I went there for the first time last Sunday. Everyone was so kind and I loved the Pastor. He doesn’t shy away from hard questions. I am genuinely looking forward to next Sunday and I can’t even describe how good it feels. God is in this place!

Attended this beautiful church on April 21, 2023, for a gospel extravaganza holy worship for Cece Winans concert, from start to finish it was amazing. Thank you to all staff and coordinators. You all did an amazing job.

Such a great service! Friendly staff and kids area feels so safe. Love all the events they host. Also, such a clean environment! No blemishes at all. I am literally amazed at how clean the entire building is!! Makes a whole lot of difference knowing that the facility feels safe, friendly, and clean.

Friendly, accomodations for all ages. Open Parking lot available with golfcart assistance if needed.

Was in town for son's air force basic training graduation & realized "Max Lucado's church is out here"! But said to self "yeah but what are the chances Max Lucado himself will be in town? It's probably his associate pastor speaking etc". Meanwhile back to son's graduation.. His girlfriend made him this "congratulations! " poster which featured a Bible reference: "Love..endures all things" from 1 Corinthians 13:7. Well, on our way back to the airport on Sunday morning to fly back to California & Utah we had just enough time to attend service at Oak Hills San Antonio. First thing noticed how beautiful church is. The main sanctuary is HUGE! The people were very welcoming (southern hospitality). The worship songs were wonderful but I was still leaning over & telling my wife "I'm sure Max Lucado won't be here, but this is still great etc" Well, guess what? MAX LUCADO was there! Definitely my favorite (well known) pastor, and just is what it is, NOBODY else's books are better etc. So yeah, this was truly exciting. (Oh too, yeah was a little "starstruck" lol but Pastor Max was very humble & unassuming) I was praying "Lord meet us where we're at". And yes, God answered that prayer, big time. Anyone wanna guess what passage Pastor Max Lucado was speaking on this particular Sunday morning? Because it was 1 Corinthians 13:7 just like my son's graduation poster a few days before. Coincidence?? Uhmm, no way. There are 750,000 words in the Bible & the Lord made sure the (perhaps) most loved pastor in America was there to personally meet us in our lowly estate & speak on OUR (so special to us at the time) passage from the New Testament. Thank YOU Jesus & thank you Pastor Max Lucado for being available for the Lord to use to minister to our small unknown group of 3 people from out of town. God really spoke to us through that message. I don't know if you'll remember that sermon but we will never forget. Praise the Lord & God bless this church & ministry.

Great worship. Great teaching. Great people. It's a large church that is healthy. Lots of programs to meet needs of individuals and families. Highly recommended. Most of their ministries, groups, and services are offered online but their office staff is also extremely helpful. If you're looking for a place to encounter God, you need to come check it out!

We moved here from Albuquerque, NM, and visited many churches here in San Antonio. Visited Oak Hills Church, and now we are calling it our new place. God is great!

Incredible church that does not compromise the word of God, very family-friendly oriented great programs for children, not ashamed of the Gospel

I love my new church it is so awesome you feel the presence of our heavenly father here !! Praise and worship is faithful and fantastic! Preachers/ minister s are so honest and easy to understand! My new home has lots to offer everyone of every aga ! Come join us in our different worship time there IS A TIME FOR YOU TO GIVE HIM BACK TIME HE WELL DESERVES , AMEN!

Such a great church! If you’re new to town, going to UTSA, or traveling through, definitely check it out! They have several worship times to choose from as well as a great Spanish service. There are also lots of activities during the week like the college and young adults group on Tuesday nights during the school year. Awesome group!

I did not attend this church but did go there during picking up food from the church, they gave us a truck load of food which has helped my family tremendously.

We love Oak Hills Church! The teaching is Bible focused and solid. It’s a large church, so you really need to join a small group or volunteer to get to know people, but they have many groups and volunteer opportunities to choose from.

We enjoyed our visit to Oak Hills church. We were visiting from Ohio and felt welcomed when we walked in the door. The staff was very friendly and helped us check in our kids and show us where to go! Great service! Biblically solid!

My heart is heavy because of some challenges I am facing and the service blessed me with the right words. The Lord is ever faithful and supplies what I need in His Perfect time.

The venue was perfect for the concert. No matter where you sat, you had an unobstructed view of the stage. The sound quality was great as well. The challenge was walking from the parking lot to the inside, which can be tough for a disabled person.

Very welcoming and friendly! The spiritual leadership here is changing lives.

Max Lucado is a wonderful pastor. The whole congratulation is warm and welcoming. Someone behind us noticed we were first time guests and welcomed us personally. Music is top quality and the the facilities were immaculate. Beautiful church and kind people. It’s a church ! What is not to like?

The preacher message is uplifting and the worship service is beautiful.

I really like that church Oak Hill search I like the way they start opening up 1st thing in the morning I like the way they pray I like the way they have it on the screen I understand what they're sayi don't live around there but I wish I did so I can be able to go more often My big son lives around there and he likes it he invited me and I really enjoy myself My big son lives around there and he likes it he invited me and I really enjoy myself Going to church there I wish I can go back again but it's too far for me to goh cause I live way out here aren't 281 I wish I can go again it's very awesome I like the way they teach from the oldest to the youngest If I had a choice I would choose that as my primary church All the people they go there they're nice and friendly You get to know one another cause they greet everybody they goes there I will go back again In a heartbeat Or recommend it to anyone they would like to go there Keep up the good work and bring everybody closer to God God-bless you

My husband Juan, and I were baptized a year and a half ago. We Love the preaching of Pastor Lucado and Pastor Travis. Thanks Matt Moore for your guidance.
