Taco Ocho - Flower Mound

These were, hands down, the best tacos I have had in a good, long while. We were warmly greeted by Michael. We initially wanted to dine-in, but ended up needing to do takeout, and they were surprisingly speedy. Michael was very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He happily offered suggestions when we asked about more popular items and made sure our order was gluten free. The taste, though, was absolutely incredible. We had 5 different tacos, each one better than the last, and the queso was amazing. My only regret is that we didn't discover them on a Saturday because the brunch looked like it could easily be my new favorite thing. I'm counting down until I can try their prickly pear sparkling margarita. But best of all, it was very reasonably priced and a great value for the taste. We will absolutely be back!

This establishment has, in all earnestness, the most overtly distinguished and expertly crafted tacos that I have ever had the privilege of consuming. Don’t get me wrong— I’m no “taco sommelier”; nor do I claim to be an aficionado of fine cuisine. I can, however, say with a fairly high degree of certainty that I know damn good cookin’ when I see it. Well I seen it, smelt it, and felt it. With my right hand on the Bible (and my left hand clutching a “Pura Vida”), I hereby attest to the outstanding quality, phenomenal service, and reasonable prices found only at Taco Ocho!

P.S. Order from their array of clearly labeled Vegan offerings. They boast an objective superiority in flavor, nutrition, and environmental impact mitigation. Not to mention, plant based foods never require the imprisonment and subsequent slaughter of innocent, sentient beings at an innumerable scale. Yum, yum! Yummy ethics! Kisses 😘

Absolutely amazing experience. One of our favorite places. We had a little mix up on the Togo order and I called and they made it right immediately. They went above and beyond. The food quality is so fresh and second to none. Highly recommend!!

We’ve been here a couple times already and the food is Amazing! It’s so fresh and seasoned perfectly. The staff is always so friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back often, it is now one of our favorite places to eat!

We love coming to Taco Ocho — in fact, when we’re taking people out to dinner, it’s one of our favorite places to treat them to! The menu is well-designed and easy to read with clear markers for gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options.

We’ve had Lauren as a server for the last few visits and she is a bright ray of sunshine! Very attentive, with a fun personality that adds to the enjoyment of the meal.

This was my first time here and I ordered to go. Walking in I was greeted by a gentleman behind the bar and a nice lady who had my order. The decor was clean and colorful. I tried a Latin Love taco and a Beef Colorado taco, both were delicious. I will definitely return to dine in, great job Taco Ocho!

Check out their menu online. If their dishes sounds savory it's because they are. Food is excellently seasoned subtle and delicious. The two taco plate for $14.99 is an amazing bargain. We've been going there since they opened. Never get tired of the place.

Great food and friendly staff. Excellent vegan and vegetarian options available. I had the taco plate, Rico Ocho and Ocho Maya, the rest of the party had nachos, salad, and beef taco. All food tasted fresh and well cooked and seasoned. Only down side is they use pre-made tortillas. Would have been great to have a fresh tortilla.

We’ve been coming to Taco Ocho since they opened and have never had a less than great experience. The food is always made with care and the ingredients are better quality than your typical taco place. I love that you can indulge if you want but there are also healthier options, including more delicious vegetarian and vegan choices than you will find anywhere around here. Their queso is hands down the best in the area. And the service is always friendly and attentive. It’s literally the best bargain in town.

We love it here. Staff is always really friendly and the food is consistently very good. Tacos Al pastor are a home run, tostadas are A+, too. Highly recommend this casual spot.

What a delicious treat! We popped in after church on Sunday for lunch and were so pleasantly surprised. The taco meal is so unique and tasty. A great value for the money, the staff was kind and accommodating. They have deals on Tuesdays and Thursdays and $3 mimosas during brunch. If you like spicy salsa, theirs will definitely please. Check them out!

Visited recently for a dinner with friends and have visited several times in the last few years. Food is great, service is helpful, and if it's not summer time, sitting on the patio for dinner here is enjoyable. Also families can easily get some food to go and hang out in the play area on the east side of the building.

This is one of the best local spots in flower mound. The menu has all kinds of variety, and everything I have tried has been excellent! I love the shrimp taco, and the tostadas they have some thing for everyone including a great vegetarian menu. The drinks are also terrific! Try the jalapeño margarita. Just spicy enough and not too sweet. And every time I come in here the staff is absolutely wonderful. Shout out to Suzy today!
