Jon's Pipe Shop and Cigar Smoking Lounge

Visited the shop for the first time and was very impressed. Staff was extremely helpful, the gentleman truly knew his craft and helped me greatly. OUTSTANDING variety of Cigars, Pipes and accessories all at fair prices. Indeed worth the trip.

Visited the shop for the first time as a new cigar smoker. The gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeable and helpful. Made some very interesting suggestions and made me feel like I was welcome. Will definitely be visiting regularly.

I was a frequent visitor to Jon's back in my U of I grad school days (30+ years ago), and recently was passing through Champaign and stopped back in on a whim. I had forgotten just how great a place this niché shop was, especially for something that has become as taboo as tobacco.

Better selection than I remembered, and the smoking lounge was a wonderful surprise! Staff was as friendly and knowledgeable as I recalled, and I must say I truly enjoyed myself while there!

On that visit, I purchased 2 pipes and 2 blended tobaccos, and have already been back once, ordered by phone once, and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

If you are a tobacco enthusiast, there is no equal to Jon's as a destination to satisfy your desires (and I didn't even start in on their quite impressive cigar selection).

Really awesome shop, they have great pipe options and hard to find tobacco blends all at a fair price. They also will hook you up with all the tools you need to maintain and use your pipe.

Excellent selection of pipes and pipe tobacco along with a some very nice premium cigars. The location is small but you can be assured they have some of the best stuff. Every time I'm in there, I get the best and most friendly service! I'm very glad to have Jon's as my local B&M tobacconist shop.

Stopped here yesterday (01/05) and was not disappointed. Huge selection of pipes and a good selection of cigars. The people in the lounge were super nice and very inviting! Had a great time and will definitely return!

I stop everything I am in town. Prices are reasonable to a little high, but selection is incredible.

Jerry is very knowledgeable you can ask him anything. Prices are good and the cigar lounge atmosphere is very cozy. I give it a 10 out of 10!!!

We found this shop while exploring Champaign on a recent trip to the area. Great selection of cigars and pipes. It had a nice comfortable atmosphere. I try to check out local shops while traveling, and would recommend Jon’s to any enthusiasts.

The staff and customer base is incredible. I went in with a friend expecting another entry level worker, and I was pleasantly surprised and almost overwhelmed with kindness, knowledge, and passion about the hobby.

Mike was manning the counter this evening, and taught me how to properly smoke a pipe (I had been doing it so wrong prior ha), as well as giving me advice and insight on how to properly check quality of pipes in the future.

Gave me a newfound appreciation, and only regret not living closer do that I could be a part of such a happy and skilled culture and group of regulars. Thank you for the amazing evening! Can't wait for more.

Nice smoking/lounge area where you can relax and smoke. They make their own tobacco blends too with some quality stuff.

Staff is friendly and knowledge. Always make it a point to stop by whenever I'm in the area.

Awesome selection of pipes and pipe tobacco. Oh the cigars, I dare you to spend a month there and smoke the same brand (Unless you like it.) twice. An excellent selections of cigars Mmm.

Great Pipe Shop!!! I have been to a few pipe shops in different states and this is BY FAR the truest pipe shop I have visited so far. Too many pipe shops have been taken over by cigars... not this place. While they do have an above average cigar selection they stay true to their name. Michael is happy to share a bowl with you while you admire the collection and see some of the finest pipes in the world. This is truly a special place. Thank you.
