Dickey's Barbecue Pit

Love love love this place!! Always go there during lunch. Just ordered ribs, brisket, mac & cheese and mashed potatoes for my son’s 17th birthday. Food was cooked perfectly and arrived on time!!

I would never had guessed this location had just reopened last night! We were blessed to meet the gentleman who has taken over this location and he is doing a great job. Very professional and patient as he trains the new staff. They had lots of things going on (like ice not filled and soda not working, new fixtures being delivered), but the service was so great that you didn’t even notice. Excellent smoke on the brisket and very flavorful. Potato salad was awesome too. Give them a shot, they will not disappoint!

Dickey's is hit or miss. Today was a hit.
I ordered Togo on the App while a little ways (3 blocks) from it. The earliest time for pickup from the time it was (4:47p) I can choose was 5:15p) ?? Why 25 minutes for a sandwich that takes 2 minutes to slice and assemble? I would understand if I was ordering catering, but I had just driven past the store and zero 000 cars in the parking lot ot Togo widow. I drove over, went inside at 5pm..the sandwich was still not ready...1 Westerner. Clearly, they had the order. One guy in the restaurant had finished eating. Hope they don't get a bus load one day.. it would take all day to feed that many.

My family was a fan before it closed, and now that it’s back open we had to give it a try. And we weren’t disappointed! Instead of rolls they are offering toast. It’s was delicious. Seasoned fries instead of waffles fries. Love all the new changes.

Dickey's Barbecue was EXCELLENT!
Called the evening before to make a large lunch order to be served for late lunch after a funeral service. The catering menu was perfect and the manager was even better! He went out of his way to help us out. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The buffet included sliced brisket served with sauce, baked beans, juicy flavorful slaw and yummy baked potato casserole with plenty of freshly baked cookies. The price was very reasonable and the delivery service couldn't have been better.
I highly recommend Dickey's Barbecue Pit! If you haven't had this barbecue you are really missing out!!

I had been to this place a long time ago and since I don’t live in Tyler or go so often I usually never get BBQ here. I decided to try it not remembering the taste and it was fantastic!! The food was great. I got sliced brisket and ribs on the two meat plate and it came with two sides. Those were potato salad and barbecue beans. Also come with a roll and I got extra rolls. Brisket was really good. Ribs were GREAT!! Potato salad and barbecue beans were also great. Their bbq sauce they make is also really really good and compliments the meat. The thing I also liked is that the cup with the sides were packed to the lid. You actually get a full cup of each side instead of a scoop or two. The price is very reasonable as well and worth it. I ate the entire box of food with both sides and my dogs had the left over bones. They are always a fan when I get bbq to bring home. Staff were very friendly and our food was ready within a minute and a half after order. I just put my order on here and not everyone else’s. As you can see they also sell the bbq sauce and they also sell brisket rub which I did not buy. Definitely recommend trying it out if you haven’t!!! Thanks!

The staff there have been very nice, conversational and great at answering any questions without acting like your bothering them !

Great BBQ! Especially liked the chopped brisket sandwich and their french fries! Also, under new management which has really improved the restaurant

My husband and I both had brisket sandwiches with fries, potato salad,mac’n cheese and our fountain drinks. The food was yummy and the customer service was great! I recommend y’all to come check them out.

Great food. Extremely fast service. Love the Jalapeño Beans. Friendly staff and a clean location is a win for me.

We got there and the staff was very welcoming we ordered and waited to get for takeout it was on a sunday so that was nice they were open I really enjoyed their wings but all the food we got was good diffinetly go back again

Thursday's deal of the day was excellent! Two meats, two sides, and a huge Dickey's BBQ cup. What a deal! I hope they keep these daily deals around for a long time!

The staff was very friendly and were aiming to serve everyone with a smile and positive attitude. I will definitely be returning soon.

If you dine in it's a little dark but smells amazing 😍. The cutlery has coupons, omg buy the big yellow cup and get a chop beef sandwich free is amazing!!!! So good loved it. Spent 3$ got a 6$ meal 💕

The food was great. We had to take some home because we had so much left over.

I love Dickey's!😍 They have that come on in no matter the time. My visit that night was great even though they where about to close they gave the best service as if there just opening. The pull pork sandwich is my favorite and those ribs! OMG tender and moist. Yessss I feel like I'm back home with them. 🥰🙌🏽🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

We Eat At Dickeys at least Twice a month if not more. It's about a 2 mile drive to the local restaurant and they Deliver so it's Convenient for us! We all love BBQ alot & their Fried Okra is Awesome!

It's really good BBQ. I like the sweet sauce, but they have regular and spicy as well. Lots of menu options, but my go to is the meat plate with brisket, baked beans, and creamed spinach. Staff are friendly and will gladly help you decide what to get. They will definitely feed you good.

Omg their pulled pork, jalopeno sausage, and mac and cheese is amazing!! Me and my husband try to make it in here at least once every couple of months. It fills us up for a good price. If there was anything negative to say it's very small....the tea taste like the spouts need to be cleaned and a little old....so I always go for the rootbeer but everything else is amazing!!! Including the service. Never had a bad experience with the staff. Always smiling and always thank us for coming.
