Came HIGHLY recommended by an El Paso friend. We had the "chuco's tacos," and they were so bomb!!! Chicos Tacos is famous in El Paso, and well, these were a little better. The menudo with bolillo bread, YES! Because who the hell eats menudo with tortillas🙄 the menudo was really good. I mean GOOD. They even had capirotada!
Friendly staff. Very small space. The place looks dingy and dirty and really needs to be updated. It's not nice, really. The outside isn't very attractive either. So definitely a hidden gem for us El Pasoans that appreciate REAL Mexican food.

This place took us by surprise.The food was amazing. There were So many other Mexican restaurants to go to and we were referred to this place. And all I can say is that next time? I'm passing through San Antonio. This is my stop for Mexican food. Authentic the owner and the waitress and basically everybody that works. There were so nice. You don't get that anymore when you go out and eat somewhere. Thank you guys see you one day

Very good place with real Mexican food. Menudo was very very good, the Chile relleno was delicious and my chucos tacos very close in taste from chicos tacos from El Paso Tx

Honestly the best menudo I've had in San Antonio! The other food I've had here is pretty good as well, especially the barbacoa tacos. They give you an option of eating the menudo with bread instead of tortillas which is great because most other reataurants don't! The staff are really friendly as well so I will most definitely be coming back here!

Friendly and authentic restaurant with a homey, comfortable environment. I felt like I was in Mexico for a sec. Fair and reasonable prices across the menu. I had the small menudo with a breakfast taco (egg, barbacoa, bacon). Def a nice Mexican breakfast spot but perfect for lunch as well.

If you are from El Paso or Ciudad Juárez and you miss the Menudo or Chicos Tacos, you will Love this place. Owner Jesus and his wife are from El Paso/Juarez and are serving great food and have a super nice staff!

Menudo is the best in the San Antonio area. Only place where they serve it with bread instead of tortillas. Chucos Tacos are amazing! Service is excellent.

Shhh, I haven't seen these prices since 1976! And the menudo and barbacoa tacos? Well " you'd slap ya mama to get some of these"!

They call you by first name and very friendly and interactive with all customers. Quick service and food is very delicious and hot. Always on top of your service to make sure u have a great experience. I drive 30 minutes out of my way for me and my kids.

Sabor de Mexico has some great tasting breakfast tacos. And for lunch, try out their new Grilled Cheese Barbacoa sandwich. You will love it.

Great food, must try especially if you have a longing for some El Paso style tacos!

I’m from Cd Juarez, and this place is Juarence approved! WOW I’ve lived in the us for 8 years and I’ve never found real burritos! Chile relleno is my favorite and I truly tasted the real Juarez flavor! Hands down to this place!
Tortillas are PERFECT, green sauce on point and the chiles just amazing!

Visited here one morning on my way out of town. I ordered three breakfast tacos, and I have to say, this is definitely the best chorizo and egg taco I’ve ever had! It looks like a whole fried egg with chunks of (Mexican) chorizo, and the with the red salsa (which was really spicy), it was so juicy and flavorful . The coffee’s pretty meh, but the tacos more than make up for it.

El Paso style Chicos Tacos. A little overpriced but worth the warmth of being back home.

Best Mexican food ever. I go there almost every day and my family loves the food. Their customer service is amazing and the restaurant is really clean, they always have good specials and I love their breakfast tacos. I always get the papa la Mexicana no onions and even though it is vegan trust me it is delicious. Go try them out.

Best corn tortillas in town and very authentic Juarez style Mexican restaurant. Awesome Deshebrada burritos and excellent Menudo.
