This is both one of the most unique places in Western North Carolina to eat and also has awesome food at the very best prices. Over the years I have noticed the same staff who seem to be happy and generally appreciative of customers! This is a lot about the owners:)

This is a must stop if you are in Hendersonville. I had the BBQ pulled pork plate with slaw, fries, toast, hush puppies, and beans. This is lots of food. The BBQ with their special sauce and the slaw with nice but unique flavor are to write home about. The rest was well prepared but more ordinary. Then I had the raspberry chocolate chip ice cream. This is a great stop. The atmosphere is unique as well with lots of memorabilia on the walls. Check it out! Oh and the staff are friendly and efficient.

Stopped here on a whim for some ice cream and glad we did, what a cool place! They have a full menu and a variety of ice cream flavors. Be warned however, it is a cash only place though they do have an atm on site.

Great hometown restaurant. They treat you like family and friends. The food is consistently good. A great place to sit down and enjoy a meal. My grandkids love the ice cream too!

Piggy's is a must each time we visit. This time we also are at Harry's. The food was great and didn't break the bank. There are so many nostalgic items to look at and discuss.

Great food and fun atmosphere! There is so much to look at while you are waiting for your food. The pulled pork is great! If you're looking for a dessert, you can get affordable ice cream afterwards.

Sliced pork dinner was good. We ordered an additional potato salad to go, so we can relish it again.

Brunswick stew a must try soup, very flavorful. Potato medallions & macaroni and cheese terrific. Old time feel.

This place has been a fun detour on mountain adventures for 2 decades for us. The decor is wonderfully cluttered with 1970's-80's advertising statues and signs. The cheeseburger is one of the best around. The ice cream variety is so yummy, especially the peach. Make this a stop in your next adventure!

The price is great for the home hand pattied hamburger,with fresh loaded toppings! The Pattie Melt was wonderful! Juicy, And the burger was thick with plenty of natural flavor. We ordered a side of FF for one and TaterTots on the other and we couldn't finish them! We will go back!!

Local eats with great atmosphere and hospitality! The food was exceptional and priced very well. Followed lunch with ice cream!!!!

Love this local owned place and it's retro feel! Always good, and I have never been disappointed with the food! They almost always stay swamped and I give them kudos for managing to still keep things flowing smoothly!

Wow, wow, WOW!!! Great food 👍 great, friendly service and cozy family atmosphere!!! Just an amazing little hole in the wall restaurant and ice cream shop in the same building. Win, win!!! So, my wife got the double cheeseburger and unless you are a BIG eater, go for the single. I got the BBQ plate and it was plenty of food and the sauce is excellent!! The homemade mustard bbq is also highly recommended. We will definitely be eating here again. If you read this, thank you ladies for a great experience!!!
