Lisa and her team are wonderful with my pup. He is always happy to go and I know he is well taken care of. Always book your spot early because they fill up fast.

We have been sending our girls for years to the Red Barn, now our granddog is part of the group. We can’t expressed how grateful we are to have a place to leave our fur love ones and feel they are at home. You can tell the moment your love ones jump out of the car to enjoy their stay and when they come to us with that big smile and the clean aroma of a bath well done!!💕

Lisa always takes excellent care of our two fur babies. We love that she sends us pictures of them playing while we are on our vacation. The girls love daycare and we wouldn't trust them with any other location ( we learned the hard way unfortunately). We like to throw in a bath during their stay as they like to roll around in everything. We are itching to find out the shampoo that Lisa uses since they smell amazing and their fur feels super soft when we pick them up. I 100% recommend Red Barn for boarding, we don't mind the little drive we make out to her ranch. Until next time Lisa, the girls are also looking forward to their next visit.

I highly recommend this place! Lisa and her team were so awesome and they treated my dog like family. When I got my dog Simba back he was so happy which is how I knew he was loved for when we were on vacation. The establishment she built is perfect for dogs and safe. It’s a little resort away from home. Helps make you feel at ease. I was so impressed when talking to Lisa about how much knowledge she had on the breed of my dog. She isn’t just your regular boarding facility she actually cares and knows what she is doing. And you can tell she loves what she’s doing. We will be back. Lisa and her team are WONDERFUL!! Our two dogs can be "high maintenance" 🤣 and she handles them PERFECTLY!! Plus - they get a bath before we pick them up. The last place we used would bathe them, and they'd come home smelling like a mix of wet dog and perfume - yuck. Lisa's team does it right. Their coats were soft and shiny, no dry flaky skin (perfectly rinsed) and they smelled great for days and days. I HIGHLY recommend this place as long as you don't take my spot on key travel dates 😁😁.

Words can not describe how much I LOVE working here and being part of the Red Barn family/team! Lisa goes above and beyond for every single client (furry and not furry). The entire staff goes thru training to understand every single dog’s special needs when it comes to behavior and health. Playgroup and play styles can be challenging and hard to understand when you are new to working in this kind of industry but Lisa makes sure she takes the time to train her staff properly. Red Barn has been the most professional and safest dog boarding place I’ve ever experienced working at. Lisa gives the best judgment when it comes to introducing dogs to one another and always asks the client first if they wish for their dog to be in a playgroup setting. Even when some dogs can’t be in playgroup we always make sure each dog gets socialized with one of our staff members in our private big yard. Our amazing foster dog has some manners that he is learning and working on and is making improvement. I even taught him how to lay down and settle! :) I highly recommend working or bringing your dog here! We are ready to give them attention and love while you are away on your trip. We practice and enforce positive reinforcement and fear free techniques! I can’t wait to meet your furry babies! 🐶🖤🐶

My family and I put 8 dogs at this "doggy vacation" for a 4 day family trip. And I say doggy vacation bc it was that and more! Lisa and her staff were amazing from the get-go. There are multiple indoor/cooled kennels and outdoor play yards of varying sizes. They have chickens, emu, goats, pigs and other animals nearby which allowed for positive stimuli with the separated dog area. The staff was great and plays with the dogs at the coolest times of the day. Lisa lives on property so everyone was well looked after, as she will even text and send picture updates of your babies. I even have a dog on medication and some where on special feeding instructions, which Lisa made sure to adhere to for us. Some needed to be kept separate and some could play nice with others, which she made sure to follow through on. I simply cannot speak better of this place and I absolutely highly recommend Red Barn Kennels! Best first time boarding experience I could have hoped for!!

Cannot recommend this place enough!!! Everybody here is so amazing. This was our first time boarding the pups here and we will definitely be back. We have 4 very large playful dogs (one of them being very timid) so the fact they were able to handle them took a huge weight off of my shoulders while we were gone. My dogs came back so happy and sleepy from all the playtime. The owners are so lovely and Lisa put up with all of my crazy dog mom texts and check ins. Cannot thank y’all enough for taking care of my babies!

Bella and Princess, here for the week while we were out of town. Their customer service and facilities are fantastic plus their rates are very reasonable for pet boarding near San Antonio. Picked up our dogs today and they look great! Give Red Barn a chance should you need pet boarding near San Antonio.

