So I knew Roof 1 and Scott Westra because 5 or 6 years ago, I contacted him. We went to High School together in the late 1980's.

My mother was having issues with a roofer, and Scott worked with her and got everything taken care of, well done.

He has come out and checked my roof after Hail here in Cedar Park. Both times he said the roof was good. This past time June 2023 it was not.

Scott worked with us, helped us through the process. This week, he had his crew out, and he was on the roof and around the perimeter himself.

It's a pretty good sized project, but we got high quality, and very good work done. The roof looks excellent, and they did a very, very good job getting the perimeter looking better than when they came, and checking on my neighbors to make sure nothing fell over a fence.

Scott grew up in Houston, and did mine and some of my friends roofs in Austin area and San Antonio. A real Texas Roofing company that provides quality work and follow up.

Roof 1 Construction put a new roof on our house today in less than 12 hours from start to finish. We were amazed at the speed and ease of this professional crew. Wow! Almost 2800 s.f. one-story house with high pitched roofs. Also 2 garages that can house 6 vehicles connected by a breezeway. You can't even tell they were here. They picked up every scrap and hauled it away. Do not look any further. Roof 1 Construction is the team to call for your new roof!!

Roof 1 did an amazing job on my roof replacement. Scott is very knowledgeable and prompt in responding. He even went out of his way to take a live video on my roof to show me the work being done and to answer my questions.

The crew arrived on time. They were efficient and they cleaned everything up nicely when they were done.

Scott worked with my insurance claim and getting it processed correctly. He has really worked with me and has been so patient while waiting on the funds from my insurance check to clear.

I appreciate how understanding and how humble he is. The customer service exceeded my expectations! He is honest, reliable, and truly cares about getting the work done correctly. I highly recommend Roof 1! I am very happy with my new roof…Thank you!

I received 6 or 7 bids on my roof. ROOF1 was the only GAF bid, the others were all Owens/Corning. I did my research on GAF and came away impressed. Roof1 came in under the other bids. I am always skeptical of the lowest bid. I put all the bids on a spreadsheet to compare the line items. After a conversation with Scott over the phone, I came away quite impressed. I was in the roofing biz for 3 years, but 40 years ago. I accepted his bid and the work began the following week. The materials showed up on time. The crew showed up on time. Carlos, the crew chief, is exceptional. He is also a pretty good carpenter, as I kept an eye on all their work.
I loaned him my chain saw and he trimmed back all my overgrown trees (no charge). They also put a new roof on an 8x8 shed and replaced the 1x6 fascia boards, gable rakes and damaged sheathing for $150. I provided all the materials (Roof1 supplied the underlayment and the shingles). Carlos also repaired some damaged fascia in front of house (no charge). The crew worked methodically until dark and didn’t quite finish. They returned early next morning and finished in 3 hours. They left the premises cleaner than they found it. Best of all, my roof is beautiful and the color (Scott picked) matched perfectly! The warranty on the shingles and the work is outstanding. BOTTOM LINE: WOULD I USE ROOF1 AGAIN? ABSOLUTELY! While communication leading up to the work being done was a bit spotty (due in part, I'm sure, to a large amount of work from recent hailstorms), the repair itself was done quickly and well, and I've had no issues with leaks since. Would do business with again!

These people do great work and you can trust them to do it right. They are master elite, certified roofers, less than 2% of roofers in America have that certification.

Roger did an excellent job on our roof and handling the entire insurance process which also included gutters, window screens and broken glass.

Once we agreed to have his team do the work, Scott contacted us and let us know what to expect each day. Scott wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the work thus far, and what we should expect the following day. We never had to question if the workers were going to show up and everyone involved was very prompt. We were so happy with the new roof as well as Roof 1 Construction.

Now 7 years later we noticed a dip in the roof near the back of the house.I made one phone call to Roof 1 Construction, and spoke to Scott. Scott scheduled one of his crew to come by and take a look at it. The young man he sent over not only looked at the roof, he fixed everything, and cleaned up everything, like he was never there. I haven’t worked with many companies in San Antonio that offer this type of service. I have never regretted working with Roof 1 Construction, and you shouldn’t either. Scott Westra and his crew at Roof 1 were amazing. Came early and had the old roof taken off and the new roof was on in no time. Excellent job all the way through. Can’t recommend them enough. Well done!!

