For a newcomer to hiking, this is a relatively easy walk and lovely, too. Good signage to keep you on the chosen path. Covered picnic pavillion, clean restroom.

This park offers excellent recreation opportunities. I come for running and hiking with the dog. The trails and map seemed a bit lacking to me at first, but over time I’ve grown to love the web of trails which make the park feel bigger than it is. Most people stick with the green trail and the “red” trail along the nearer bank of the creek which appears orange on the posted map. The actual markers are red though. There is some traffic on the brown and purple trails, and I usually don’t see anyone on the farther out portion of the red trail across the creek. In short, you can often feel like you’re having a solitary hike, especially weekdays. I’ve so enjoyed this park in late summer, fall, and winter, and am so looking forward to spring. Lasting value in this rich forest.

If you want to follow a creek, stay with the purple or red trail (red on east bank of creek). If you want a lot of up and down, do a whole loop of the outer red and brown trails.

There’s one nice view over the river and train tracks. The tracks can also be accessed.

I haven’t mountain biked or played disc golf yet, but a majority of traffic here seems to be for disc golf. I can only assume that speaks to the quality of the course.

Great place to hike that is close to the city!! The trail is wide which was great for our reactive dog.

One of the better disc golf courses I have played. All wood with a ton of elevation changes. Be prepared to walk up and down mountains. It seems as though they are putting money into the course and plays great.

I live in the northern part of buncombe county by the border of Madison county. And when I can't make it to Bent Creek or Chestnut for mountain biking because of time restrictions with my business, then it's Richmond hill park. Trails are pretty challenging and my favorite trail is the brown trails. Some people do let their dogs run off lead which I'm not too concerned about as long as they don't bite me!

Best disc course in Asheville. I would travel to this course just to play it a time or two. You better make your lines or be ready for bad kicks off of trees. You will get a good hike in as well while playing.

The disc golf course here was great, but if you're not in the right shape of body, those hills will exhaust you! 😮‍💨

Great park! We visited while here in Asheville and spent about 3 hours on the trails and taking photos of mushrooms along the trails. Nice and clean!

This is a very nice cut through the woods type of disc golf course. 18 holes, lots of uphill throws, very challenging, with lots of small windows to get through. Definitely a challenge for even a seasoned disc golfer.
Met a guy name Danny here,he was laid back and easy company to play a round of disc with. Lost a Sherbet colored Valkerie here in the most open place on hole 18.

Clean and beautiful. Friendly hikers and lots of disc golf options. A LOT of dogs around but we loved that! Really great fall colors in November.

My MTN bike mechanic told me about this place and kind of struggled off for a year . Went there last week and was surprised on how technical some of the trails were. They're short but sweet. When I can't make it to The Pisgah Forest my usual place to go, (time restrictions) I just come here.

Love this park! While I only use it for the disc golf course, there is a ton of trails that spiderweb throughout. The disc golf course is challenging, but still enjoyable. Perfect place for large groups to play!

Awesome disc golf course in the woods. Very technical through trees. Some holes tee off across a small valley. One of my favorite courses. Definitely worth checking out.

This is my favorite local Disc Golf course. Tons of trees, no water hazards and hilly. Needs signs to next tee or you can use UDisc app. This park recently added a covered pavilion with picnic tables and toilets with running water.

Difficult disc golf course. Very hilly. Had a great time. It seems the short tee pads aren't in existence anymore. Overall great course
