Barton Hall

wonderful place to live

Nice place.

I did not have the best experience at Barton Hall (although it could have been much worse). There were some great aspects, most notably the location, the large rooms, the thick walls, and the fact that there is a basement in the case of severe weather. However, there were also some major issues. The biggest problem is the lack of AC. I legitimately got heat exhaustion on the top floor here in August. The building also has problems with mold and roaches. Overall, I would try to stay in another dorm if possible, but it’s not the ending of the world if you have to live here.

Had issues in the lower level but we're reassigned a room immediately after requesting. Varying room sizes making things inequitable between rooms and Floors.

It's a little old, no air conditioning

The beds are not lofted, and they don't give you a dresser. The mirrors in the bathroom are too far away to be of any use. The bathrooms are run down. Unequal sizing for which side of the room you get.
