these negative comments, I was there for at least one and the customer became..... Mega Karen and they had to defuse it.

First of all everyone at this Hotspot is always so kind and helpful. Today I totally forgot to pump my gas and came back and was helped by Steven. He went above and beyond on his break to figure it all out for me. Customer service and kindness like that are rare in today’s climate.

This place is wonderful. Quite clean and tidy inside and out. Outstanding service from all the cashiers but especially Chris Tarlton in particular. She is so natural with the customers and keeps us coming back! Everyone loves her!

Honestly it’s sounds cliche but this is an amazing gas station. I come by after work and I’m immediately welcomed with kindness and appreciation. The team here works hard and they show love to everyone. Steve, Chris, faith, Pam and Ernie are truly the best people to talk too. They most definitely deserve a raise just for their customer service and appreciation. I refuse to go to any other gas station just because of them.

This station keeps to the lowest gas prices. The pumps are self serve and the inside staff is always helpful. They handle cash transactions well. Good snacks and beverages available inside.

I love hotspot! Great line of products available and for great prices. I wish there were more of them around! I’ll always pick them over other convenience stores.

The Hot Spot staff at 110 Weaverville Hwy, Asheville, NC 28804 is top notch. The woman with burnette hair who was working the counter on July 4th, 2022 at around 3:20 pm had an incredible amount of patience with our group. While I was going through energy drink deals, she explained each of the deals the Spot had on offer and let me look around the store while we were ringing up. When a member of my group PASSED OUT in the store (narcolepsy, not alcohol), she sprang into action and placed wet towels on her skin to help cool her down. She followed all of the steps I would expect of a first responder, such as supporting her head and checking that she had a pulse. While doing so, she directed patrons to another register to be taken care of. I'm a PharmD and it was extremely impressive (I was still looking at energy drinks when it happened, lmao. Ended up getting monster -- 2 for 5 or something!). She also spoke with the ambulance drivers when they arrived and explained the situation clearly. I wish I had asked her name, but it was a bit chaotic. I do know that she's always been a super friendly/helpful person whenever I've visited. Finally, a member of the Hot Spot team (blond female -- maybe a college student?) gave us a Gatorade that she paid for herself. I'm not sure how the Hot Spot manages to get the best employees, but I wouldn't want to be anywhere else when an emergency happens.

Super nice people. They try their best to keep the bad people run off.

The man who works here and wears a well fitted shirt is such a good person. He is always making my day everytime I come in. He is a gift to the world. I come here out of my way hoping to see him.

Employees are ALWAYS polite, kind, friendly& professional. I love their new reward cards that give me $ off my gas. Always liked this place but this particular staff really makes going there a great experience. Whenever in that part of town I get my gas at that Hot Spot😊

Friendly customer service, great hot dogs & open 24/7. Hot Spot is always there when I need 'em.

Extremely nice an sweet people very clean an dust free store an the bathroom smelled good to. Not like a nasty gas station bathroom like most stores

Great bunch of people at work yet especially Chris she's the best employee they got if the manners you would just do some work and you need to pay your employees more money

They recently got nacho cheese. Make sure you get the spot membership. It doesn't look that pretty, but the people here are always the best. And I'm always confident that a bathroom break here will be delightful.

3/27 - cheese still going strong. No crusties from application, flow a little slow but quality wasn't compromised.

4/27 - cheese was curdled and chili just dribbled out in minimal pasty spurts. I'm dropping review to 3 because Pamela was not havin it.

11/03 - lava was flowin tonight boys. 💯 on both hot sauces (warned if you will)🔥

Great hot spot store in Weaverville/Asheville area! Friendly customer service at 1:00 am in the morning I got hungry on my way back home & this wasn't too far down a back road from the highway off ramp.

The staff at the HotSpot on Merrimon in Asheville are always great
