"After a long day on the road, discovering this resort was a true blessing. My initial choice was fully booked, but thanks to the recommendation of the lady at the desk, I decided to give this place a chance. Not only did they have a room available, but it had been recently remodeled and looked absolutely fantastic. It truly felt like stumbling upon a hidden gem."

Very nice affordable hotel. All of our techs stay here. Plugs for diesel trucks is nice. Definitely recommend. I was told tonight 35 years in business here. Never a bad experience!!

Very nice rooms and reasonably priced. Young gentleman on the afternoon shift was very pleasant and every time he would see us, he would ask how our stay was and if we needed anything.

Bagels and English muffins for breakfast and fresh made coffee at anytime. I highly recommend this place in Alpena. Thank you for a great stay.

Very nice hotel. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Behind the hotel is a covered pavilion, BBQ grill and smoker, corn hole boards and bags and horseshoe pits. It was a great location for our softball teams to hangout and spend time together. Would definitely stay here here again.

Wow, this place has been transformed into a beautiful new hotel. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The water pressure for the shower head was great and the water was hot. Good coffee, juice and bagels for the continental breakfast. I was very impressed and will return for another stay

We stayed here for four nights, everything was very clean and housekeeping came daily. Recently remodeled, beds were pretty comfortable. Breakfast was bagels and English muffins with juice or coffee.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed. Came to stay the night before our flight out of the Alpena airport. Front desk staff were genuine and helpful. The rooms were extremely clean and the price was very reasonable! We will come back again.

We travel a lot for hockey tournaments and this was probably one of the best experiences we have had. The 2 gentlemen on staff were so helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and nicely updated. The pool area is a great size and clean with a nice courtyard to grill out right outside. We would definitely stay here again!

Me and 9 co_workers stayed here for 10 days. Our rooms were all great. All the staff was amazing and friendly, but Eric stood out and was just an awesome person. Thank you to everyone that made our stay awesome. Ps. My son thinks it's awesome you let him add a fish to the fountain.

This is by far, one of the BEST hotels I have ever stayed at! After a very long 26 hour drive I arrived to check in for a 2 night stay, the man at the front desk was super nice. I received a call the next morning stating there had been a mistake with my card at check in and I was not charged for my stay. I immediately went to the office. There was a sweet man working the desk and the owner, Nancy, came over and personally apologized. She gave me her business card, and wrote her personal cell phone number on the back and said if I had any issues to call her.

The rooms were very nice! The beds were clean, smelled great, and comfy. The bathroom was also immaculately cleaned! They had the cutest little shampoo and conditioner samples. The water pressure was great, there was also a nice hair dryer. In fact, it worked better than my personal one! I visit family in Alpena often and I will stay here every time I am in the area. I highly recommend it!

This property is something you don’t see every day. I travel all over the world and can tell you this is one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. The staff is beyond friendly and accommodating over the top! Owner preSence!! A thing of the past. Clean newly remodeled rooms the place is spotless and you feel like you’re home. Eric checked me in and was very friendly. The owner gor 33 years, Nancy, just stopped by to say hello.

Great resort motel. Rooms very clean and staff was good at taking care of us. They don't have the breakfast but you can use the area for what you bring. owner said he only needed one more employee to be able to open it back up. That was in Oct 2021. Had a nice pool and hot tub that not many people used while we were there. Will go back again.

Came into town and chose to stay here. So glad I did. I was highly impressed with the cleanliness and updates of the building. Robin and Wendy both were very friendly and made my stay very comfortable. Love that the establishment is pet friendly too! Will recommend to others as a great location close to shopping and day trips to neighboring towns.

One of the very best places I have ever stayed. Owners are wonderful kind people. Accommodations were great,clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

My husband and I stayed at your hotel on 10/8/22. The room was remodeled, clean and Eric was fabulous! We we're traveling home to Indiana, but when traveling in this area again, we will stay here.

Super clean rooms and very friendly staff! The rooms are updated and everything is clean and looks great. I've stayed in some pretty expensive hotels and the bedding is iffy, the walls are all scuffed up, and the cleanliness is not great. This is a great hotel and I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a hotel in the area. Great job Alpena Resorts!

Very impressed by the cleanliness of this hotel. The rooms were very nice and looked recently redone. Although understaffed, the employees were friendly and didn’t rush. Conveniently located a short ride to downtown at a very reasonable price.

The first reason we selected the Alpena Resort was the price but when we arrived and saw the room we were awed by the decor and the cleanliness. Great bed and great stay. Would certainly return if we were coming this way again. The gentleman at the front desk was very curteous and polite too!
