best. bbq. ever. nate made me feel so at home and greeted us with the best hospitality. burger was good. coming back everyday all day for sure ! that’s backyard bbq!!

The food here is phenomenal! Very generous portions at a low cost. I had some of the best pulled pork I have ever eaten. Curly fries were perfectly crisp and they have Hershey's ice cream, too. The staff is friendly, and outdoor eating areas were clean and well kept. Very good experience.

We were here for our vacation at Cheat Lake, and found this place.
The place has a beautiful view, on top of the hill, and with that, they have GREAT foods, cheap prices and wonderful customer service!!
The seating is outdoor and is nice, it doesn't take that long to get your food and it is great for kids- there is ice cream for dessert too!!
Definitely will come back again!
If you're in the area or just driving by, it's worth awhile to stop!

Best house made, hand crafted bbq sauce I’ve ever had. Never have I ever had a more perfectly buttered and toasted bun. Everything was absolutely stellar. The staff went out of their way to make my family have the best experience possible. We weren’t expecting much from a roadside bbq trailer in the middle of a recession but they absolutely slayed. By far our favorite restaurant in WV. The vibe, the food, the work ethic is leagues above anything we’ve experienced. Thank you to everyone to puts heart into this place.

Definitely check this place out. I got the Cuban special with curly fries, and my mom got a Smash burger with curly fries for lunch. They were both delicious. The pork on my sammich was done just right- not too smokey. The Yard Sauce they give with the fries is AMAZING!

We googled some restaurants nearby after hiking at Cooper’s Rock and I’m so glad we chose to stop here! Good food, good music, and a nice deck with shade and a nice breeze going. It was the perfect place to relax and get a quick bite after a long day of hiking! Their curly fries were awesome and fresh. The chili on the chili dogs was delicious. My husband said their pulled pork was great (and being Southern, he is SUPER picky when it comes to his BBQ - Lol). We’d definitely come back if we were in the area again!

I don't usually leave reviews but my dinner was so good I had to post about it. The BBQ pulled pork and BBQ pulled chicken sandwiches were delicious. It is easily one of the best places for food in town. The amount of smoke flavor and BBQ was perfect. You have to try this place out!

Awesome burgers and pulled pork! Make sure to get a combo with your sandwiches to get curly fries and a drink. The curly fries are better than the big chain place, and the bbq beans are awesome! Local meats, local folks!!

Great food and friendly service! The BBQ pork sandwich is exceptional and the curly fries with that sauce is amazing. Definitely would recommend this spot for your BBQ needs! Also very cute outside seating area with great views and cozy ambience.

The last couple of trips to Morgantown have included a stop here. Food is very good and the staff always nice. I have to work my way through the menu. The outside deck is a great place to enjoy your meal. This place is worth it.

You always hope that the modest looking place on the side of the road has great bbq. This time it actually worked out that way. The shredded beef and pulled pork were particularly good (beef was amazing, really.) Sauces are strong. Will be back.

Wow.... the hotdogs are killer. The smash burger is a nice change from the ready to serve burgers of other places. I've been twice. Tried 4 things and they were all phenomenal. A diamond in the rough at cheat lake.

This is the BEST BURGER I ever had. Period. I just left and I never write reviews, but try the single smash burger with bacon, lettuce, chipotle mayo, and pepper jack cheese. It was ready fast as wwll

Picked up a pork bbq sandwich with fries. Staff was friendly and the food was great. The slaw made the sandwich and don’t forget the spicy ranch for the fries!

one of the best spots in morgantown to get a quick bite to eat and THE BEST place to grab some BBQ. when its my turn at work to buy food for everyone this is my go to. 10 stars if possible
