Inexpensive locksmith

I scheduled this locksmith to come out to my home. They gave me a 2 hour timeframe. They showed up at the 2 hour mark. The tech spent 20 minutes and charged me $550 for a re key and installing a keyed deadbolt. When I called him back to get a breakdown of the services, he was extremely rude and unprofessional. He told me he would come back and put my original locks back on and refund my money. I waited and he didn’t show up. I called him again and he said he decided not to come. This is an apparent scam. Beware!

We called after hours, around 7:30PM, locked ourselves out of the house. A tech showed up in about 15 minutes, took him about a minute to open the door. $405. This cannot be the going rate, after hours or not.

I was quoted $65 on the phone. They arrived and said same. Then added $60 trip charge and $100 office fee. They could have been honest and quoted better. Never again!!!! Do not use!!!! He was here less than 5 minutes!!! The tech was nice, smiled while they screwed me!

DO NOT USE!! Ask for price before you commit!!! I have used locksmiths in the past so I know there are not cheap but this companies prices are EXTREMELY inflated and unrealistic. I should have asked him for the price upfront but assumed that he would be competitive to his competition. Lesson learned! I expressed my concerns with the price and he just kept making excuses and would not budge.. I would not recommend this business to anyone strictly because of price. $900 to replace one lock and repair another. I was billed an office fee, a trip charge, $125 per door lock out and $600 to replace one deadbolt and replace the core to the other. Outrageous!

COMPLETE RIP OFF!!!

My tenant locked deadbolt “had key”, but accidentally also locked bottom knob lock which didn’t have key for.

When he realized he did that, he immediately looked on maps and called the nearest locksmith which was there in Bulverde just down the road, it was 9:00pm.

It took the locksmith an hour to get there, and took just a few min to unlock bottom lock. Regular lock, nothing fancy. He then asked the tenant for his credit card and tells him it’s going to be $437.80...$39 charge alone for using Credit card.

He also lied on receipt, saying he unlock deadbolt which is a total lie.

Lock Smith don’t charge any more than $130 total for an unlock trip and service at that time. I called several of the five star rated unlock locksmiths and all gave pricing between $90 to $135 total.

Myself and my tenant both attempted to contact these people several times through email and phone, the owner or supervisor promised to contact me the next day, and never called. I attempted several times to reach out to lightly with no help whatsoever.

I even told them, for less than what was paid, we could have had re-keyed the entire home with a set of keys... being it is only 6 locks.

I even attempted to ask if they could at least go back and re-key the home and that we would not request the difference of $300, still no call back.

They totally ripped off my tenant bad... overpriced by over $300!! Horrible company, integrity and work ethics.

THIS GUY IS A TOTAL RIPOFF!!!!!!! Drilled out my deadbolt tumbler and replaced it. It took less than 1 hour and he charged me $69.99 for a service call, $245.00 to drill out the tumbler, $89.99 for a new dead bolt, which is less than $30.00 at Home Depot, then over charged the tax by $7.08 for a grand total of $445.47!!! Next time I’ll break a small window, that will cost less than$100.00 for me to fix it. He was also extremely unfriendly, probably because he knows he’s going to rip you off!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

RIP Off.... general maintenance done on 6 doorknobs. $750.00.Should be reported to elderly abuse.

They wanted $185.00 to cut a key blank and I had the
Key that need to be cut.

Do not waste your time even calling this company. They will try to rip you off!

Nice Tech ... BUT WAY WAY OVER PRICED ... A COMPLETE RIPOFF!! I'll never use them again