Scott did a great job. He was ready to talk with me or visit in person at a moment's notice. He did everything that he promised. He worked directly with my insurance company to insure their assessment was correct and that every storm damaged item was covered and repaired or replaced. He even took care of gutters, shutters, and removing and reinstalling my satellite dish. His team worked quickly and took care of all the details. My roof looks great. I would recommend him to anyone who needs roof repair.

I had contacted a neighbor who had used Roof1Construction fixing their roof. He had an excellent experience. I was not disappointed at all. From the 1st day I contacted Scott about repairing the roof of my house after the April 13 hail storm, he was actively guiding me in submitting the claim. He was on site when the insurance Company sent their people to estimate the damages. He negotiated all missing items from their initial estimates. All the paperwork and procedures went on smoothly. The roof repair was completed in one day as promised, starting at 7:00 am and finishing around 7:00 pm. The repair site was left clean with no remaining tools, debris or nails. All additional works were completed neatly as per the repair agreement.

Scott and Roof 1 roofed multiple houses in my neighborhood. I saw the quality of work and asked for an estimate. I had a new roof in less than two weeks after the estimate. Scott assisted with Hail claim with my insurance and expedited my claim process. In my neighborhood the contractor that built our homes did not use roof vents along ridge lines. Roof 1 installed the ridge vents and the roof looks great.

Roof1 did an AMAZING job on my roof. Scott was super easy to work with, responsive, and detailed not only in the paperwork, but also executing on the agreement. We are VERY SATISFIED with the EXCELLENT job done. On roofing day he said he'd have the crew there by 7:00am --- they showed up early. Crew was dedicated speedy, thorough, and even repaired 4x4 pieces of my 10 year old roof that I didn't know had some rot -- no extra charge. Scott even moved (by himself) a couple of my vent pipes from the street view to the back of the house -- correcting the original builders error. In the end, it didn't cost me a dime, was done as promised and on time, and we couldn't be more pleased. Plus -- it LOOKS GREAT!

I was appointed executor for my Aunt's estate. While selling her home in San Antonio (I live in California), the buyer's requested a new roof after the property inspection. The buyer had their own quote from another roofer, but I shopped their quote with 7 different roofers after checking reviews on Google and Yelp. Scott from Roof 1 responded even though it was Thanksgiving day and he was on vacation. Not only was his quote more competitive, but he also explained to me and the buyer about the higher quality of material he uses and the better venting system he installs. So Scott saved me money and my buyer ended up with a better roof. The installation only took one day and the roof looks terrific. It even increased the appraised value of the home! Scott and Roof 1 did an awesome job!

Replaced our roof in 2019 from major hail damage, this company was easy to work with and delivered so much more than we could have expected. They went out of their way to ensure we knew about all the options. They were knowledgeable and professional. I really appreciated how accommodating and easy it was to communicate with them, they provided detailed explanations with pictures of before and afters. Fast forward 8 months later; I reached out and noted a small issue, they were very responsive and came back out to fix the next day. I would highly recommend this company for your roofing needs. Roof 1 Construction replaced our roof in July. We were amazed at the service they provided. The employees worked professionally and knew exactly how to work as a team! We watched them and how organized
they performed replacing the shingles, holes, etc.! We asked how long has this group been together and this group of employees had been together for quite awhile 8 or more years. If you want quality work and a great price......this is the company you need to hired!! We strongly recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

P.S. They came back to fix a leak in the water heater vent that was caused by another company and did a great job repairing the leak.

Loved the experience from Roof 1 Construction; Our first experience with obtaining a quality roofer and by far the nicest people to work with. Their team handled our request very promptly and provided a thorough inspection of our roof and excellent service. Quality work with great attitudes; highly recommend!

Scott and his team were outstanding. Years after the roof was installed, I had a flashing issue. It was a builders defect, but Scott still came out and reattached the counter flashing over my bedroom. No questions asked. Roof 1 Construction follows through, even years after the sale AA+++.