It is so evident that Lisa, the owner, has a great passion for what she does. She is a true professional with great concern for all fur babies she cares for. We dropped off our two dogs on a Wednesday with the expectations of picking them up on Friday. Unfortunately we were unable to make it due to a freakish winter storm and Lisa was so gracious enough to make accommodations for our dogs to stay longer. We kept in touch and she went the extra mile to put our minds at ease about our pups by taking a picture for us then another day sending a short video for us to see them. We are so very fortunate to have found such a wonderful boarding kennel—one we will definitely revisit in the future! We would highly recommend Red Barn Pet Ranch to anyone seeking boarding for their fur babies!

Wonderful boarding experience for our dogs with Lisa and Red Barn Pet Ranch! This was the first time we have boarded our dogs and they were well taken care of at Red Barn. Check in was fast and easy, the indoor kennel/sleeping area was super clean and great size even for our two big dogs. We received pictures of them having fun while we were away which was fun to get. Highly recommend them!

Let me start off this review by saying I am one of those crazy "dog moms" who has her dogs with her the majority of the time and has never taken them to daycare/boarding/grooming. Well, the time finally came where we were going to need to board our pups, and I contacted Lisa regarding their stay. Right away, she was fantastic. Answered all my (many) questions, even offered to have us try out doggy daycare so I could feel comfortable when we were gone. My dogs LOVED it! They came home so tired it was like a vacation in itself, and when I got the chance to talk with Lisa when picking them up I could just tell how much she really loves her dogs, and that she personally got to know my dogs from just one day! I will recommend Red Barn Kennels to everyone! Thank you for going above and beyond for our pups.

Lisa is FANTASTIC! I highly recommend Red Barn Kennels for your pup's vacations! :) My husband and I are first time dog owners to a mini golden doodle puppy who is a tad spoiled. He's just 6 months old and we're really nervous to leave him. Right from the beginning, Lisa contacted me about Beau and she was already thinking about what puppies she could match Beau with! I was so impressed. She also reassured me everything will be fabulous and it was! I got video updates of Beau playing with his new puppy friends and she even focused on socializing him with one or two older, larger dogs. I will be sending Beau to Lisa for his pup vacations and even doggy day care a few times a month! Thank you Lisa - thank you!

We love Lisa and the people at Red Barn Kennels. We left our dogs Bellah, Buddy and Oakley and they were well taken care of, had lots of play time and love from everyone there. We would definitely recommend to anyone needing to leave their dogs. My dogs are my babies so it was stressful for me just to leave them with anyone and the staff made us feel like they were in good loving hands.

Let me start by painting a picture...our dog Amaya is 7 years old and we had NEVER boarded her. We had never trusted anyone with her or the rest of our dogs, not even for doggie day care. I am such a paranoid fur baby momma! But that changed when we met Lisa!

We hired Lisa to come over and help us with a few tips and pointers on how to have a healthier pack dynamic (we have three pittie mixes and introduced a cat!). I really liked Lisa instantly. I could tell she does what she does because she truly cares, it is out of love, and that makes all the difference in the world.

A few weeks after meeting her, we were in the process of getting our home ready to list on the market and could really use some help with the dogs. I decided to contact Lisa and have two of our three babies stay with her for almost 36 hours.

She was SO patient with them (and me), knowing they had never been boarded, she paid very close attention to their behavior so that she could really educate us on things we should look out for is we ever traveled with them or boarded them again (we learned they are both escape artists!!!). She sent me a video of them playing around in the yard! Seeing them happy made me happy too.

I highly recommend Red Barn Kennels if you are looking for a safe place to board your pup!

This place was great and we are so glad this is where we chose to keep Maggie while we were out of town. The staff treats your dog like one of their own. Knowing your dog is looked after and treated well provides a great sense of comfort. Thank you.

Great place to leave your pets. Clean facility and excellent care. We left our 4 dogs for 8 days while our house was closing. Our dogs were very well taken care of and happy. Lisa was awesome.

If you are looking for a place to board your pet for a day to a week or longer this is an excellent place to put them. The owners are hands-on and very nice people. I believe the husband is a military vet and it’s time for us to support all of our vets.

Red Barn handled our 4 big beasts with excellent care and communication!
